Why I Quit Castle & The Blacklist

Hey People,

Castle
I did what the writers said. I waited and watched up to the 7th episode and if there was a pay off, I didn't see it. I don't even know what they were referring to. The sex scene seemed random and made no fucking sense. Let's take a time out from our time out just enough time to have sex, then it's time out again. If anything, the writers only proved that Beckett is a horny cop who likes to hit it and quit it.

Seriously, what did this episode explain? It didn't explain why Beckett thinks pushing away Castle is a good idea because it seems like in every episode, random ass people know that they're married so the whole keeping Castle at a distance for his safety is a bunch of bullshit. I can't believe the writers would think a sex scene would solve everything for us. To the naysayers, who are arguing that the whole point of Beckett's break from Castle is because she doesn't want him involved with the case still doesn't change the fact that his life is still in danger because she's still working the case and more importantly she chose the case over Castle. She didn't have to work the case. She didn't have keep Castle in the dark. She made all those decisions on her own and to me, I will never understand why the writers wrote Beckett like this.

I said that I wasn't afraid to stop watching Castle by the 7th episode if things didn't start making sense and I have decided that I will quit the show. Castle is still acting like a lost pup. I don't even know why he feels the need to win her back. It should totally be the other way around and I have no idea why other people aren't getting on Beckett for ruining her marriage. They should be just as befuddled as Castle is.

In the future, if anyone asks me if they should watch Castle, I'll tell them sure, but only seasons 1-7 or even better seasons 1-7 and take out any of the episodes that involved Castle's abduction because even that plot was worse than LokSat. It's just that LokSat has a greater impact than the abduction. Just act like the 8th season never happened, except for the the 5th episode. That shit was hilarious.

P.S. Nothing against the actress, but what's the point of Hayley? She's added nothing to show. Ugh, whatever. I'm done anyway.


The Blacklist
I said I didn't need to watch the fall finale to know I wasn't returning and I was right. I decided to to watch the finale and it was good. The show is getting better, the thing is I was having the same problem with this show last year. I didn't think it was worth coming back to, but I came back and I got an amazing season finale and I thought this season would be different that it would somehow change the dynamic of the show and it has in some ways. We still get numbers, but it doesn't automatically mean the FBI are going to arrest the person in the end. It could be someone that is going to help Red and Liz for the week. But I thought it would focus more on Red teaching Liz how to stay alive. Instead, she just follows him around like a puppy and I sometimes I even forget that she's there.

I swear, the only episodes worth watching are the premieres and the finales. Everything else is basically just filler and it shouldn't be like that. I want to enjoy watching an episode every week, but lately it's been feeling like a chore to me and I can do without it.

I compare The Blacklist to Blindspot because they both revolve around the same plot--mystery. We don't know the relationship between Red and Liz is and you would think he would have told her by now because I don't see the reason to hold that back any longer. If it was because of the Cabal that is long gone now since the Cabal has been exposed. So why not just tell the audience the reason? It's at the point of being ridiculous. If Blindspot was pulling the same stunt in its 3rd season I would be complaining about it too, but it's not. It's in it's 1st and unlike The Blacklist, I look forward to Blindspot every week, more so than I ever did for The Blacklist. It took 2 seasons to flesh out the characters on The Blacklist, while Blindspot did it in 9 episodes. You definitely didn't know anything about the other characters on TBL in 9 episodes.

What it really comes down to is my time is precious because I don't have as much time to watch as I used to (this is my hobby after all), but what I have come to realize is having such a limited amount of time each week has made me realize which shows I look forward to the most. The Blacklist is at the bottom of the list. Granted, if my time was more flexible, I would probably keep watching, but it is what it is. Bye, The Blacklist.

Previously On Thursday...

Hey People,

I'm seriously thinking of just doing away with my Thursday lineup because most of the shows that are I'm currently watching are either sucking or getting cancelled. So I'm making tonight a do or die night. I think it's the best time to do this because it's their fall finales and in The Player's case series finale. Oh, how I hope someone can pick this up. I would trade How to Get Away with Murder and The Blacklist for Forever and The Player.

Okay I was half asleep while I was watching not because it was bad or anything, but because I was just really really tired.

The player vs. Two gangs put against each other by some weird other guy. A girl dies who wasn't even in the game and the gang member who loved her put an end to the guy's life. That's all I can recall.

The dealer revealed where the ex wife had been hiding out, but she has already moved on. The player realized the dealer has only been trying to help him and then reveals the mysterious key. The dealer and the player are now working together and the pit boss don't know about it, but we all know he'll find out eventually, we just don't know if it'll be by the end of the series finale.

S2 E8

Omg, everyone was having sex. Ugh, I hate when they do this. I don't watch this show to see people groping each other, I watch to see these idiots try to get away with murder. There isn't too much gay sex, there's just too much sex in general in this show. End Rant

The incestuous son who was given up for adoption is actually working with the adopted girl. Lovers maybe? I don't know. Catherine is a good liar.

The prosecutor had Catherine and Caleb thinking of taking a plea. The bugged pen was a genius idea to be honest. Bonnie was missing and the absence of her presence was missed.

P.S. How bad are the cops? They had a search warrant and they still couldn't find the gun that was actually in the house. The vents are like the first place the police look, right next to under the bed. The writing is starting to get lazy.

S3 E7

I think it's time for me to quit this show. How do I know? Because last week was probably one of the better episodes of the season and I didn't care. That's how I know. I could tell I was watching a good plot even though I called the brother being the terrorist since the beginning. It was still good. But I know it's time for me to move on. I'll check in now and again but this is my goodbye.

Previously On Thursday...

Hey People,

S1 E7

The Player vs. a vigilante out for revenge on those that took his house from him. In the end, he stops the vigilante and saves other people from dying.

The Pit Boss was in fact a player and all previous pit bosses used to be players. Apparently this pit boss is the legendary favorite and Alex is on track to beat him. The Pit Boss's friend got killed who was part of the council which means none of them are safe since someone is after them.

The Dealer was dealing with locating Ginny, but the lead went cold.

S2 E7

Annalise needs to make up her damn mind if she likes Nate or Eve. I say go with Eve just because she's a nicer and more fun Annalise when she's with her. Nate was in court yet again to protest the test on his wife's blood that would show if she was murdered or not by pills. In the end, Eve got him off and she got a rendezvous with Annalise. Well played Eve.

