Forever Series Finale Review

Hey People,

It's sad to write series finale because I totally want to write season 1 finale, but I still haven't heard of anyone picking this show up even with a petition going on. If any network could save this show it would be the CW because Warner Brothers owns the show and they own half of the network, but nope, nothing so far. While I could write about my sadness over losing this show, instead I will write about the almost satisfying ending. Yes, I said almost because there was one thing I really wanted to see, but I'll get to that later.

This finale was pretty solid for the most part. We got to see Adam's true intention on finding Henry. Who would of thought it was because he was too much of a bitch to test his own theory on himself. No, let me get someone who's also an immortal, torment the crap out of them, threaten to kill anyone in his life that he cares about, find the weapon that first killed him, give said weapon to him to use it on himself, and if he doesn't, then I'll pull the the trigger on him myself. Like I said, he's a bitch. I am confused on how Adam got Henry's gun. Did Adam never give Henry the right gun or did he take it out of the safe? I'm going to go with the latter since Abe did say he went out for a bit and I was wondering by the end of the episode how he knew Henry would show up in the river.

Forever Is No More

Hey People,

I knew this day was coming, but I held onto hope that maybe they would renew, but they haven't. I didn't even get a chance to see the finale yet and I heard it was good, but left on a cliffhanger.

This could have been the replacement for Castle, which by the way has been renewed, but Stana Katic has yet to renew her contract. The show might be back, but the players may not be.

Anyway, I'm sad to see this one go. If any other network would pick it up, it would greatly be appreciated by this fan.

Hey People,

S1 E21

Wow definitely the best episode so far. It was just packed with a lot of emotions. To those who thought Abigail might be immortal, you'd be wrong. Woman is dead and man was she a good woman. Died protecting Henry from being discovered by Adam. Well done writers. It made sense and I got the feels.

There was a case-of-the-week in there, but compared to Abigail no one really cared about the judge who tried to cover up a car accident 30 years ago because a girl he had sex with had a boyfriend, who was now sheriff and killed her by accident and Abigail was the nurse, who took care of the girl's injuries because the girl was scared of her boyfriend with a gun. It was all about Abigail for me.

The season finale is tonight and I wonder if Henry will tell Jo about himself. She obviously noticed how much Henry cared for Abigail more so than he should have. I hope he comes clean. As he said, he trusts Jo.

S4 E21

The Wire actors are just everywhere. Still in the 3rd season. Back to POI. I'm trying to decide if "Asylum" or "If-Then-Else" is the best episode of the season. Last week, we had 3 stories going on at once.

1) Control was trying to plug up the leaks that Samaritan planted. Interrogated a mother, whose a teacher by day and handler by afternoon. She informs Control about The Correction or what most people will call it, a terrorist attack created and started by Samaritan.

2) John and Fusco try to protect Elias from The Brotherhood, but The Brotherhood caught them. It was all a ruse and Elias is again one step ahead of Dominic. Now Dominic should know why Elias has stayed on top for so long. Side note: Anthony told Elias to kill him, but Dominic killed Link without a second thought. Just goes to show you that the game isn't just about having loyalty, there needs to be trust.

3) Root and Harold stumble into Samaritan's headquarters and of course they get caught. The great thing is Root finally kills Martine. I loved how she did it and I laughed afterwards. It was swift and quick, just like the bitch deserved. She didn't see it coming. The Machine thought she failed Harold and Root by not saving Sameen and she won't fail Harold again. So she told Samaritan her location in exchange of letting them go.

Now I thought I liked Harper and I knew she had no loyalty to anyone, but that doesn't mean you run your mouth off in people's ears. And did Shaw really turn? She didn't seem like she was being taken by her will. I knew this was going to happen and I'm kind of glad it is because I'm actually looking forward to fights between Shaw and Root. Glad they got Sarah back to do a cameo, maybe she'll come back sooner than we think.

Shit is about to go down in tonight's episode. If there is any show you have to watch tonight. It is this one. Sorry Forever, there is just too much at stake. I have a feeling someone may not come out of this alive.

P.S. I knew that Harper accepted money from someone else, I just didn't put it together that it was The Machine, but still, if someone paid her more than The Machine she would still harp (see what I did there?) so I'm still not sure about her.

S3 E21

I hate these crossovers with SVU because it means the case will be something sexual and I just can't take that stuff. But first let's go over the Fire's episode and then I'll get into the crossover.

So we meet the new PIC named Chili. Love the name and love the girl. I knew I was going to like her and as soon as the house gets over Mills leaving, they'll grow to like her. She seems down to earth from what I can tell. Casey told the ex-firefighter to go shove it when the guy starting lecturing Casey on where he can and cannot be. Something tells me this isn't the end of this story. 

Dawson saved a man's life, who was trying to take his own life and Otis thinks Rice is a dodger aka a person who has the job firefighter, but doesn't get into said fires. When Severide found out boy was he pissed. There may be truth to the story, we shall see.

Case-Of-The-Week

Fire: Someone tried to burn down an apartment that had a woman, who was just raped. It turns out to be a case SVU worked 10 years ago and now it's happening in Chicago. 

PD: They find the guy and know it's him, but they can't stick anything to him. By the end of the episode, he kidnaps Nadia and is on his way back to NYC.

SVU: Nadia ends up dead and since she's the only good case out of all the cases against this guy since this is the only one where he admits he was there to, they use it to prosecute him. All it took was for him to show his true colors and he was found guilty.

