Penny Dreadful Season (Series) Finale?

Hey People,

I'm trying to understand what just happened right now. As you know, I haven't been blogging as much as I used to, but I haven't stopped watching shows either. Actually, I basically dedicate each weekend to binge watching a show. Luckily for me, I was in the mood to watch Penny Dreadful this weekend and it just so happened to be the season finale. Or was that the series finale? Let's just get into it.

I'm confused. I cried. This show has a way of doing that to me sometimes, but I blame that damn music. It's so damn good. But back to the point, Vanessa died, so of course I cried. Her hero finally shows up to save her and she asked to be killed instead--to end her misery. And so he did even though he loved her and was willing to fight for her. How could you not cry? Now as a storyteller I could totally see why the writers would go down this road. It makes sense. The only way for the Devil and Dracula to stop coming after her and the people she loves is for her to stop existing. But here's my thing. I'm not mad or angry like I usually am. Instead, I'm disappointed. We have seen Vanessa have sex with the devil (that scene alone trumped Grey's Anatomy sex with a ghost by a mile) and this season we saw Vanessa having sex with Dracula, so why the hell were we denied sex with the hero, Ethan? 3 seasons! 3 seasons and nothing.

Penny Dreadful Season 2 Finale Review

Hey People,

I am not satisfied with this ending. This goes back to what I previously have said on another show, usually 3 things happen in a finale:

• A major character dies
• Shit hits the fan (explosions, fighting, or revelations)
• The calm before the storm (the setup episode before shit hits the fan)

A major character died last week, shit hit the fan last week, and the calm before the storm was the episode before the penultimate episode. You see my problem? By the end of the episode, I was thinking this wasn't a finale, but a premiere. Yes, I know it ends with everyone going their own way, but that was the only thing t
hat had a finale element to the episode. Everything else felt like a premiere to me. 

The fight between the witches doesn't last long, which was kind of a let down. They might as well have ended it last week. Eva Green really does have chemistry with anyone. Her and that doll, that's all I have to say. I'm not sure if she killed Lucifer or just made him shut up by destroying the doll. Either way, it ended with Mrs. Poole getting old real quick and Ethan finishing the job. Vanessa finally saw Ethan for what he was and she wasn't scared of him at all. But even in his manic state, Ethan felt shame and scurried away. Lyle isn't dead! Comedy lives to see another day! He ends up shooting a witch. Victor and Sir Malcolm are released from their suicidal thoughts once Mrs. Poole dies and Lyle joins up with them. Sir Malcolm kills another witch along the way. Vanessa joins the group at Sembene's body. He really is dead people, but I think we all knew that. 

Previously On Sunday...

Hey People,

While usually I would be watching Penny Dreadful on Sunday nights and waiting until next Sunday to write, this time I'm doing things a little differently. IT'S THE FINALS!!!!! USA vs. Japan. We beat them in the Olympics and they beat us last World Cup so there is revenge on both sides if you think about it. *I feel really bad for England, especially the girl, who scored on her own team. EVERYONE ease up off of her and give her a break. It could have happened to anyone.* GO USA, with that said, onto the recap.

S2 E9

The show starts off with Ethan's stalker finding him. I don't remember if he was planning on killing him or if he was still planning to take him to the US, but it doesn't matter since he dies by multiple stabbings. We got the point Vanessa. Damn, how many times can you miss the heart?
Anyway, you didn't really see that much of Sir Malcolm since he was still seeing dead people, but Victor makes his way to Vanessa and Ethan to tell him the news of Sir Malcolm being held in the witches' house. Vanessa and Ethan go back at once and it turns out Ethan has another admirer waiting for him. The inspector is getting quite annoying. We get, you're watching him like a hawk, yadda, yadda, yadda. He tells Ethan that his files are being sent over and he can't wait to read them. Seems like the man doesn't know what the art of surprise is.