Wes found Levi's gun and is keeping it just in case, but we see that he or someone else uses the night Annalise gets shot. So what's so special about Annalise and Wes? There is definitely something going on between the two and Eve knows what's up and proud of Annalise for it. It's still not her son I don't care what others say.

Oliver now officially works for Annalise and Connor isn't like it one bit and he has every right to feel this way. Save Oliver, Connor! Now more than ever since the rejected son from the foster kids' case has shown up on Oliver's doorstep and just invited his ass in. If Oliver dies, it's his own damn fault for not heeding warnings.

I was right about Asher. He was a bystander and because of Bonnie's past, it doesn't sit with her. Speaking of Bonnie, I believe it was revealed that she killed the prosecutor in last week's episode, but I'm not 100% sure yet. It showed her standing at the balcony, but something tells me she didn't do it. THEORY: I have my money on Asher being the one that pushed the prosecutor over the edge.

Laurel and Frank are still getting on my nerves. That is all folks.

S3 E6

There are no redeemable qualities in Tom. He just sucks all around now. Kills a guy who was being blackmailed just to get to Karakurt.

I don't know people. I thought this season would be really good because Red and Liz are on the run, but compared to all the other shows I watch, this has to be at the bottom of the list. I'm not looking forward to this show like I once was. Even comparing it to newcomers like Blindspot and The Player, I prefer to watch those than The Blacklist, which is in its 3rd season and therefore I should have more loyalty to it than the others. Also, Blindspot has given more answers and is less formulated than The Blacklist. Blindspot is making The Blacklist look bad to be perfectly honest. Like I said folks, I don't have as much time as I used to and before I cut a show out I always ask myself if I'm okay not knowing how the show ends and right now I can claim okay with not knowing. But for now, we continue. I'll let you know about my final decision.

Anyway, Red and Liz steal Mr. Kaplan's getaway money and offers him deal to which he declines. That's all that really happened. There was more action than that, but that about sums up the episode. Yes, taking smart people's brains to an ark (plane) to store them and transfer them to a new body was also a plot point, but when the guy got killed so did the dream.

Stayed up all night doing this and finished at work. What I do for you people.

S1 E5 & E6

The Player vs the boy, actually it was more like the player vs the Chinese executioners since they were the ones after the boy. The boy was a genius and created another Silk Road, but since being caught he turned good and was trying to secure the American government by finding cracks in it and he jut so happened to find a virus that would let the Chinese control missiles, drones, and other dangerous weapons. Alex helps the boy not get killed because he's the only one who could recognize the code. In the end, the boy was exonerated from all crimes and promised to help the government. 

We find out that Ginny is still alive and I have no idea what the fuck she's doing. Chick was talking to somebody. The dealer saw Ginny's body was switched for another so now she definitely knows something is up. As for the pit boss, he was handling the million dollar gambler who was breaking the rules by not only gambling on a bet he had a personal stake in, but he also was gambling on the side. Apparently, if you break the rules twice, the price is death. 

This game is too high for my blood.

The Player vs weird deity lover who kidnaps his annoying niece. Okay I'm going to say it since no one else is. That girl was annoying. "Oh, I wanted to steal a snow globe as a present for you." WTF kid? Was it wrong for me to wish the guy actually did cut off her head? Yes, but it would have been well deserved.

Anyway, this probably was the worst episode so far just because of the annoying kid, but on the bright side we did get to see the Pit Boss kill a guy with such ease and he's actually helping the Player find his ex-wife. I still don't get what the Pit Boss is up to.

If you haven't heard The Player was reduced aka the show is being cancelled, so enjoy it while it lasts. I still think this is an incredible show that has such potential.  

S2 E5 & E6

So much happening! Annalise is losing control over everything. Nate finds out about his wife trying to commit suicide with Annalise's help and she thought this would be a perfect time for him to come clean about Wes and him working together, but instead he keeps silent. Annalise eventually confronts him about Wes and I guess we'll see the result of their talk tonight.

Since Levi got arrested for drug possession planted by Frank, I'm guessing he's out of the picture, at least for now. Wes and the group follow up on another seed Frank planted and it leads them to a ton of cash. I would be satisfied with this, but I'm guessing Wes won't be. What will they do with the money. Split it among themselves probably.

Connor doesn't give 2 shits anymore about what Annalise thinks; however, maybe now him, Michaela, and Laurel will be submissive to Annalise's warning. In their defense, their suspicions were warranted, especially when theyc ould have been avoided with Annalise just telling them the truth about Bonnie.

Speaking of Bonnie, we find out a lot about her past. She was a sexually abused child, which kind of explains why she's always seeking approval from Annalise. The theory could still be in play, but this also could explain things as well. Asher still believes Bonnie killed Sam and he was going to turn her in because he believes the truth will eventually catch up to your lies. I'm guessing he's speaking with experience, yet we still don't know what the experience was. I'm not going to lie to you folks. I actually did not hate the prosecutor this time around. She was actually making some sense about how killing is wrong no matter the reason why and Annalise should know better. I also have to say I liked the judge because she didn't buy into Annalise's bullshit. Oh, I just find it on my desk. Oh, please Annalise.

The biggest surprise was in the future Asher was their at the house with Bonnie. So glad he's not the sober guy in The Hangover and misses out on the fun everyone's having. The only problem is Asher goes to the police requesting to make a statement. This isn't good.

P.S. I love how Michaela now always thinks if she finds her boy toys with another guy, her mind automatically thinks he's gay.

Again, I don't know why people think Annalise is Wes's mother. That should be squashed by now. I also hate how Annalise blatantly lied to the boy about Rebecca. And she doesn't understand why the boy doesn't trust her.

Nate decided to end his wife's life and is in depression mode. Michaela was asked out by Caleb. Does this mean the incest rumor wasn't true? Because I really thought it was and they were just denying it. Michaela has a bad taste picking out guys so let's not be too hasty with this one.

Asher seems to be getting used to the idea that Bonnie is a murderer, but Bonnie is going to find out Asher's past that involves a gang rape. Based on the way Asher reacted to Bonnie's rape, I don't think he was a part of it. I think he was a bystander.

