Hey People,
Do or Die Week is over and these are lives that were claimed:
I liked Red Band Society because it had heart and I would have continued on with it if it weren't for ratings. I guess people don't want to watch sick kids every week. The ratings are really horrible, I would argue so bad that it will take a miracle to save it. I can just tell there won't be a 2nd season and you know I don't like cliffhangers so I have to say goodbye to this show.
The Mysteries of Laura was also another show that I did like. I continued watching because it was funny. I mean really funny. Surprised that it isn't a B99 type show. Anyway, you know I'm not a fan of procedural and I thought that's all this show is going to ever be so I dropped it. However, if it does make it to it's 2nd season, someone let me know if they create some mythology for this show. I will definitely come back if they do.
They said that if you liked The Good Wife, then you will definitely like this show. The thing is I didn't. My parents seem to like it though. I don't know I just don't like being reminded or real life problems watching a TV. TGW to me is more personal and mythological in its approach and I know it wasn't always like that (TGW started as a procedural), but it was always about Alicia and her personal life with a mix of the case of the week. Madam Secretary is more case of the week and a little bit of mythology which seems to me will take forever to dive into more. I'll probably continue to watch because my parents watch, but I don't think it's worth writing about. That could change though.
Scorpion is a great show, I just hate all the characters in it. There's not one single character that I care about. If they all burned in a fire, I would say, "Who do we have as replacements?" That's why this show is not for me. I think the concept is great except for "the interpreter" I think she's useless. There's not one thing she can do that "the behaviorist" couldn't do better. This show is actually doing great in ratings so it's not going anywhere I just don't care to see it.
I just wrote a review about this show as to why I think it should be passed, but I'll just some it up for you. I was really looking forward to Stalker. However, I was totally let down by it. I knew the new detective was stalking his family and the case of the week was kind of boring to watch to be honest. The only thing I really liked was Maggie Q's character getting a new stalker that's going to be interesting. I'm actually shocked how I wasn't shocked in the premiere since this is a Kevin Williamson show. You think I would be a little bit scared, but I wasn't at all. I just wasn't impressed enough during the premiere to continue.

Monday Recap
Hey People,
I really like this day only because I sample all of the Big 4's shows in one night.
This is the premiere of Castle and I have to say I want this story to be over quickly, but something tells me that's not going to happen.
I don't like cliffhangers and I don't like finales that end with them. Sadly, Castle ended with a cliffhanger and can I add an awful one. A car accident, really? That's all I could say as I watched the end of the 6th season. Why? Because everyone knows he's not dead, so why even do this story line?
I know a lot of people were upset that they didn't get married, but I'm just glad they're together. We should just be happy just with that. Because didn't it take Bones this long just to get them together? Anyway, if they do get married, what comes next? Another kid. That I can wait a very long time for unless I get moments like the one with Cosmo. But let's see what they come up with for the reason Castle was abducted.

I'm so glad she got rid of the hair. She looks bangin' with it short.
With that said, let's talk about the last episode real quick. So Red married the queen of Weeds. That's actually a really cute couple. I knew I knew that actress from somewhere, but I couldn't place her until I looked her up and she was the girl in Red that's kind of funny now that I think about it. Anyway so the guy from Prision Break is going to be sending Red pieces of his ex-wife every episode. How come he couldn't start off with a piece of hair or something? Start small and then work your way up.
BTW, let me just say Krysten Ritter did a phenomenal job playing the girl having two different identities. I just loved her performance.
So what will Red do now? More importantly what will Red think of Liz's new "haircut"?

Scorpion Pilot Review
Hey People,
Okay so I just finished Scorpion. Yes, I know very late with it, but I'm making my way through the reviews. So before I adventured into this show. I decided to take a peek at what people were saying about it. Most were very positive and even saying it was just as good as Gotham and so I thought okay, maybe this show has some legs to stand on. When I finished, I came to the conclusion that it was better than I originally thought (I didn't think much of it to be honest), but it also wasn't as great as people were making it. Let me explain.
Summary: A bunch of geniuses get together to help out the government, but they need help communicating with the non-geniuses in the world. That's where diner girl comes into play. Her son is a genius, so a deal is made. She helps them communicate with the world and they help her communicate with her son.
Now I wasn't too thrilled with the premise even after I found out it's based on a true story, but as you should know by now, I give every show a shot. Okay here's the thing about this episode, now maybe I missed something while watching that someone can tell me later, but why didn't they just land the plane? I know the planes couldn't land because they were afraid of crashing into another one (so did they just circle the whole time? And how does circling avoid crashing into another plane?), but when they did get in contact with that one plane why didn't they direct them to land and then get the old software? Instead they did that ridiculous plane and car connection cord thing.

My Monday Lineup
Hey People,
I have so much homework :'( but that's not going to stop me from watching some of the most anticipated shows of the season tonight. What am I going to watch? Well you curious cats, let me tell you.
The most anticipated show of the season, Gotham, is tonight! We all know the story of Batman, but we never really spend anytime with him as a boy. The time is now.
Apparently, this show will be like Smallville (but hopefully better)--we will never see him in the black suit. And just like Smallville, they have created a new character played by Jada Pinkett Smith, Fish Mooney. A lot of known actors and some newbies as well, so I wonder how good this cast will be.
I have no idea what's in store for this show, but I can't wait to see what happens. I believe this show is the only one, I have high hopes for, so please don't let me down.
I love Catwoman, so I had to choose her poster over everyone else.
Red is back people!
Ever since the show ended last season people have been debating on whether Red is Liz's father. To tell you the truth, I don't think he is. Why? Well for one he told Lizzy that he would never lie to her and she flat out asked him is he her father and he replied with a no. Now before you jump my bones over the whole reveal about his back, I will say this, he was definitely there the night of the fire, but I think he was there to save Liz and gave her to the man she called Dad. I honestly think he either tried to kill her father or he was one of his henchmen and her father told Red to take her away, or a mixture of both. I think Red has been watching her ever since and is probably infatuated with her. That's my theory.
Hopefully we'll find more out later this season.
To tell you the truth, I'm not looking forward to watching this even though it's based off a true story. It's like Heroes except without he superpowers. I thought the trailer looked bad, but I learned long ago never to judge a show off of a trailer and I at least like to watch a show once before I decide how good/bad it is. So I'm going to give it a try.
I only know "Over It" girl ( I really like that song and it's kind of stuck in my head right now).
If you don't know already well let me tell you. This show is about a couple of geniuses that help the government stop bad guys from doing bad things. So it's like a cop show, but instead of cops solving the mysteries and saving the day you have ordinary people, who just so happen to be geniuses.
We'll just have to wait and see with this one.
I have yet to be amazed by a pilot, so hopefully that streak ends tonight with one of these premiers.