When I used to watch PD, I remember Nadia and I liked her then and was happy to see her clean and working at the police station. Too bad they killed her. Overall this was probably the best crossover this season because it flowed so well. They should have just done it in one night to be honest, which is probably what will happen next year amongst the Chicagos. Weird seeing Alicia's brother (The Good Wife) as a killer.

Previously On Tuesday...

Hey People,

S1 E8

So Deena finally caught Annoying Girl aka Calista and now she's locked up. The sway didn't kill her so she must have a power and I'm telling you her power is to annoy the shit out of people. Deena and Walker also found out that she and the dead detective's son were behind the Kaotic Chic video that went viral and they knew exactly where the boy was going to be. When they tracked him down to an event held by Retro Girl, things got out of hand when Zora's handlers thought it was a good idea to stage a fight between Zora and a known villain. The boy got in the middle of it and his mother, one of the handlers, tried to protect him, but she was just another casualty in a war, even if it was staged.

Now the dead detective's son is an orphan (I think I'll call him orphan from now on. I still refuse to call him Krispin), Retro Girl wants to quit her day job because of shit like this happening, another power is dead because of sway, and Royale finally found his lighter that Walker had all along.

I did like this episode, but what I liked most about it was the back-story of Walker and Royale.

S2 E3

Elizabeth and David are separating, which is a surprise to no one. I know some people are upset with Elizabeth calling her a hypocrite because she cheated too, but she's not mad at David for cheating, she's mad at what became of the cheating--Lori entering their lives. Once David knew of Lori being the kidnapper, he still didn't come clean. So now Elizabeth and David will take turns being in the house. Elizabeth needs some time to think if she can forgive David.

Speaking of forgiveness, Taylor is still upset with Max for trying to forgive Crash. Now I understand Max wanting to forgive, I wouldn't be against it, but he doesn't have to be buddy-buddy with him. Taylor has it wrong though. You can't dictate what someone wants to do. Taylor has no say on who Max should forgive. It has nothing to do with her. She should be mad instead of him becoming friends with Crash. I think friendship is a little too much, especially when Crash is unwelcomed in the house and he shows up anyway to see Carter. Seriously, Crash has had so many chances, can't he just go away? I know Carter has this need to fix everything, but I think some things shouldn't be fixed and should be left alone. Carter tries to fix Taylor and Max and that went to crap. But I'm glad they didn't get back together because then it would just make Taylor look like she doesn't know what she wants.

Because of the anniversary of their grandparents, the family had to go to the party and now they will forever be known as the twins where one was kidnapped and the other was drunk, but I like drunk Taylor so I don't mind. Taylor lashed out at Carter for trying to fix her relationship with Max and for the grandmother's friend, who works for admissions at Stanford, practically begging Carter to go to Stanford and ignoring her. But in the end all is forgiven. The grandparents know everything now except for David's affair with Lori.

Speaking of Lori. she has been trying to call the girls from jail to talk to them, but neither picked up until the end when Carter told Lori to leave her and her family alone. Carter has come so far. Also, it was so weird when Armadillo asked his father why he wasn't dating his teacher assistant. Does he not want his parents to be together? I also caught the TA looking at Armadillo in a weird way. I don't trust that TA at all.

S1 E20

This was a good case-of-the-week. At first I liked it because the ballerina wasn't dead, so this would be the first case that actually wasn't a homicide, but since the press was all over it, they had to work it. I'm actually shocked that Henry automatically assumed that the ballerina was dead. I didn't think she was. When you have no body that automatically means to me that maybe the person isn't dead. Anyway, the real twist comes in the end when it is revealed that the ballerina was behind the whole thing just so her name could live forever as the ballerina that could have been the greatest. Damn, that was good and I knew once it was revealed that they would've never been able to prove it. So chick walks free, or more like strolls free since she made her brother, who ended up killing himself (run then jump when you're trying to jump rooftops), caught off her own leg.

As for the flashback, it tied in nicely with the case-of-the-week. A french artist took heroin to inspire her artwork, but it ended up killing her in the end. At least her work will live forever.

As for that moment between Henry and Jo, I won't think much of it for now. I don't think Jo knows what she's feeling yet and I don't think she feels anything for Henry yet either. I just think she knows that rich guy wasn't for her and maybe a guy like Henry is what she wants. Usually Abe is cool with his timing, but boy did he cockblock. At least he found his mother. I hear tonight's episode will be about Abigail, so I can't wait for this to get settled on whether or not she's immortal. I don't think she is.

Henry decides to hold off on trying Adam's theory of killing himself with the weapon that killed him the first time because there's a difference between wanting something and actually doing it.

S3 E19

Last episode was the backdoor pilot for Chicago Med. I never really cover cases-of-the-week for Chicago Fire because I more interested in the firefighters than them putting out fires. However, since this episode is not the usual, I'll give it a mention. A man who works with infectious diseases planned a terror attack on the hospital by using himself as a weapon. Except he forgot to lay low for awhile so the disease could spread throughout his body so it could affect other people. You would think a man who works with diseases would know that, but whatever. Severide got hurt, but he was saved.

In the end, no one caught the disease, not even the guy who had a piece of bone stuck in him from the bomber, which I find odd. Anyway, everyone celebrated at Molly's and Dawson and Casey hooked up. They agree this doesn't mean they're getting back together. I sure hope they don't.

Overall, not a bad episode. I would like to see Chicago Med standalone before I commit to it. As for tonight's episode of Chicago Fire, I hope we get to see more Otis being infatuated with Brett.

Previously On Tuesday...

Hey People,

So I have a lot of shows on Tuesday now and it doesn't help that 4 of them are on at the same time.