Laurel and Frank are getting annoying. I'm actually starting to really hate Frank. He invited Laurel to his families house. Ugh, if Frank could get murdered by the end of this season that would be great. There are times that I think even Laurel doesn't really like him.

As for the future, it seems like Frank is setting up Catherine to take the fall for killing the prosecutor. Man is twisted.

S3 E4 & E5

Ending each episode with Tom is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Ugh, I get it he loves Liz and wants to save her.

The number of the week was a woman who grants people desires and it just so happened that she had two names of people in the Cabal. I kind of felt bad for the woman or should I say man? His father cut off his penis and changed him into a girl just because he's gay. That's fucked up. Was it bad of me that I was rooting for the father to die the entire time? I don't think so.

Ressler and Samar are still trying to piece together what Liz and Red are up to and Cooper and Tom are taking the rich man's route and hoping that some way it connects them to Karakurt. As for Dembe, he got shot by Pee Wee. WTF Pee Wee? I forgot that he was in this show before and now it turns out he works for the Cabal as well? Please tell me The Blacklist isn't turning into The Following where it turned out everyone was a part of the cult. But I am really enjoying this season overall.

Again, the episode ends with Tom. I'm never going to win am I? But at least his storyline is becoming more interesting to me.

Liz was being hunted by assassins because of a crowdfunding website. I knew it was the girl who put Liz on the site. I'm just glad they didn't kill her.

Ressler has to work with a Cabal leader. This is totally stupid. You don't have to be a genius to figure out how unethical this arrangement is, even if they don't want another 9/11 to happen. You definitely don't clear the guy to work a case that he's being investigated for. That makes no sense. Fail The Blacklist.

Dembe isn't dead! For a second there, I thought he was. At least Pee Wee is gone. That mofoing traitor.

Previously On Thursday...

Hey People,

I vow to watch Player to the end and I don't do that to many shows, especially one that is doomed as this. Sorry for the lateness people.

S1 E3 & E4

E3
The Player vs. 1000ft sniper paid to kill a group of people because they stole from the mob. The player wins!

We learn a little about Cassandra, the dealer, and how she comes with her own military skills, British style.

As for pit boss Johnson, he was busy the whole episode collecting information Kane had his friend dig up off of that memory card. He gave Kane's friend unusable info to pass to Kane. What I'm trying to understand is why Ginny would leave such useless information on a memory card and stick it inside a picture? I know it's faked, but you would think Kane would be quick to this conclusion.

E4
The Player vs. wife beater who wanted to kill his wife because she wanted to kill him for beating her up to the point that she lost a baby. This game of the week, was a little too close to home for Alex because Ginny helped the wife out after she was beaten. In the end, the wife beater went directly to jail where he will definitely be killed, so no need for the wife to testify now and Alex found out from the wife that Ginny was scared of something in her past.

The dealer dealt with her private life and the pit boss had to tell her that eventually she will learn she can't have a private life outside the game. The dealer reveals she didn't choose this life unlike the pit boss. The only thing we learned about the pit boss this episode is that he grew into his own in Chicago.

S2 E3 & E4

So Nate is working with Wes now to find out what Annalise knows and somehow Nate is now involved in the future, at least he saved the kids from being caught and gave them a ride. I thought Asher would finally be a part of the group since his girlfriend is crazy or should I say ex-girlfriend now. Asher and Bonnie broke up and I'm actually a little upset about it. I guess I am still rooting for them in a sick and twisted way. But I'm glad Asher laid down the law with that prosecutor. She would have just kept blackmailing him about that girl the whole time. It must be serious what he did because Asher went to his father about the situation.

Connor finally had sex with Oliver and Michaela admitted to the group she's never had an orgasm before, but the episode ended with her probably having one with the new guy she's dating. Wes finds out the new guy is the same guy Rebecca knew and now knows Rebecca is Eggs. The new guy is Rebecca's foster brother and he fears Rebecca is dead, which he's not wrong about. Rebecca got the name Eggs when she dropped a bunch of eggs on the floor. Wes told Rebecca's foster brother to stay away from Michaela, but we know now that didn't happen so now I'm just waiting for shit to hit the fan on this one.

Laurel admitted to Bonnie that she likes Frank and Bonnie admits to her that she likes Asher. It was a funny scene and I kinda want to see them hangout a bit more.

As for Annalise, she needs to make up her damn mind about who she wants to be with, Eve or Nate. I'm pretty sure she just goes with who's in proximity.

They did have a case-of-the-week this episode. I thought we were finished with those on this show, but I'll allow it since they had Sherri Shaum (The Fosters). They changed her from being the school's vice principal and lesbian mother to being the mother hen of a sex club, where she performed BDSM. She killed the guy, but of course, with Annalise as your lawyer she got off. Now she can go back to her former life as a lesbian mother. As for the case of the season, we find that the adopted kids are into each other. Did I not call that? My theory is starting to be correct. Even their maid, or whatever she was, who's been with them since they were toddlers believes they're guilty.

Okay I can't stand this case-of-the-week, which goes back to why I hated how HTGAWM worked their cases in general because they were always wrong about the law. If you're going to argue your client need mental help and not jail, fine, but don't then destroy the doctor who is basically agreeing with you that your client needs mental, I don't think it's a wise idea to try and ruin him on the stand. You can't have it both ways. You can't argue, your client is needs a hospital and is innocent of wrongdoing. She killed someone that isn't what's up for argument, what should have been the main argument in this case is her thought process. Can she plea being sick? It didn't really matter who the ringleader was for the killing because all of the girls are killers. Social pressure my ass. Yes, peer pressure can make you do stupid stuff, but there is a point where there's no return and killing someone is definitely way pass the line. I'm glad Connor leaked the video because he was doing Annalise's job for her. If she had this type of damaging evidence, she would have to quit being her lawyer or hand the evidence over to prosecutors. This episode really made me like Connor. So glad that crazy chick went to jail.

Connor made noticed some similarities to the case and how Annalise treats them and I have to agree with the man. Connor is becoming more sensitive and it seems Laurel is becoming more cold.

Wes and Levi are working together to find Rebecca and Levi finds out that Frank probably buried Rebecca in a cemetery, but Nate brought up a good point. Who's to say Levi is who he says he is. He admitted he lie to find out what happened to Rebecca maybe he's a stalker-ish ex-boyfriend who is now dating Michaela.