Lyle confess that he's been working for Mrs. Poole this whole time and no one really gives a shit because who are they to judge. Vanessa is as impatient as Sir Malcolm is. Is he her real father? She wants to go save him ASAP. Unfortunately for them, it's a full moon and we all know what that means for Ethan. I get that Vanessa wants to go save Sir Malcolm, but why the hell couldn't she at least way until day time like everyone suggested? Vanessa is usually smart about these things. It's unlike her to act in such a dangerous manner. Before she did something stupid, she has a heart to heart with Victor about his whore of a cousin Lily and how she broke his heart (and might possibly his limbs if he ever does go home). Damn it Eva Green, in that moment she made me root for Vanessa and Victor. I seriously think Vanessa can get with anyone at this moment, but my heart still wants Ethan and Vanessa.

After Vanessa goes to the witches' house, the guys go after and all of them get caught. What great heroes we have. My friend says that Lyle is dead, but I'm not so sure after watching. I really don't want him to be dead because he's my comic relief. Victor is now in the crazy room with Sir Malcolm, and Sembene is being eaten by werewolf Ethan. I'm pretty sure Sembene is dead unless he has some mysterious gift we don't know about. My friend is upset they killed him because he was the only character left that still needed to be developed. I made my friend tell me who was going to die before I watched the episode and at first she was hesitant to tell me, but I told her as long as it's not Vanessa, Ethan, or Lyle, I would be good. She made a face with Lyle and I was like NOOOOOO!!! After watching his scene, I'm not convinced he's dead. Might I be in denial? Maybe, but until I see that dead body, I'm going to remain in denial. We all know the rule in TV. If you didn't see the body, they ain't dead.

As for what's happening on the side, John Clare is locked up and they won't let him out (song by Akon). I never thought I would say this, but that blind girl is a bitch and I would totally want to knock her lights out if she wasn't in the dark already, if you know what I mean. First blind bitch I've ever seen on TV. Lily and Dorian, I'm guessing, were just sexing the whole time, but what else is new for Dorian Gray? Lily and Dorian came clean about their abilities. I'm surprised Dorian didn't try to kill Lily. Maybe he thought she's already dead so what's the point. Still confused on whether Lily knows about her Brona life. Also, the defiant "daughter" of Mrs. Poole paid Ethan a visit and basically told him she would side with him because he's destined for greatness. Well isn't she just so loyal? She also told him that he's the wolf of God so now he knows his purpose.

I can't believe the season finale is already here. The season finale is tonight so make sure you catch it for me. They have already been renewed for season 3 so you don't have to worry about if it's coming back; however, it will only be 9 episodes next year (1 less than this season). I hope it's because they don't need the extra episode and not because they want to reduce cost. Make sure you check back here later in the week to catch the season finale review.

S2 E8

Just goes to show everyone that Penny Dreadful is just as good when Eva Green isn't in the picture. Although I will admit that I did miss her, the episode didn't fall apart without her. Actually someone stepped up in a major way. I'm talking about you, Billie Piper. And here I thought she was playing the character wrong. Boy was I wrong. Her playing an evil monster is far better to me than an innocent girl.

Lily FTW!

She vows to put an end to Victor's life and calls him the creature so she now knows she's a monster, but what I'm confused on is if she remembers her past. I don't know if she was describing her prostitute life or that one night stand she killed in the last episode. Speaking of that dead guy, why the hell did she stick around until morning? In the beginning of the episode I was screaming "What the hell are you still doing there?" Girl is very dangerous, but is it wrong for me to be rooting for John Clare and Lily together now? At least they share in their hatred over their creator. Victor shouldn't go home any time soon.

Someone called it when they said Angelique wasn't going to make it passed this season. I don't remember what tipped his hand, but he was right. Now I hate Dorian Gray because he killed Angelique. The only good thing that came from this story is now we have seen his painting. Not as horrific as I thought it was going to be.

Meanwhile, Sir Malcolm released himself from Mrs. Poole's hold. Mrs. Poole couldn't control him any longer and I don't know how he figured it out, but he knew Mrs. Poole was the one pulling the strings. I mean, I'm glad he figured it out and all, but he was pretty stupid to go over to her house alone. What was he thinking? I guess rage does that to a person. I thought Mrs. Poole was interesting, but I guess even evil witches get lonely and want companionship. Too bad Sir Malcolm wants to rip her head from her body, but he's willing to put up with her shit if Mrs. Poole stays away from Vanessa, but that's the one thing she cannot do.