S1 E6

I was confused for a minute if Walker really did take Wolfe's power or at least some of it, but Royalle confirmed that he did indeed take it that's why he's trying to extract sway from users. Sway is too powerful of a drug.

Deena is still mad about Walker locking her up in a cell and the fact he took sway. She needs to trust her partner because her father basically fucked over his partner and got him killed.

I've been calling him the dead detective's son because I couldn't remember his name and now that I know it's Krispin, I think I'll continue using dead detective's son. He sleeps with annoying girl, well there's a shocker, but the honeymoon ends rather quick when annoying girl finds out the video they taped earlier was released and Chaotic Chick released it making it seem like the hero, who was trying to stop them from tagging, killed the people in the car accident. Annoying girl wasn't having any of it even though she sampled a few moments before.

Retro Girl figures out Walker is the one who took Wolfe down and since Triphammer's main goal in life is to get drunk, he tells a story about the Black Swan. Now, Retro Girl and Walker have to figure out what that is. Then all of a sudden Wolfe appears on TV giving a statement of how he wants to be drained completely because it's the only way for people to be safe. All I can think about is what is Wolfe up to and why doesn't Walker know he has powers? Did it wore off? Maybe that's why he was asking Trippy all those questions that he was too drunk to answer. Also, Triphammer is trying to get another Drainer to work at the police station, but for some reason it's not woring. Retro girl doesn't like the idea of the Drainer. She thinks it's a ticking time bomb. If I had to guess, the Black Swan is a permanent drainer, which is exactly what Wolfe would be looking for.

S2 E1

I love how you can tell that time has passed between the last episode and this one based on everyone's hair being longer and how Armadillo is taller than Carter now.

I'm a little upset with myself that I got the theory wrong, but in my defense, I did mention the theory that turned out to be true. Lori is the crazy egg donor lady that now wants her kids back and thinks abducting one of them to get the attention of the other will work. She does not think her plans through. It's anonymous for a reason lady.

Lori ends up going to jail and Carter and Taylor are safe at home, but everything has changed. Now the truth is out and Taylor needs some time to deal with her biological mother being a psycho. On the plus side, Elizabeth is the only mother Taylor knows and she's the only one Carter wants. I love that line.

Max is back and he's here to stay! I'm happy that Maylor is back on, but I have to say, I thought their breakup and makeup was too quick. Why did Max change his mind all of a sudden? He's been dealing a lot with his accident, but he seems very distant from Taylor. When a woman invites you to her room and a guy says no, you know something's up.

S1 E19

Ugh, why is Jo still going out with that rich loser? She can do so much better. Anyway, he wasn't around much so I really shouldn't complain. The case-of-the-week involved a cold case of a woman who was stuck in a wall for 30 something years and is finally found. Turns out she had some rockers child and didn't want to burden the rocker because she wanted him to focus on his career, but then she changed her mind and did want to burden him, but the man who helped her get sober and clean didn't want her to go back to the rocker and so he killed her and kept the child. The rocker was sent to jail for the murder because everyone thought he did it.

Henry is dealing with his abandonment issues. We find out that Abigail all of a sudden left Henry and Henry was determined to find her, but Abe told Henry to move on after a year of her missing. But by the end of the episode, we find out Abe is just like his father. He hasn't stopped looking for his mother.

Some people are speculating that Abigail is immortal based on nothing. I don't see the show going there, but who am I to say it can't happen. The Abigail mystery will be resolved by the end of the season.

S3 E18

I will never doubt my theory again. Brett and Otis might actually get together. For some reason, I'm more excited over the prospect of them than I ever was with Cruz and Brett. I love how Otis concluded that he was in love with Brett. I feel like Otis pining over Brett is going to be hysterical. Though I was thrown when Cruz broke up with Brett, but does it really matter who broke up with whom? Pride is a funny thing.

Peter Mills is fit for squad once again, but I doubt he will get it. I like Rice and I love Warren Christie so I hope he stays on the show. I guess it all depends on if viewers want Rice to stay because I know Christie wants to stay. Maybe this will create drama for Mills on whether he should stay in Chicago and keep the job he doesn't want or work in the family restaurant in North Carolina, which he also wouldn't want.

We found a lot out about Severide. His father slept with his teacher in high school. His mother checked into what I'm guessing is a mental facility and so with nowhere to go, Severide stayed with a friend's family. The thing is once senior year started, he acted like he didn't know the girl, who talked to her parents for him to stay with them. They haven't been the same since. Now the girl works for Chicago Med and Severide is trying to make up for lost time. We already know a romance will start soon with these, but I'm actually enjoying their friendship and think they shouldn't go there. Severide needs a friend since Shay died and I guess I'm still holding out for his wife to come back too.

But the main focus of the episode was Herrmann and how he hates parents who abuse/neglect their children. A father, who started a fire with a crack pipe, came away unscathed, but his young son died at the end of the episode. So now he shouldn't be charged with just arsonist and child endangerment, but you can add murderer to the list as well. This case reminds me of a real life situation where the father let his baby of a son smoke. It's true what they say, some parents shouldn't be parents.

Tonight's eppy I believe is the backdoor pilot of Chicago Med. If all goes well, it will be another spin-off for NBC.

S4 E18

Oh no, KISS OF DEATH! Anytime there's a kiss on this show, especially from John, the woman he kisses will end up dead. Iris is going to die y'all. But before I dive into this mess, let's go over the case.