Asher made a deal with the prosecutor who was blackmailing him about that girl and we still don't know the story there, but Asher has agreed to testify in the Sam Keating case, but they may be put on hold now since Bonnie lied to him and told him that she killed Sam. I'm just glad Asher isn't as dumb as we all thought he was and realized all the whispering when he's not in the room.

As for Annalise, she got a call from Nate's wife in the hospital and was asked to help his wife kill herself by getting some pills for her. Annalise came to the conclusion that if she, herself, is still alive then there is no way she can help a nice woman like Nate's wife kill herself because if she deserves to live so does Nate's wife.

As for the future, I have no idea why Caleb is in an apartment that Michaela has the keys to. Maybe she did have a crush on him after all. But at least we know that Caleb and his adopted sister aren't boning each other, but that doesn't take away from them not being into each other.

S3 E2 & E3

Red and Liz decide hold up a diner, when in fact, the whole purpose was to free a criminal lawyer. The lawyer finds something in the fulcrum and that's all that really happens. No body believed for a second that Liz was a Russian spy, not even the Russians.

Harold went out of his job gracefully and when I say gracefully I mean he's taking a dead end job instead of retiring. Dembe is being tortured for not disclosing where Red is. I'm just glad his granddaughter got the antidote. Now he just needs to get out of those handcuffs and beat the shit out of that guy.

Oh and godawful Tom is back.

I sort of watched this episode. I probably will re-watch it just to make sure I know what happened but from what I can tell, Red and Liz wanted to take The Cabal's money away from them by going after a farm that genetically make their seeds. They figure out in the end that the real plan was to spread a virus that only they had the cure to and therefore make tons of money that way. I'm sick of watching genetic farms in my shows. Writers need to start getting creative. In the end, the bad guys (the really bad guys) get caught.

It's funny and sad how Liz is reacting to her new role. Watching from her perspective I would think she hasn't changed and is still about the truth and justice. However, from the outside perspective like Ressler, I would think this bitch has lost her damn mind and has been hanging out with Red for far too long. Basically she had been corrupted. It's also funny how when Red was on his own he was never in danger of getting caught, but with Liz it's always close calls or basically just leading the cops right at their doorstep. Girl needs to learn how to be a criminal.

What else? Tom is back annoying the crap out of me again. He was just waiting for Liz to call him the whole time, but instead he gets a visit from Harold. Harold wants him to help Liz clear her name. I was glad to see Ressler go to Harold for advice but it's just so funny how Harold told Ressler to follow his gut and not trust Tom but he goes directly to him. Here's hoping Tom still dies.

Previously On Thursday...

Hey People,

S3 E1

The Blacklist returned better than ever with Red and Liz on the run. In the end, Red made it out of the city, but Liz had to be creative. She went to the Russian embassy and claimed to be her mother, a Russian spy, asking for diplomatic immunity.

There have been some complaints about Ressler and how he's handling the situation with Keen. I think most people are forgetting that Ressler feels responsible for what Liz did after letting her go. In his mind, the only way to correct his mistake is to catch Keen. He's a by the book kind of guy, but his conversation with Red about Liz may be hinting at feelings Ressler may have for Keen. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Let's not forget Harold and his wife that will not be charged with anything. Does that mean Harold can have his job? I don't see how, but you never know with this show.

As for Dembe, man could have his own TV show since he was totally separated from everyone else. We find out Dembe has a daughter and the most beautiful granddaughter ever. It's totally messed up that the kidnappers gave his grandbaby a toxin that could kill her in 3 weeks if Dembe doesn't do what they say. It's just really fucked up. Seems like The Cabal isn't done fucking people over just yet.

P.S. Wasn't it just foul how Red gave up the Asian guy's name after he helped him out. I know it's what Red does and I wonder if it will still continue now that Liz is on The Blacklist herself now, but it was so not cool.
P.P.S. The way Ressler shot the guy holding Samar hostage...man didn't even blink.

S1 E2

Nice to see Joseph Sikora (Tommy in Power) in The Player still playing as the bad guy. He turns out to be an old buddy of Alex's from the military days except unlike Alex he didn't have anyone to pull him out of his darkness like Ginny did for Alex. There was some great action like always. I mean, they jumped out of a plane together. You don't see that too often. I get why some people compared this to Human Target because it has that adventurous side to it.

Alex had a DNA test done on Ginny and it came back a match, but he still doesn't believe Ginny is dead and neither does the pit boss. So why did he kill the only lead they had? Something tells me he had something to do with Ginny's disappearance, but he doesn't care much for Alex so it's not like he has bigger plans for him. I don't know we'll just have to wait and see.

We got to know a little bit more about Cassandrea. We know she has a boyfriend, which was a surprise to me because I thought she would start falling for Alex. She seems to care enough to want him to win in some way. But it doesn't mean it still can't happen. Why do I get the feeling that she is just as much as a prisoner in this game as Alex is.

Anyway, I'm still worried about this show because the ratings didn't improve even with the premiere of The Blacklist (not like that show was doing great things before, but still...) The only good thing is that viewership only dropped 100,000. I hope that this show can wrap it up with 13 episodes because it looks like it'll have to.

S2 E2

Okay well that didn't end like how I expected it to. Let's start from the top. Annalise was called as a witness or maybe I should say a hostile witness in Nate's pre-trial. Annalise blamed Nate for her husband's death and that left Eve no choice but to point the blame back at Annalise. Things got a little personal at pre-trial. What they say is true--lawyers make the worse witnesses. Annalise was actually quite hurt that Eve got so personal and I was shocked that Annalise was hurt. I'm sorry. I just have a hard time witnessing Annalise show emotions. I mean, most of the time I think she's doing it because she's manipulating someone to do her bidding, but she has nothing to gain by doing it to Eve at that point so I was just confused. Eve let it out that she is still in love with Annalise, which is why she went so hard on her (as payback for leaving her for her dead husband) and Annalise tells Eve that she's the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to her. That's probably because she hasn't corrupted Eve enough yet. They get it on one last time before Eve leaves asking for Annalise to think about following her back to New York. Once again, I'm shocked. I'm shocked this ended on a good note. Eve brings out the good side of Annalise. Yes, Nate was there to see their final kiss so shit is going to hit next episode, but I was thinking that Eve would end up dead like that prosecutor lady that no one likes, not even the viewers. Chick is really annoying.