Summary:
We finally know the whole story now of why evil people are after Vanessa.Vanessa is a natural witch, who has a demon in her. The Devil, who was cast out by God, did not fall alone. His brother also fell with him. Lucifer went to hell and his brother went to earth. I assume that his brother is Dracula. Apparently Dracula and Lucifer don't get along. Anyway, Lucifer has his witches, while Dracula has his vampires and both are using their minions to lure Vanessa to their respective side because whoever reunites with the demon inside Vanessa first, will be able to start the apocalypse. God sent his hound or as Sir Malcolm corrected a wolf to stop it from happening. The wolf of God is Ethan. By now you should know that Vanessa and Ethan have the feels for each other. I have $10 that says Ethan's purpose is to kill Vanessa. I mean that would stop the apocalypse from happening, right?

Previously On Sunday...

S2 E7

What is with this hut of a house? Anytime we see this place, we get an amazing episode. A whole frickin episode dedicated to Ethan and Vanessa and I loved every minute of it. This makes up for the sex scene we were depraved of the week before. Although some may disagree, I'm happy they still haven't bedded each other yet. I don't mind the wait even though sometimes it kills me, but I didn't feel like last week was the right moment. Maybe because the music was pulling me out of the moment. The music was freaking me out actually. The demon inside Vanessa stopped anything from happening because it knows what's up, but we'll get to that later. Anyway, I like Ethan and Vanessa together because they both have their demons/monsters they have to deal with. If only Ethan confessed about his own inner demon. It may have not been the right moment for sex, but there definitely a moment for him to confess. By the end of the episode, Vanessa got vengeance for the Cut-Wife by killing the guy who lit her on fire. She opened the book Joan told her to open only when she finally turned away from God. Now Ethan thinks Vanessa's soul is forever lost and he was planning to kill the guy for her just so she wouldn't become a nightcrawler like Mrs. Poole. Too late for that.

Summary:
Victor and Mr. Lyle had a great conversation back at the house that summed up the show. I think I got the gist of it. Vanessa is a natural witch, who has a demon in her. The Devil wants this demon as his wife, and therefore, wants Vanessa. If the Devil and the demon unite, the world shall end. Ethan is the Hound of God, aka werewolf, sent to kill the Devil and possibly all bad things including Vanessa. However, Vanessa and Ethan are falling for each other. I love it.

Meanwhile, Victor is still jealous as ever and Sir Malcolm is still being manipulated. Some people are finding it hard to believe that Vanessa and the others can't tell something is wrong with Sir Malcolm; however, I think they do. At least, they know that something has changed and it has to do with Mrs. Poole. As for Victor, he really needs to get over himself, but at least with this creation of his, he created a true monster. Jack the Ripper would have been scared of Lily. I really liked the idea that Lily is evil and not so innocent. Now I can buy the fact that she's so aggressive. I guess I just had to be patient.

Previously On Sunday...

Hey People,

S2 E6

Party, party, party! There was a ball last week and all the players were invited. The writers teased us yet again with Vanessa and Ethan. I seriously thought that maybe Ethan would show up at the last minute, but when I saw that he wanted to be chained, I knew what type of moon was showing that night. Then I thought maybe Vanessa would make it back in time for the transformation, but nope, girl faints on the dance floor before that could happen.

Dorian hosts a ball for Angelique as a coming out party and everyone was there except for Ethan, Sembene, and John Clare. Actually. I'm surprised that when Vanessa was turned down by Ethan that she didn't ask John. She taught him to dance. I guess she didn't think he was a good enough dancer, but damn wouldn't it have been nice to see John, Dorian, and Victor pining after Lily. Anyway, Dorian obviously recognizes Lily since he had sex with Brona last season and Lily has an inkling that she's met Dorian before. Dorian and Lily forget about their partners, Angelique and Victor, for a moment and start dancing with each other. It only took a moment for Victor to become jealous. I'm guessing this is why he stays single. He even pulls Lily to the side and starts reprimanding her. He needs to learn to stay cool like Angelique.