We had the pleasure of seeing Katheryn Winnick (Bones, Vikings) playing as Frankie and man was she awesome. I would totally be on board if they brought her into the show full-time or even part-time (I mean girl has a black belt). The case wasn't that unique--Frankie wanted revenge for the killing of her brother--but the ending was. Note to self: when making deals, make sure to listen to the wording of phrases and never trust Harper. In the end, the bad guys were caught and as much as Frankie likes the idea of Reese in handcuffs, she knew he was a taken lad.

Speaking of Harper, The Machine has her on speed dial. Harper is working for The Machine and she doesn't even know it.

As for Finch and Root, Finch was going on a date with conference woman, who works for Samaritan. She was going to implement her code into Samaritan, but Finch created a backdoor in Hong Kong in her code so they could kill Samaritan from within. The thing is once Finch turns it on, his cover would be blown and he would end up dead. Root can't handle another death in her family, not after Shaw, so she decides to kill the woman. Finch doesn't want another death on his hands so he takes poison that Root was going to kill the woman with. Root backs down from her killing plans and somehow Finch makes it to the hospital in less than 10 mins. Root instead discredits the woman's work and frames Finch so the woman wouldn't want to continue seeing Finch anymore. Finch said he needs time to get over what Root would have done and Root leaves. Hopefully, Root can come back sooner rather than later. I don't like it when both Root and Shaw are out of the picture.

As for John and Iris, Iris you are a dead woman walking. Iris confesses her feelings for John even though she's not supposed to have any because he's her patient, which is why she referred him to another therapist, but chick don't care. She basically said fuck it and kissed John anyway and now she's going to die.

I swear, anytime I finish an episode, I just want to watch the next one right after. Too bad I can't because I watch it weekly. This is such a binge worthy show. Anyway, there were some people who didn't feel for this episode. I wasn't one of them, but they did have some good points. The Root and Finch situation was a bit of a stretch. Root killing someone to save someone she cares about was understandable especially since what has happened this season, but Finch taking poison is just something that Finch wouldn't do even to prevent someone he cared about from dying. Some people don't like Harper. I get that, but Harper does what's best for Harper not what's great for the world and I don't think people should hate on her for that. Now some say they felt more chemistry with Frankie than they ever felt for Iris. This I don't agree with. Frankie and John would have seemed rushed to me but Iris had a slow build and I like relationships like that. However, now I'm skeptical about Iris because some people think she's a Samaritan operative and if she was that would have been something I did not foresee. It would be interesting if she was, but oh so sad for John.

Previously On Tuesday...

Hey People,

S1 E18

Well this was quite an intriguing case that intertwined with Henry's turmoil. Henry has always believed that his immortality was a curse. He first died by trying to free slaves from his father's ship, but died in the process. But what he didn't know was he dropped the key to free the slaves and they took over the ship and sailed north to live as free men.

The case-of-the-week involved a slave descendant of the ship (Cuba Gooding Jr.) and he too was fascinated with the slave ship so much so that he actually found it. The problem was a girl's brother died trying to find the ship and she wanted revenge on the people responsible. Obviously, she was caught by the end of the episode, but what will be continuing on into the episode tonight is the date Jo and the descendant went on. I have to say, I'm not really feeling the love/chemistry between these two. He just comes off as rich douche, but that may be just me, but I highly doubt it. I don't see what Jo sees in this guy because there's nothing there.

Adam buys the gun that killed Henry the first time and Henry must help Adam find the dagger that first stabbed him. Adam believes that the first thing that kills them could break the "curse" and they will finally be able to rest in peace. Now that Henry holds the gun that may in fact kill him (which I highly doubt), he starts to notice the clock ticking, meaning he's starting to notice time passing. His days may be numbered.

S1 E5

Okay so I'm a bit confused about some things. What the hell is Zora's power? So now light can cause force? I know they mentioned Powers aging slower than ordinary people and that's why Walker looks older now since he lost his powers and Retro Girl and Wolfe looks the same, but what's Royalle's excuse? Man has aged just as much as Walker. And can Playstation please hire someone from Nikita so they know what a good fight looks like. It's not just about punching and kicking. The CGI needs work and the flying/levitating does as well.

Now that I vented, I'll continue with the recap. After everything I've said about the show, I still enjoy watching it because even though it has many faults, it still has a good and entertaining story. The acting isn't bad either. Last week, it seemed as though Walker has taken Wolfe's powers because of the sway he took before. Hopefully, he doesn't go crazy too. Wolfe is locked up in his jail cell and Zora is credited for saving the day, even though she did jack shit. I don't even hate her for it because as we saw in the flashback in 1994, Walker and Royalle took the credit of stopping Wolfe then, even though they did jack shit. So it just seems like the only true heroes in this show are Retro Girl and that guy who is half man and half machine.

Royalle wants all the sway taken off the streets and wants the names of everyone who took it. Does he know the effects of sway? Does he know what Walker has become? Meanwhile, annoying girl and the dead detective's son met up again and this time the boy introduced the girl to the idea of Kaotic Chic. Maybe this girl will become a real hero after all, represent the ordinary people, and dawn the name Kaotic Chic.

The public knows about Drainer and now Powers have something to fear.

Previously On Tuesday...

Hey People,

S1 E4

Who let the Wolfe out? Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff. Man that song brings back memories. Okay so it turns out Royalle has been visiting Wolfe for months to create Sway. Wolfe is Sway. But because Wolfe was picked in the eye too many times, he developed a tolerance for it and therefore started becoming stronger. Now he's out of his cage and running rampant feeding on people to gain more power. The episode ends with him feeding on a Power, which isn't good people.