So Nate won't be prosecuted which was a good call by the judge because the prosecutor lacked the evidence and really didn't know who to pin the murder on. Since the case is over before it started, the unlikable prosecutor is now moving onto another case, the adopted children who murdered their parents, where the unlikable prosecutor will end up dead right outside the adopted children's house. Turns out in 2 months time, Annalise will be bleeding on the floor, Connor will be trying to stop her from bleeding out claiming it always Annalise's fault, Wes will be running away from the house only to run back into the house with the rest of the group solely to get Connor to leave Annalise before the cops show up, and the unlikable prosecutor will be dead outside. Oh this may be crazier than their 1st "murder". Hell, this might actually be a murder this time. I doubt Annalise will bleed out to death so we can rule Annalise dying out. I still don't have a clear theory on who shot Annalise or who killed the unlikable prosecutor, but I do think this time around Asher will be involved. They can't keep him the guy who never gets hungover in The Hangover forever. It's time he becomes part of the group even if he's an idiot who let it slip that Oliver was HIV positive right in his face. Acting like Oliver was going to die. Oliver contracted HIV because he wanted to get over Connor and now Connor blames himself for it.

In other news, Michaela probably went out with Eggs 911 which is probably why he wanted to check her phone since it's been established, to us viewers, that he knew Rebecca because of a photo Wes found they were both in. A few have mentioned how close Michaela and Connor have gotten and that they really are enjoying them together. I must say I agree wholeheartedly. If Connor wasn't gay, I would totally ship them, but then again, that hasn't stopped Michaela before so I say go for it. They seemed really close in the flashforward in the way Michaela calmed Connor down. In the last flashforward both of them were spazing, but in this one it's just Connor. Seems like Michaela is starting to get used to it all.

Frank wants Laurel to stop thinking of him as a gigolo and start thinking of him as boyfriend material. Okay, whatever you say Frank. Bonnie admits that killing Rebecca was all for Annalise and her way of thanking her for saving her from whatever. This girl is more twisted than I first thought. Annalise said that Bonnie being around her has only made her worse. All I have to say is that the Bonnie theory is starting to seem more plausible by the minute. But I'm still conflicted if I should root for Bonnie and Asher. I still think they're cute together, but that bitch is still psycho and Asher is still in a tough spot with the unlikable prosecutor since his job isn't over just yet since unlikable prosecutor will be going up against Annalise in the siblings' case, which just makes me think that Asher did kill the unlikable prosecutor. I think I just created my 1st theory of the season.

The Blacklist Season 2 Finale Review

Hey People,

The 2nd half of the season was so much better than the 1st. I was so close on giving up with this show, but I stuck it out and I'm glad I did because I'm looking forward to the next season with Liz on the run. With that said let's get to the review.

Liz was setup by The Cabal and it turns out that The Cabal has shit on everyone just in case people get out of hand. I loved the twist with Cooper. It's the biggest twist so far for me. I knew Cooper wasn't going to die, but I didn't know how they were going to save him and I hated the idea of a cure happening so I'm glad to find out he was never sick in the first place. The Cabal just made him think he was so he would play ball. Now he has to go save his wife from going to prison and I don't have much hope for him there.

Tom finally left on his boat. Man took forever and a day to leave. I hope his ass doesn't come back. Before he left, the Keens got it in one last time. Someone described it as hot. Nope, more like boring to me. I liked how it was shown, I just don't care for them as a couple. Please tell me his character is done now? I really see no need for Tom anymore. The comments I read about him just want Liz to end up with him. He was relevant before (Liz struggling to keep her life and Red separate) and now it just seems to me that he's useless other than being Liz's love interest. If the writers can come up with some interesting story for him that involves Liz, then maybe I would be okay with him coming back, but as for right now, he's a pointless character.

S2 E21

Recently anytime I watch The Blacklist, I always think I'm going to quit and then something happens either in the middle or at the end of the episode that makes me change my mind. I have to be honest folks, I did not see this one coming at all, but I'll definitely want to stick around to see how it ends.

I thought last week would follow the same formula as usual. Red gives the team a number, Ressler and Liz track down said number, either Ressler or Liz or both get caught or someway somehow lose the suspect, by the end of the episode Red gives Liz another tidbit to help catch the perp, and all works out in end. I almost forgot to add that Liz pushes Red to tell her about her past, Red deflects the issue, and then Liz tells Red she's through with him. That's a TBL episode in a nutshell, but I am liking the whole Liz is being setup by The Cabal. I'm intrigued.

So basically the whole number-of-the-week was all for show to frame Liz. I don't know what to expect for the season finale tonight, but I will say if this is all a set up for Liz to be on the run with Red, I will definitely return for next season. If not, we shall see.

Liz can join Red on the most wanted list. Aww that's so cute. Now if only they can leave Tom Jacob behind. Let the man sail on his boat already. Stop talking about it and go do it already.

Hey People,

S2 E20

I kind of hated the number-of-the-week last week. Every country has their traditions, but I just don't get what's wrong dying without a spouse or someone of the opposite-sex beside you. It was one of the weaker numbers, but it seems like it was an introduction to a badder number yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, Red got his info he needed from a member of The Cabal with the help of Samar. I was kind of half-ass watching this, but when Samar set the man free that got my undivided attention. Once they were in the car talking, I knew it was all a big ruse to get him to talk. Samar is loyal that's for sure. Although, it would have been great if she was a triple agent (she's already a double agent).

Liz is still trying to find out information about her mother and Red isn't planning to tell her anytime soon. Red admits to having Liz's memories erased and something tells me he had to for her to survive. Maybe she couldn't handle seeing her father die and this was the only way for her to cope. We learn that Liz's mother was Russian and so is she. Who would of thunk it? The fact that Liz is already crying up a storm (see what I did there?) already means Red was right to erase her memories. She obviously can't deal. She runs in the arms of her ex-husband, Tom. Seriously, can he get on a boat now and start sailing North.

It seems like The Cabal have their inside man now--Cooper. Sad thing is he didn't even know he was going to be. They have so much dirt on him because of what he's done this past season and what his wife did last episode with the whole leaking government information to the press, they can blackmail him until the day he dies. I wonder how Cooper is going get out of this one.