Sir Malcolm, of course, invited Mrs. Poole to attend with him, Her 3 daughters were also there mind fucking Vanessa the whole time. People are starting to notice Sir Malcolm changing. When he was told about his wife slitting her own throat, he was happy. Enough said. Vanessa had a talk with Mrs. Poole stating the change started with her and girl acted like she didn't have a clue what she meant. Did I forget to mention Sir Malcolm shaved his beard? Very suave. I'm used to seeing Timothy Dalton like this.

Meanwhile, Ethan and Sembene are at home preparing for Ethan's transformation and now Sembene knows his secret. As for Mr. Clare, well I thought him and the blind girl would get together, but now that she's freaked out by his cold touch and told her evil parents about it, I take back what I said.

Previously On Sunday...

S5 E8

I heard this was the best episode of the season and I thought it was because of Dany and Tyrion, but nope I was wrong. The White Walkers come out of nowhere and all hell breaks loose. I did not see that one coming, but it shows Jon just how powerful these White Walkers are. Jon's sword must be made out of dragon glass for him to take out a top tier White Walker and I was a bit sad when I saw the girl Wilding become one. But you know what they say about GoT, don't get attached to any character because they probably will die.

In other news. Jorah is cast out again. Maybe he'll get the message this time that he's unwanted. Loved the conversation between Dany and Tyrion and I can't wait to see these two in action. I hope they become bosom buddies.

Arya is still in training and it seems like she's getting really good at it. Have no idea what being an oyster girl is all about, but we'll just have to wait and see. As for Cersei, well #whothefuckcares about Cersei. She dug her own hole, let her rot in it. Although, it would be really pathetic if the King dies of starvation, but it seems like that's exactly what's going to happen.

Sansa found out that Reek didn't kill her brothers and it seemed to me that this new information has given her hope. Her horrible husband is planning to attack Stannis with 20 men. I hope he dies on the mission.

S2 E5

I'm upset. I saw everyone bone except for the couple I wanted to see the most. Penny Dreadful writers are a bunch of teases. With that out of the way, let's get into it.

Ms. Ives and Mr. Chandler are getting quite close and dare I say too close. One minute she's finally opened up about her past and the next she's already in his bed. More like she took it over, but I guess it's understandable when you're scared. Speaking of Mr. Chandler, the inspector is still on his case, but he still doesn't have any concrete evidence.

People are asking why Vanessa didn't recognize Lily/Brona when she had tea with her and Dr. Frankenstein. I don't know what to tell you people other than she doesn't remember. Brona was a brunette with long hair and a heavy Irish accent and Lily is blonde with short hair and an English accent. I know I wouldn't remember someone after one meeting and a dramatic change like that. Anyway it was lovely to see them together and I loved how Vanessa recognized right away that Dr. F was in love with Lily. Too bad for Mr. Clare/Caliban. (I seriously don't know what to do with these name changes. I might just have to go by their season 2 names.) Mr. Clare and Ms. Ives, once again have a nice chat that ends with them dancing. I would seriously root for these 2 if it weren't for Mr. Chandler, but hey I'm still rooting for the blind girl. (I really should remember her name and Eva Green can have chemistry with a cactus if she wanted to. She's that good.)

Dorian Gray and Angelique are still as cute as ever, but I really hope they start to mix with the group later. Dorian doesn't give 2 shits what other people think of them. I don't want another True Blood situation happening like they did with the werewolves.

So in the end, everyone was having sex. Dorian and Angelique, Sir Malcolm and Mrs. Poole, and Dr. Frankenstein and Lily were all boning by the end. Like I said, everyone except Ms. Ives and Mr. Chandler. They just stared into each other eyes and moved on. Oh and almost forgot, Mrs. Malcolm Murray killed herself because Mrs. Poole stabbed one of her dolls repeatedly in the brain so she'd go crazy and kill herself. So basically the scenes went sex, sex, slit her throat, back to sex again.