Meanwhile, Walker took Sway, which is really stupid to be honest because he knows that thing kills powers. Now he's throwing up and walking like a Walker on TWD. Haha Walker's a Walker (it's funny, at least to me it is). He finds Wolfe, but Wolfe seems to be in his own world. I'm guessing being under the weather for so long has messed up his head. The fact that he eats people is already messed up to begin with.

Retro Girl flew off somewhere to help with a hurricane, but #whothefuckcares If this shit goes south which it seems like it already has, she won't be there to save the day. Zora, on the other hand, wants to be the hero and thinks this is her big chance. All we've seen this girl do so far is play with some blue blocks. I really don't get her power. Apparently it has something to do with lighting.

Royalle and Walker could have prevented Wolfe's killing sprees if they did what he asked them to do years ago--kill him. Royalle was planning on running (like he usually does), but Annoying Girl talked him out of it and to take responsibility by killing Wolfe in return she'll stay with him. Annoying Girl was actually not annoying in this episode, she actually became interesting when she made Wolfe agree to help her kill her father. Now who is her daddy? Wolfe goes back to the prison, but gets stuck in the Drainer so now he's stuck in a cell. That was a quick fail.

As for that power hater kid, he and Chaotic Chic are planning something to get revenge for the kid's father. Well more like she's planning something for him to thank him for getting revenge for her last week. I swear they are going to start a movement #powerhaters

S1 E17

I wasn't really all that interested in the case-of-the-week, but it did get a nice twist in the end that I much enjoyed. It was about a bunch of hackers that had the key to the city by having all the codes to get into any system they wanted. Now here's what I don't get. Why would a some cyber agent hand over the codes just like that? Was the sex that good that she was just like "Here are the codes baby. Now let's get married?" She obviously gave them to the hacker, I just don't understand why. Anyway, so this hacker group got the codes and when the hacker who slept with her dumped the agent because he got what he wanted, she killed him and started in on his posse.

So when the real girlfriend was next on the agent's list she wanted to disappear and needed her death certificate. That's when Henry comes in. The girlfriend knew Henry was a fake (even though he really is a doctor just not from this century) and so she blackmailed him. But Henry has a code he lives by that the girlfriend, nor the agent could persuade him to break. In the end, the girlfriend does a solid for Henry for saving her life and catching the killer by fixing up his records so no one would know the difference.

In the flashback, Henry meets his first wife, Nora, after she put him in the asylum and she now believes Henry to be immortal since she's old and he's still sexy as ever. When Henry didn't want to go public, Nora tried to prove it to people by shooting him, but she shot the nurse instead (probably on purpose if she knew Henry was banging her). Off to the asylum she probably went.

S4 E17

Well that was a twist for us. Let's start with the case-of-the-week. A therapist who lost his wife 8 years ago due to someone murdering her is now a vigilante who gets revenge for his patients. That would make a great comic. I'm just saying. But when the man who went down for the murder gets out, the therapist puts to work a plan he's been planning for years.

At 1st I thought I liked the therapist (me love vigilantes!), but then I thought he was a perpetrator because he was planning against the man he thinks killed his wife. Then Reese and Fusco wanted to let the guy go through with his plan, but I was on Finch's side. We didn't know for sure if the guy did it or not and besides he already served time for it. I'm guessing he got out for good behavior. I thought the therapist was going to kill the "murderer" once I saw his neighbor take the dog, but in the end, he turned the gun on himself and for some reason I didn't see that one coming. Finch talked him out of it telling him not to ruin the good memories, revenge isn't the answer and some other type of bullshit. And so the therapist backed down. Yet, I like how the show leaves it in the air on whether the guy killed his wife or not. We will probably see the guy back in an episode in the future.

Meanwhile, Reese got closer to his personal therapist by telling her how he lost someone he once loved and how he doesn't know how to deal with grief.

There was no Root and obviously no Shaw so this episode seemed more like a season 1 type and I was expecting a little bit more after how things ended the episode before this.

S4 E16

You have to read this (POI section) before we get started.

It's like POI read my mind and said we're going to bring Caleb back. I didn't even know it was him. I only knew that it had to be someone they brought back because of the music that was playing when they revealed the head honcho of the company. I googled and that's how I found out. Man looks good 2 years later.

What I feel, POI brings to life on my telly. We not only see the old players, but we're getting new ones as well. Harper (not her real name, but whatever) is the female version of Robin Hood. It would be real cool if her name turns out to be Robyn. However, instead of stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, she steals from rich drug dealers and gives to herself. She only steals from criminals so you can't hate on her for that, but when she steals from Dominic, you best believe he's going to want his money back.

In the end, Dominic was impressed by her and even extended an invitation to join him. She has no allegiance to anyone so who she team up with is still up for debate. She's for herself, so I'm guessing she'll go for the winning side. Finch stole her ring, which even though she said it didn't mean anything to her, you could clearly tell it did, so she'll definitely be back in a later episode.

I seriously want a Team Machine. It'll be like the Justice League, where they can save people around the world and not just New York. It would be so awesome.

Meanwhile, Root is back and I'm not sure if the killer app was just something to get her through Caleb's door (most likely it was), but whatever Caleb is working on, The Machine wants in. Could Caleb be building another machine? Have I told you how much I love this show?

S3 E16

Bye-bye Chief Hater and hello Boden. I have to say I'm glad Boden's wife got sick of him and he's back, but I wish they would have come up with a better way to get rid of Chief Hater. I hate how everything comes back to the house being sued. This isn't the first time negligence is being claimed. Honestly, even if it wasn't a bad call to remove Truck 81 from the scene, the guy went in there even when the Chief told him to stand down. It's not negligence when he went in knowing the risk so I was kind of upset when a case was being created against them for that reason.