P.S. There is a funny theory going around that Red is Liz's mother. It would be an interesting twist that I would never have seen coming that's for sure.

Previously On Thursday...

S2 E19

This is all you need to know that happened last week. No surprise that the group was behind Red being shot because they knew once Fitch was shot that Red didn't have the fulcrum. Red already has a medical team just in case. I really don't understand where he gets these people from. What if he was on the other side of the US? What then? When it comes to travel time TBL sucks. Anyway, Red gets his medical team, but the place was compromised and a doctor ended up dead and so Red had to be moved and Liz apparently couldn't think of anywhere else to go other than Tom's new place. Really, Liz? And why hasn't this man gone on a boat yet? I thought we were going to get rid of him. Liz calls an ex-boyfriend, who I'm guessing she cheated on with Tom. He does the surgery for money (I guess love wasn't enough) and of course, that was no problem.

Dembe asks Liz to get the decipher from a house that Liz can't tell Red she was ever there. What's with this house? Is it Red's home (a house and home are different people)? Anyway, before Red went into surgery he asked Liz to find this random ass guy who happens to be the number-of-the-week. He finds Liz at the house and he apparently built the code for the fulcrum. Liz now knows what's on the fulcrum. All we saw was a bunch of pictures. They must be seeing something I'm not. Red makes it through surgery, but the bad guys are coming. Liz goes to the direct source and tells him to call off his men or she'll release the fulcrum to the press. Now he knows Red wasn't bluffing and he backs down. Liz gives him the fulcrum and says she made copies. Why not give him a copy and keep the original? Girl makes no sense.

After all was said and done, Red tells Liz that he did hire Tom, but to only be there as a friend and when he started being intimate with Liz, he fired him. Tom went to Berlin so he could continue the charade and be protected from Red at the same time. I still don't like Tom so I really don't care. Liz now wants to know everything about Red, especially when she finds that picture of her and I'm guessing her father in that house. $10 says Red will notice the picture out of place. She asks Tom for help and I'm just thinking to myself when are we going to get rid of this guy.

See this is what happens when I get distracted by video games, I ignore my duties of television.

S2 E18

I quite liked the last number-of-the-week. I didn't think she was bad. She was going after the 1%, but I was confused on whether she was going after all 1 percenters or just the ones that setup her husband because Cooper said they were releasing the innocent ones and I thought she was just going after the people that were in on the inside trading and those who tried to shut her husband up. Either way, I still don't think she's that bad so I was glad that she got away and Red hired her. Felt bad for her lady love though. I honestly think she did learn to love the woman who she was planning to setup, which is why she couldn't go through with killing her to frame her boss. Vanessa Cruz is awesome and I hope we get to see her in the future.

As for #WhoShotRed, I hope it was Tom just so Liz won't hesitate to kill him. I'll even hope for an meteorite to hit him, anything to get rid of the guy. He's overstayed his welcome for me. No, man stop trying to get back with Liz. You are nothing more than a bad reminder of how bad she is at her job. But my logical guess would be someone who's being blackmailed by Red, so basically any of those rich snobs in the group. But then again, they voted not to kill Red since most of them agreed Red wasn't bluffing about having the Fulcrum even though he was, but now he actually has it so who cares. Maybe it was the one who back stabbed Red by killing his insider in the group. He has nothing to lose since Red said he was going to take him out.

Will Red live? Of course, this show would be nothing without him. I actually can't wait to see him get revenge on who shot him. As for Liz, she finally knows the truth about Red inserting the annoying Tom in her life, and once again, she said she was through with Red (how many times has it been now?), but then Red got shot, so I doubt it will stick, not like they ever do anyway.

S2 E17

When I said that Tom Keen could continue to lurk around Liz, I didn't mean he had to be in every episode. Any scene of him was pointless except for the end when he scared Liz half to death. There's this huge debate right now on whether Tom and Liz should get back together. Some people believe Tom is just as bad as Red and it would be hypocritical for people to accept Red, but not Tom (even though Red never directly kills innocent people). Some also believe the only person Liz has chemistry with so far is Tom. While I would usually agree with the latter, after watching this previous episode I could now add Ressler as a contender. Liz did, after all, share her self-made wine with him for her birthday and Red did say to share it with someone special. I thought she was going to share it with Red.

I'm more on the no side for the Keens to reunite once again. Tom stands for everything Liz hates and what, she should put that all aside just because he was her husband? Their entire relationship was based on a lie. I think Liz would be more of a hypocrite if she gets back with Tom and as others have mentioned, she would be considered weak as a character to choose love over principle. To those who think this is a drama and that's your reasoning, remember emotions are emotions so no matter how fucked up the reality of a TV show is, you can always relate to a character. I really hate that argument: it's a drama, so let it happen. If a drama stops making sense then it's no longer a good drama anymore.

Had to get that off my chest. Case-of-the-week starts now. So a regretful scientist was experimenting on human beings so he could fix up his fiancee. Yet, he told his supervisor that he was working on a way to extend human life. Everything needs to die people. Nothing should last forever. Anyway, Red wanted the scientist because Red thought he could help Liz remember what she had forgotten, which would lead him to the fulcrum (even though Liz already found it). But his results were made up so his superior wouldn't defund him, but since nothing was working, he offed himself.

In other news, Cooper found out just how much power Connolly has. I'm pretty sure Connolly was behind Cooper almost being kicked out of the clinical trial. Sad part was Cooper backed down from his threat. I don't like scared Cooper.

S2 E16

Someone should give me a medal. I hit that theory right on the money. It's been almost 2 months since I wrote my theory and last week it was proven to be correct. It was heavily implied that Red did in fact kill Liz's father and has been protecting her out of guilt ever since. But the chat he has with Liz also reveals that Red can never replace what he took away from Liz. I love how the show made Liz, a Red. Now maybe Liz will understand why Red chose her and why whatever she may say to him will never make him go away.

So usually I'm always rooting for Tom Keen to get killed, but he may be starting to grow on me, not much, but just a smudge. I'm still not down for the Keens to get back together, but I don't mind him lurking around. Something tells me Liz will never get over Tom murdering an innocent man even if it was for her benefit. Yes, Red kills, but he kills other baddies. Tom taking an innocent's life will always stay with her even though she didn't directly kill the guy. Liz setup a scholarship for the victim's daughter, but as Red said, "it's just a nice gesture".