Okay so I thought I was the only one who thought this, but I'm not liking Lily. I didn't mind Brona. I just wanted her gone so Mr. Chandler could get with Vanessa, so it was for selfish reasons, but Lily is a whole other story. I liked how the show brought back Billie Piper, but I think she's playing Lily wrong. I think Lily is too forward and should be more innocent. Yes, Dr. F is timid when it comes to matters of the heart so Lily had to be a little bit more aggressive than him, but the way she plays the character makes it seem like she knows more than him when she shouldn't if she's asking him if she did everything right during their meet with Ms. Ives. She's supposed to be innocent, but that's not what I'm reading. I wonder if there are more of us out there who feel the same.

S2 E4

Ives and the gang try to piece together the artifact puzzle and figure out it's an autobiography written by the devil. Sir Malcolm believes it's the planning of the future for Ms. Ives. The gang are attacked by witches and escape with locks of Vanessa's hair for some ritual. 

Meanwhile, Dorian is running around with Angelique and playing table tennis. As for Caliban Mr. Clare, he's getting mighty close to the blind girl. Too bad her father is already thinking about locking him in a dungeon. Well if Mr. Clare gets with her than Frankenstein doesn't need to worry about getting with his cousin. Oh, you know what I mean.

The police still have no idea, what's going on, but for some reason the investigator thinks magic is involved.

S5 E7

Jon Snow sets off into Wilding territory to talk peace. Maester Aemon or who I like to call the old blind guy (I could never remember his name) dies. With Jon gone and Maester Aemon gone, Sam had very little friends at The Wall, which is why two guards tried to sexually assault Gilly. Sam wasn't having any of it and he tried to stop them, but it was the growl of Ghost that scared them off. Sam was badly beaten, but Gilly took real good care of him ;) I was rooting for Sam from the fight all the way to the bedroom. You go Sam!

There's no disputing it now. Sansa was definitely raped. She said so herself. Every night he comes (maybe I should have used a better word there) and every night she wishes to be saved. She asks Reek to help her by lighting the candle in the tower, but Reek goes to Ramsey instead. Damn it, Reek! Man is gone. He can die for all I care. I thought maybe he would save Sansa the first night, but nope. Then I thought maybe this time he will, but nope. I'm tired of giving this man chances. I hope if Sansa escapes she kills him along the way. She should pull a Tyrion and Brienne needs to come save her already. I wonder what her and Pod do all day other than staring out the window.

Speaking of Tyrion, my favorite moment comes when Tyrion and Dany finally meet. I love how Dany has no idea who he was. I love those moments when characters finally come together. Jorah offered Tyrion as a gift to Dany. How long until Jorah turns? I bet he'll ask to be killed first.

Stannis Baratheon is still going ahead with his plan to takeover the north even though 500 of his men up and left and his horses are dying. Melisandre tells him to offer his daughter up is the only way to win. What the fuck is this girl smoking? Stannis should listen to Davos and turn back. It's not a loss if you haven't even begun the war yet.

Cersei is an idiot. I knew this was going to happen. Why did she think the Sparrows would help her out and condone her sins as well? My friend says I have a lot of smh moments in my future when it comes to Cersei. The Queen of Thorns is trying to get her grandchildren out of jail and so she teams up with Littlefinger once again.

My friend and I were discussing this and we find the scene between the Sand Snakes to be stupid. My friend finds her becoming naked to be pointless and I can't find a reason why she would give him the antidote. He tried to kill you and you tried to kill him, yet you give him an antidote to save his life. Why? I like the guy, but there was no reason for him to live.

Previously On Sunday...

Hey People,

Did you miss me? Well I missed you.

S5 E6

That was just sick, but we'll get to that. Arya took a big step last week. Even though she may not be ready to become nobody, she's ready to become somebody else. I'm glad the show made us realize that she did in fact like the Hound, so she's not completely dead inside. Side note: Those were a lot of heads!

Jorah found out about his father's fate. I have to be honest with you, I would have never had known about who his father was if it weren't for the Previously On Game of Thrones... This is why they have to sum up what happened in the past for people like me. Jorah and Tyrion get caught by slavers. Apparently, dwarves' cocks have magic powers. Tyrion sure knows how to talk his way out of death sentence. Another side note: Tyrion cock isn't small.