Welch may be a sexiest, but he's truthful. Even though I hate the guy I wouldn't mind if we saw him again in the house. Like I said before, he's a good firefighter.

I thought Beth could keep her mouth shut, but I guess not. Casey is done with her anyway. Well that was quick. As for Dawson, she went on a double date with Cruz and Brett. It didn't work out, but if Dawson only wants a friend, Mills is available. I'm just saying.

Speaking of Mills, he might be returning to Squad. If he does, who will fill in his place? Hopefully, Rafferty. I do miss her and wonder what she's up to for no reason at all.

Mouch lied to everyone and told them he met with his biological son. I'm pretty sure Trudy figured it out. It's up to Mouch and if he didn't want to meet up with his son, I don't blame him. It's anonymous for a reason.

I'm just throwing this out there, but when Brett told Cruz she would take Otis since Cruz felt uncomfortable about the double date, I was kind of on board with them being together as a couple. I don't really care for Cruz and Brett as a couple, but it doesn't bug me either, but Otis and Brett would be rather cute. It would definitely create a lot of drama if Otis started to fall for Brett and they share a moment together. Think about writers.

S1 E16

I always wondered how Abigail and Henry dealt with their relationship when she grew older. Every thought she was a cougar. I guess back then, they didn't have an awesome name for it so it wasn't looked at as something good.

As for the case-of-the-week, the roommate from hell did it. Girl was crazy and wanted to be like her roommate as much as possible, but she didn't approve of her friend changing on her so much and eventually killed her.

It was nice to see Iona again. Love the chemistry between Henry and her, but because Henry was grown genuine feelings for her, he can't continue to see her anymore. He doesn't want to risk someone he cares about dying in front of his eyes by aging. He did it with Abigail and he can't do it again. So he breaks things off with Iona. I seriously think that was the best breakup ever. No hard feelings at all. Iona even tells Henry if he decides to not like her anymore, then give her a call. Aww, she's so understandable.

I'm not going to lie for a second I thought Iona was the killer when we knew it wasn't the victim, who showed up that night, but I'm glad it turned out the way things did because I would have been upset if Iona was the killer.

S3 E15

Casey has moved on and moved up in the food chain by sleeping with the ex-wife of the new chief of Firehouse 51 since Boden is on furlough because his father passed away. I say screw it or more importantly screw her. The ex-wife wants it and so does Casey, it shouldn't matter if it's his ex. They are exes for a reason. Besides, she's willing to keep it a secret so why don't they just keep everything on the DL?

There's also Welsh, the sexiest douchebag. He's back and is filling in for Newhouse until he gets back. I hate his guts too, but the man is doing his job and as long as he's not causing a stir, I don't mind having him in the house. I don't think this counts as a stir, but he innocently told Dawson who Casey was sleeping with. Girl was definitely not smiling after that news.

I knew that high girl from the previous episode before this was on something other than weed. Way too jumpy. Anyway, when she's not high she actually looks pretty good. Too bad she has a mom who's not really concerned about her well being. Brett tries to give her a guitar she lost when she was high, but the mom tells her she needs to learn responsibility and that things cost money. I understand the mom for that, but apparently she didn't even want her daughter to get treated because of how much it costs. When it comes to life or death, money shouldn't matter. But Brett decides to keep the guitar so the girl could stop by and play anytime she wants.

The new Chief was riding on Otis's ass, hard. I didn't laugh when Otis fell because I remember doing the exact same thing on ice, I fall way too often to laugh at someone doing the same. Otis doesn't like the new nickname the Chief gives him--Gutterball--and for the first time ever, I was scared of Otis. Man can be really scary when he wants to be. Who knew?

S1 E15

Case-of-the-week: A man dies due to radiation and it turns out this man is royalty. In the end, a man who stamped passports for a living killed the victim because of what his royal family did to him. Apparently, it wasn't all sunshine where they lived. The murderer tried to kill the whole royal family i.e. his wife, the illegitimate daughter, and his grandchild. When you go after babies that's just wrong. However, Jo and Henry were there to stop him.

Meanwhile, now that Abe knows his real name, he tracked down his entire bloodline. The remarkable thing is Henry and Abe are related. Abe's bloodline goes all the way back to Henry's uncle, so they share one of Henry's grandparents. It was a really cute moment and I'm glad they can really call each other their actual kin.

Flashback: Henry and Abigail honeymooned on the Orient Express and Henry finally decided he did want to have a child with Abigail. I wonder what happened there.

Remember Iona the dominatrix? Well she's back tonight! So glad the decided to have her back.

Not Showing This Week

S4 E15

After 2 weeks of just Finch and Reese (like back in the days season 1), I have come to realize this show has definitely grown from the duo. It just isn't the same without Root and Shaw. I understand Shaw not being there and all, but you at least have to give me Root. Luckily for us, she showed up at the last minute to save Finch.

Case-of-the-week: A worker bee during the day and a MMA fighter at night is the target of the week when she learns a Siri type app is giving back answers that could lead to someone dying just so companies can make a buck. The owner was behind it all.

I noticed now that anytime something goes bad in this show, I always blame Samaritan even when it's not her fault. I just automatically assume it, but as we saw last week with the school, Samaritan isn't all bad. It does do some good. It's just that Samaritan makes decisions for us and that's what I don't like. So even though this case started as a regular case-of-the-week, it really wasn't as we saw in the end when Samaritan took advantage of the company by saving it before it went under for the poor decisions of the owner. Now Samaritan is the new Siri.