I'm wondering what Tom will do now that his undercover gig has be blown or maybe I should say shot up to death.

In other news, Cooper's brain tumor is decreasing in size so the trial is working. It's not like I was worried that he would die, but it would be bold if the show went there.

Reign S2 E16 Diary

S2 E15

I don't mind recap episodes which is basically what The Blacklist did last week with a mix of a case-of-the-week. I don't mind it at all even though they're only in the 2nd season so it may be a little too early for one, but still whatever. What I do mind is how you tell a recap. If Liz was telling this all to a therapist that would have been fine, but when a judge was asking her questions that had nothing to do with the case, I wanted to to shoot him. Most of the time I was yelling at him saying, "What does this have to do with the dead guy?" The judge even says, "Maybe we've gone off topic." No shit. I hope someone kills this judge tonight because he's been nothing but annoying. I don't understand why Liz didn't just say she was holding Tom as a hostage to get information from him on the whereabouts of Berlin and he killed the guy because he knew she couldn't do it. No other information needed and it's the truth. Like seriously what does The Fulcrum have do with this? Okay, I'm done.

Anyway, we find out Tom was trained to be in deep undercover and that's all he's ever known. Red hired him to watch over Liz, we still don't know why >:| but Berlin paid double for Tom to look after her for him. In the end, Tom fell for Liz and now Tom is in Germany doing #whothefuckcares.

Dembe suggested some truth to Red--tell Liz everything. I hope Red actually does because I don't know if I can go another season without knowing. It would feel too much like Pretty Little Liars and how they will never reveal who A is until the series finale and by then #whothefuckcares. I don't want TBL to go down the same road.

But seriously, even if I didn't particularly like parts of this episode it's still a good show and I'm enjoying this half of the season more than the first half. If any of my readers haven't started this show and are interested, tryout this episode and you'll be caught up. It explains everything that has happened previously.

Reign S2 E15 Diary

S2 E14

Just when I think I'm done with this show, it just pulls me back in.

Number-of-the-week: We find ourselves dealing with people who have too much money and therefore waste it on crap and people. The King family has been rich for 200 years. Quick tidbit I did not know: by the 3rd generation 90% of the wealth is gone. You know what that means? Rich people really can become poor. Anyway, our team is sent to stop an auction of selling people and crap that the Kings hold. Money must do weird things to people because the father had his two sons dueling it out on who would be left with everything by letting them play Russian Roulette after every auction with the loser pointing a gun to their head and pulling the trigger. By the end of it, one of the sons should have died, but since the proceeding was interrupted by Red and Liz, it never happened. Instead, the father gets the bullet when Red takes the gun from the son and pulls the trigger. What are the odds that the father was going to get killed? 1/6

Red and Liz had a sweet moment. I'll sum it up for you.

Liz: When someone saves your ass, you should say thank you
Red: Thank you
Liz: You're welcome
Red: Never do it again, you dumb biddy

My version may not be sweet, but it was a nice moment because Liz admits that she cares for Red and in his own way Red admits he cares for her since he didn't want her risk her life to save his.

As for Cooper, well man isn't doing so good. He has days to live with a huge tumor in his head and I'm not really sure if he's really going to make it next season unless the treatment miraculously saves him which is possible in this show. Since Cooper's friend helped him get into the trial, the friend is now asking for favors. Shut that down Cooper! You don't owe him anything. Getting into the trial was so you could live, not so you could serve him.

In other news, Tom is back and boy do I wish he wasn't. My least favorite scene was Tom and Liz talking about going undercover and Tom telling Liz some pointers. I really don't understand how she could have had that conversation. It should have gone like this.

I hope the writers don't put them back together. I don't know how that would ever work and there's no way in hell Red would allow it, which makes me love Red even more.

Not Showing This Week

S2 E13

I can't believe I didn't think of that as a reason why Liz wouldn't hand over the Fulcrum, but in my defense, I wasn't thinking she was going to hand it over in the first place. Red seems to believe the reason Liz doesn't want to give the Fulcrum to him is because if she does, Red wouldn't have any use for her anymore. He's probably right on the assumption, but I think Red loves her and would still stick around. Do I know the reason why? No, but hopefully by the end of this season we'll get some answers as to why Red is so protective of Liz.

Case-of-the-week: The Blacklist does its cases right. I'm usually intrigued by them and this one is no different. A woman takes over her late husband's work of killing people and instead focuses in on murdering men who abuse women. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't crying over the souls of these men so I was kind of on her side a bit, but she couldn't admit to herself that she had become her husband in the process which was true.

I knew right from the get go that Liz would be captured because either Liz or Ressler always gets captured. Anyway, Liz tried to strangle the copycat killer and what we got to see is Liz becoming her husband--a killer. Granted, Tom killed an innocent man and that woman was far from being innocent, but she didn't think twice of not killing her and if it weren't for Ressler barging in, she would have killed the exact same way Tom did.

Speaking of Tom, he's back tonight. Here's hoping he dies because I think his story line is played out.

Hey People,

S1 E13

I definitely wasn't disappointed with Cicely Tyson. She brought her A game and I knew she would. Anna Mae Annalise and why she is the way she is. Annalise didn't grow up in what you would call a happy home. Ophelia made it sound like rape was a common occurrence to the women. Annalise was raped by her uncle, who died in a fire set by Ophelia. Annalise may not think her mother should win any mother of the year awards, but one thing she can't deny is her mother protecting her at all costs. I think this shows hope to Annalise and proof that if her mother could get away with murder maybe so can she. Anytime there was a scene between Tyson and Davis, they had my undivided attention. I don't know how they commanded it, but they just did. Through their scenes together, we found out a lot about them.

This brings me to my problem for the episode. What's with all the sexism? I just kept thinking Ophelia was just stuck in her old ways and that's why she thinks men only take things and women care, nurture, and love things and given the fact of how she grew up and only strengthens her accusations, but I understand why she thinks that way even though it's not true. Not all men are takers and not all women are nurturers. Then you have the case-of-the-week which deals with a female nurse raping a male patient. I thought it was a great case when I heard it, but was disappointed when I found out it was all a set up so the hospital's lawyer and the patient, who happen to be lovers, would get a payout. This had so much potential to showcase a rape case where the male is the victim, but it just turned into another female is the victim. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the case was dropped in the end because she was innocent, I just wish the writers went there and showed that men can be rape victims as well.

