The Last Kingdom Season 1 Finale Review

Hey People,

I knew once Iseult said she wanted to have sex with Uhtred that she was a goner. She probably saw her own death and said why the hell not. I'm going to die anyway. I was a little sadden by Leofric's death. His death on the battlefield is better than him dying at the hands of Uhtred, but still I'm going to miss him calling our hero an ass all the time. The one person I would have loved to see die is the queen of Wessex, but she wasn't even on the battlefield. The way Beocca threw the spear, he should have thrown it all the way back to the swamps and hit the queen with it.

Anyway, a big battle did end up happening, once Alfred's men showed up. Fashionably late does not count in this case, but at least they showed up unlike that traitor who switched sides at the last minute. Good thing he was the first to die.

I forgot that Odda the Younger died by the hands of Odda the Elder and rightfully so. I've hated him since he took all the glory for killing Ubba. I was so glad he died and as a bonus, he didn't get a proper burial.

S1 E7

Glad to have a show on Saturday again, but it won't last since The Last Kingdom season finale is tonight so don't forget to watch.

So there wasn't a fight to the death between Uhtred and Leofric. Instead, the vikings came into Wessex and took over. Luckily, Alfred and his family made it out alive as well as our hero and his companions.

They escaped into the marshlands to hide out until they could come up with a plan. Alfred was also dealing with the possibility of his newborn son dying. Prayers won't helping, but Iseult knew of a way to save him, but it meant the death of another newborn child. Saving the son was more important because he's the sign of Wessex prevailing. The child lived with the help of Iseult.

Alfred came up with a plan to have one big battle to end this once and for all, but the only way to do that was to get all the vikings in one single place. A bunch of ships showed up near the marshlands and Uhtred came up with a plan to use the marshlands against them. The vikings were killed and the ships were set on fire. The rest of the vikings will go to Wessex to join the other vikings. Alfred now can have the battle he always wanted.

The Last Kingdom Review *Spoiler Free*

Hey People,

It's been awhile since I've done a review and I thought I should do it on The Last Kingdom since I just binged watched it and was so captivated that I had to add it to my list. Let me explain.

Summary: Before England was England it was made of several kingdoms. Vikings took over one after the other until only one was standing. A boy who destined to become a lord ends up being taken by the Vikings and raised as one. Years later, he's being framed for killing his Viking family and his uncle who now rules the castle he was supposed to inherit wants him dead. What is the boy turned man supposed to do?