For most of this episode, Finch and Reese are separated. Reese dealing with the number while Finch dealt with a previous number--Claire. This was pretty funny to me because right before she revealed herself to still be working for Samaritan, I said to myself, "If she's still lying I'm going to be totally upset" and I was upset. She may start having doubts now that she knows she's expendable, but she's cried wolf too many times and me thinks it will bite her in the ass in the end. I didn't know if Root would show up to save Finch, but that's all I could hope for and luckily that's exactly what happened.

It seems since Shaw is gone they've been having guest stars to come back and I like it. I'm hoping that great coder that Finch gave a code to him to solve from way back when comes back too. I still wonder what happened to him.

Not Showing This Week

S3 E14

Obviously the lady who stole a baby last week was crazy. I mean, who leaves a baby out in the cold like that? A crazy person. But now Dawson is baby crazy. She totally wants to have a baby now and she would make a great mother, the only thing is she's not in a relationship and Casey has definitely moved on.

Severide was offered a new job, which he should take. It would be nice to see the investigation side of fires. It's also nice that CF doesn't forget about characters that left. Shay is still missed and definitely not forgotten...yet.

Brett and Mills had to deal with 2 teenagers on weed. I don't know what kind of weed makes you scratch people so much. That girl must have been on something else because she was way too jumpy for someone to be high off weed. Eventually, the firefighters come in and help them out.

Boden's father passed away, but at least he went out the way he wanted to--happy. I'm glad he got his party in the end.

S4 E14

It's always a pleasure to see Fringe actors in my TV shows. The case-of-the-week involved a retired teacher who was being blackmailed to vote guilty of a husband who allegedly killed his wife. Our team didn't know the teacher was going to vote guilty because they thought she would vote not guilty. When our team found out, they instantly knew the husband wasn't fixing his case, but the actual killer was. The man blackmailing the teacher was also on the jury, but it was an associate of the company that hired him.

In other news, Reese and Finch agree that they won't let anyone else into Team Machine, but they also can't revert back to the 1st season when it was just them. They can't do it alone. I'm glad they admit it, but sad that Zoe nor Silva will be added to the group.

Reese and therapist sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. No, they didn't kiss yet, but like Zoe said Reese definitely has a crush. I like the therapist, but when it comes to anyone who's not in the group, I'm always skeptical about if they work for Samaritan. As of right now, I do like the idea of them, but this show has a kiss of death streak, so if they do kiss, she'll die that same episode. Romance is not a POI's forte. Zoe thinks Reese and her aren't meant to be in relationships, but like the therapist says try things new. Start a new tradition. Maybe he'll open up to her. I just hope it's not like Banshee.

At the end of the episode, they realize that Dominic is probably the one behind Elias's missing goons. Time to get back to work. Root is still MIA.

Previously On...Tuesday

S1 E14

Adam was back, but he was on his best behavior. So I'm guessing the family pictures, wife, and the whole story about him moving to America because of his wife's job was a lie then. Too bad, but it wasn't necessary because in last week's episode, we saw a human side to Adam as he tells his story about his days at the Auschwitz.

The case-of-the-week involved a great man who was trying to right a wrong by his Nazi father by returning stolen artifacts, but when his son realized all his money problems could go away, the son attacked and ended up killing this great man by accident. Adam also killed another man who was working with the son to stop the shipping of the artifacts (see what I did there?)

Adam left a gift for Abe--a registry. Abe was able to identify his name and his parents name. He finally got to see a picture of them :)

Also Henry has to look out for a certain knife for Adam to payback for what Adam did for Abe. We also got to see a sorta nice flashback of Henry's father. I say sorta because Henry's father was in the slave ship business because of debt. Henry didn't know and lost respect for his father, but when his father was dying, Henry was there for him and that's when Henry's father gave him the pocket watch.

S3 E13

Last week, Casey and Dawson put their romance on hold and told themselves they would revisit down the road. You know that's not gonna happen because one of them is going to fall in love with someone else, while the other one will be the fool and keep waiting.

Brett and Cruz celebrated their 3 month anniversary, only to be interrupted by Otis's grandmother because Otis's g-ma now lives with them. I don't care if there is a language barrier, she could clearly see she wasn't wanted in that room. Girl did it on purpose.

Boden is still dealing with his father dying, but maybe we'll get to see that party they were talking about last week. I only worry that his father will take matters into his own hands. He did say he wanted to go out in his terms.

This episode was focused on Shay and what she meant to the team. It was a nice send off for the character.

On Chicago PD, the cops got tricked twice by Shay's killer. They didn't even know his real name until the last minute. He targeted Gabby, but big brother was there to save the day. At least, we got to see a police car blow up and the Sergeant acting nice, which was really creeping me out.

S4 E13

Shaw is back! But not really. At least we know for sure now she's alive and at some point Shahi will definitely have to come back to finish her story line at some point.

Anyway, last week was another great episode. Root and Reese were at it again trying to find Shaw by following the only clue they had--a truck. It lead them to a place called Maple. It was Samaritan's lab, where it would tests human's reactions to certain situations. Samaritan was studying human behavior. Of course, Root and Reese shut it down, but their first priority was Shaw. They went guns blazing and were willing to torture anyone holding them back on finding her. What they stumbled on was tech that would track computers and human's brain activity. Creepy. They found out they were following a girl that wasn't Shaw, but was being used as a lab rat. Bad people dead or injured and the girl saved.

Back in New York City, Fusco teamed up with an old partner Reese had. Silva is back! If you read my recap of the first time we met her, I said I wanted to see her again and I'm glad we did. Silva and Fusco tracked down a killer that looks like a hermit who you wouldn't think twice he could hurt someone. I wouldn't mind if she was added on The Machine Team even after Shaw does come back. She can partner up with Fusco since Reese is never around to do his job and Fusco has to always cover for him.