In other news: Annalise wants to be Nate's lawyer; Wes doesn't trust Rebecca because she lied about what happened to Rudy; Rebecca has a tracking device on Wes's phone (weird to the extreme!); Connor let's the group meet his boyfriend (I'm pretty sure they're going out now, especially when the bf said "I love you" to Connor); Michaela is worried about Nate because she doesn't like setting up an innocent man; Bonnie won her 1st case without Annalise and celebrated by having sex with Asher in the parking garage (WTF!); and Laurel is a great liar, who knows Wes/Rebecca situation.

Tonight's episode will be the 2 hour finale so make sure you watch because it will start an hour earlier than usual. You know this season finale will be a roller coaster. Expect a review afterwards.

Not Showing This Week

S2 E12

Why do Ressler and Keen always get caught? I'm shocked that everyone decides to keep them alive. They seriously should be dead by now. Anyway the case-of-the-week was quite interesting. A cult gets murdered in their own backyard by the boys that were excommunicated. The logic was really flawed. Small group of people, probably all related, having kids. The men would take 3 wives and it just so happens that the population was skewed male. So bye, bye went some boys, but they would eventually take revenge on what their leader did to them. Polygamy, pedophilia, and incest, I wasn't really crying a river when the leader and the adults got killed. The children did make it out alive though so there may be hope for them (with a lot of therapy).

We still don't know what Cooper has, but it's very bad, so bad, he needed to get in a trial, which a friend hooks him up with. As for the safe that Red was looking for he found it along with the help of his DMV buddy (they make a funny duo) and inside was a card. The eppy ends with Red calling the number and talking to someone.

S2 E11

Case-of-the-week: A man who tried to save his people by taking a CIA agent as his prisoner so it would gain the attention of Americans. A leaking pipeline was making people sick, but in the end, it turns out it was the collaboration of an American pipeline and an Uzbekistani that caused this epidemic. Red had his endgame in sight the whole time. He would get rid of the American pipeline and replace it with a French one. New pipeline, sick people compensated, bad guys go away, and Red makes money for making the deal. Win, win.

Meanwhile, the guy who was killed by Tom on the boat was discovered and now Liz is in some deep shit especially since the big guy who babysat Tom is now talking.

Also, Aram couldn't help Liz with whatever she found in that stuffed animal, but he did say it was holding audio. My guess is Red is on that tape.

Did anyone else notice Ressler dropping hints of lovers' quarrel between Red and Liz? He even asked Red if he was in the doghouse. I just hope they aren't father/daughter or that would have been all kinds of weird.

The Slap Pilot Review

S1 E12

I swear, just looking at Connor gives me panic attacks. I'm worrier too, but I do all my worrying in thought, not spewing so loud that Annalise would hear.

Case-of-the-week: I'm actually getting sick and tired of Annalise winning all the time and the way she won this one made me roll my eyes. I couldn't figure out why the guy would talk. He had more incentive not to talk because if he didn't, he would have gotten his green card. If this man was supposed to lay low, then why is he posting on Facebook. Just made no sense, but whatever Annalise is a genius and all that and she wins cases. This show should stick to what it does best--covering up murders.

I'm hoping that we won't just see the Keating 4 + Rebecca all sitting together and worrying the whole time because that's all we've seen them do so far when they're not working a case. Well at least Wes is trying to solve the mystery of the last owner of his apartment. If they didn't have Annalise, they would have been caught by now, but I still don't get why she's protecting them. I know she said it was because of her they're in this mess, but I'm just not seeing it at least not to this extent.

Bonnie has figured out everything and one thing I'm not getting is how did she figure out the kids were the ones who murdered Sam. Everything else connects the statue, the carpet, and she may have gotten Connor because of his car being there, but how everyone else? Is it because Connor said he was with the gang and therefore they must be covering for him. I'm going to go with that because nothing else makes sense. So is Asher now the only one who isn't in on it? No one should tell that douchebag. He would just yell it to the world. We already know he can't deal with injustice as we saw from the previous episode before this (wife abuser/kidnapper/rapist).

I will say this folks, I was shocked and stunned that Annalise and Frank setup Nate. I just feel so bad for this guy. He really didn't do anything wrong and I bet this will be the case Annalise loses. I guess she will only lose when it's convenient for her.

Guess what? Mama is coming home and I can't wait to see Cicely Tyson.

S1 E11

This is the first time where I actually was more intrigued by the case than what else was going on. At first I was on the defender's side. When she admitted to stealing a baby to protect her for harm, I was still on her side, but when the baby girl is locked up and is basically treated the same way her husband treats the other girls, she became a monster. I know she was basically groomed this way since she was 16 when she started to be abused, but no excuse. Glad Annalise dropped her.

We go to see what Team Keating did over break. I'll break it down for you. Annalise was drunk, Wes was having nightmares/opened letters not addressed to him, Conner becomes less of a slut, Michaela is now single, and Laurel was sent to her room.

Frank stole Conner's car so it could be crushed and was behind the New York decoy, which is now pointless since they found Sam's body at the dump. Sam's sister is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Before I get into the episode last week, I just wanted to say I'm glad I'm not the only one who is frustrated and also intrigued by this show. Also, when it comes to ratings The Blacklist didn't do that bad for the night. Maybe it can make it on its new night after all.

Okay so basically last week was about retrieving Liz's memories of the night of the fire. The whole episode was a waste because she doesn't remember a damn thing and since this probably wasn't her first go around at this type of therapy that deals with memories, she doesn't even know if what she saw was real or if the people were in the right roles. Like I said, a waste.

Liz always thinks she's done with Red, but she's never done with Red so who is she trying to fool. There is definitely some type of relationship Red and Liz share other than the Fulcrum because there is no way he only cares about her for that reason.

I shouldn't say it was all a waste because Liz was going through her old stuff and found her stuffed animal, opened it up and found a small box inside. Now this is most likely the Fulcrum everyone is after. Here's the thing 26 years ago, info was generally on floppy disks and there was no way the info was on something that small back then. But whatever, I'll accept it. I wonder what Liz will do with it.

In other news, Cooper was told info relating to his health that we still don't know anything about, nor care about since it's not affecting his job and Aram and Samar are cute together.