After Maple, Reese and Finch are ready to move on from finding Shaw and focus on stopping Samaritan, but Root doesn't want to stop looking for her. She asks her god for help and The Machine answers, "STOP". This is really interesting because we don't know if Root will follow the orders of The Machine. She has always done what she was told, but this is the first time she may disobey. Damn, girl has it bad! She tells Finch goodbye. We can't lose all the females in the show, so she'll definitely be back, but for how long will she be out for? Will she go on another rampage? Will she disobey orders? All we know is she's need time. Meanwhile, Shaw is recuperating from her injuries and the British geezer is keeping her company.

S1 E13

The week this episode came out it was my favorite out of the three I watch tonight because it was so personal to Jo. We got to finally see Jo's husband and witness her grief. We saw a glimpse of it in the 1st episode, but this time it was in full swing so the case-of-the-week took a backseat for me because I was much more interested in learning about Jo's husband and how she deals.

Case-of-the-week: A guy was killed so a cop, a jeweler, and a thief could split the insurance on stolen diamonds. They would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for the cop being an idiot and shooting in the wrong angle and basically just talking too much. Cops, such amateurs when it comes to thievery.

Jo had a hard time dealing with the case because her husband was the prosecutor who gave the victim a 2nd chance. Jo is still in the grieving period, but at least she knows she has Henry there for her.

Will we see that young Asian boy back working at the shop? I think that would be cool addition to the show.

S4 E12

This epic trilogy ended on a sour note for me. I guess the high from the previous episode before this couldn't be sustained.

Last episode, we saw what Control has been up and they're still following orders blindly. They work with Research (aka Samaritan), but Control is slowly figuring out that Research is keeping them in the dark.

Root and the gang are searching for Shaw and still believe she's alive except for Finch, but at least he's helping with the search.

I really didn't like this episode. Maybe it was because The Machine Team was MIA until the end and all they were doing was looking for Shaw, which I expected, but I wish we got the see them in action instead of just hearing about it on the news.

I wonder if the rest of the episodes this season will be about finding Shaw. I mean I miss the girl, but if I have to wait 2 years until she's back I rather they not go down this witch hunt and be reminded of what I'm missing. Just in case the actress decides not to come back, POI needs to prove it can still carry on without her. Hopefully, the lead that they have will actually lead them to something else.

S3 E12

Last episode was a slow burn. Casey and Dawson are still awkward as ever around each other, but they were dealing with their own shit. Casey was wondering the whole entire episode if he made the right decision on who to save first. Everyone was fine in the end. Dawson and Severide did their own investigation in the building Shay died in. Turns out it was arson.

Peter Mills and Brett dealt with a domestic violence call. In the end, Mills ended up snapping at the husband and threatened to kill him if he laid a hand on his wife again. I guess he has a lot of issues since someone was set to kill him and maybe still is.

Boden's father is in town and helped take care of the baby. They thought he was there to see the newborn, but it turns out he has stage 4 cancer and only has months to live.

Otis, and Cruz helped Herrmann form a little league hockey team and are there to supervise him if things get out of hand.

There will be a Chicago crossover starting with this episode tonight. That means, Chicago Fire tonight, Chicago PD tomorrow. Again, I will watch both for you.

For POI, the trilogy ends tonight.

S1 E12

Henry has been out of the game for over 3 weeks, trying to cope with the fact that he took another man's life. However, due to Abe's war buddy's son being murdered, Henry decides to work the case.

Case-of-the-week: A would have been whistle blower was killed for his attempt to reveal the company's Ponzi scheme.

Jo notices Henry doing everything possible to stop the perps from fleeing even if that means standing in front of a moving vehicle. Jo has been down that road herself since she killed someone this past season and says being with Henry helps her cope. Hopefully, Jo can do the same for Henry.

Flashback: Abe had been drafted into the Vietnam War and decides not to run away from it like his parents wanted.

Is Jo's partner officially gone now? I didn't mind the guy, but he was kind of useless.

Person of Interest S4 E11 Review

S3 E11

Dawson and Casey are on a break and Dawson decides to leave the apartment in attempt to fix their professional careers. Hopefully this leads them to officially breakup since I think they make better friends and I'm still rooting for Mills and Dawson. Dawson will now be staying with Brett.

Last time, we were left hanging with Mills and Brett's life hanging in the balance. It was a setup by the boy's father that Peter Mills saved. The father obviously still blames him even though it's not Mills fault. Eventually, Brett and Mills were saved, but the 2 guys who kidnapped them weren't talking. Brett cashed in her chip from the helicopter save from a previous episode. Mills was able to talk to one of the guys and what he said convinced him to tell the truth and now the father was arrested, but like the guy said, I don't think the arrest will be the end to this story.

Boden's baby had problems breathing on its own, which almost lead to more complications like brain damage. In the end, everything was fine and Boden finally got to hold his child.

The last save of the day, Dawson notices a newspaper cutout of Shay in the storage unit they put out the fire, it looks like an arsonist's lab. Most likely someone set the fire Shay died in.

Hey People,

My 3 favorites for Tuesday start battling it out again. Hopefully, Forever can do better in ratings this time. One can only hope. Apparently, Person of Interest is also dwindling in numbers, but I'm still not worried about it yet, especially when we're in the middle of the 3 night event. Chicago Fire is putting the norm to shame by actually increasing their ratings this year so far. Just goes to show networks that shows can increase their viewership overtime, if you give them a chance.