Cersei is an idiot. First, she gets played by Littlefinger, and then she thinks she can win without money. Did no one learn anything from the Bush debacle? Anyway, it was great to see the Queen of Thorns. You don't know how much you miss that lady until you hear her speak. I bet good money that the Sparrow will try to take over the crown. Religion should never rule because chaos will always follow it. Everyone knew Loras Tyrell is gay. Denying it was stupid and so was holding a trial about it. Now the queen and Loras are in jail.

Ramsay is a sick fuck, but we already knew that. Reek had to watch as Sansa lost her virginity. It freaked me out, but at least GoT did it with taste. They could have shown some nasty shit with this, but they didn't. It still left me feeling horrible though. I was hoping Theon would kill Ramsay, but it didn't happen. Sansa Stark, I hope you know what you're doing.

S2 E3

Leave it to Penny Dreadful to make me tear up over a character we just met. They made me like and they took Joan away just as quickly. Not cool.

Last week, was a blast from the past episode. We got to dive more into Vanessa Ives past and how she met her first witch, Joan Clayton. Vanessa was looking for a way to be cured of her curse and she's still looking, but Joan didn't offer her a cure, instead she offered her knowledge. This is how Vanessa became aware of witches, herbs, and how to read cards. She also learned how to talk in the devil's tongue. I'm guessing that she didn't see Mrs. Poole because if she did, she wouldn't have acted like she didn't know her at the seance. Joan was a part of the same covenant as Mrs. Poole until she was kicked out because she didn't want to praise the devil. Joan tried to protect Vanessa, but Mrs. Poole used the town people against her and got her burned, not at the stake, but by hanging. She was dying anyway so I don't know why Mrs. Poole couldn't just wait it out.

Joan wanted Vanessa to stay, but Vanessa still wanted to try and save Mina. Joan left Vanessa her property and something tells me this won't be the last time we see this place.

Vanessa never shared this story with anyone, until Mr. Chandler. One step closer to them being together. We didn't get to see anyone else in this episode and I didn't really care. As long as I get my Vanessa Ives dose, I'm good. #MyLittleScorpion

Previously On Sunday...

Hey People,

S5 E5

Dany is getting married, again. It worked so well last time. She's getting married for political reasons and she's reinstated the arena so free men can fight. I'll settle for anything that gets her out of that hell hole. I need her to start sailing. Grey Worm and Missandei finally kissed. I'm guessing that's all we'll ever see from them.

Jon Snow is going on a trip north of the wall to gather up the Wildlings. He's agreed to let them go south of the wall, if they agree to help with winter. This didn't sit well with most watchers, but they have to deal because if they don't get help they'll all die at the hands of walkers. Stannis has lent Snow ships to help carry them. Meanwhile, Stannis is on his way out to take the north from the Boltons at Winterfell.

Sansa finally saw Theon aka Reek. Rage and sadness filled her all at once. The Boltons should never be trusted, but at least Sansa knows now that if she's ever in need, all she has to do is light a candle in a tower. The back story of how Ramsay's mother was horrific. I hope Roose Bolton dies a slow death.

The episode ends with Tyrion and Jorah. They pass through The Doom and get attacked. Tyrion walks away fine, but Jorah's been touched. Well at least we know he's going to die beforehand. What's the point of going to Dany now? Oh look, a dragon!

P.S. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought Ramsay wanted a BJ from Reek.

S2 E2

So the premiere was basically an introduction to the baddie of the season, who was actually introduced in the first season, but never mind that. Girl is cutthroat, literally.

Last week, Ms. Croft lived! Frankenstein gave her less electricity and so language came back rather quickly. I love how they gave Croft an English accent (Billie Piper's real accent). That's one way to dodge a bullet. Anyway, Frankenstein named her Lilly and told her he was her cousin. I don't know about you, but he's getting way too close to his cousin. It would be incestuous and at the same time, not.

Meanwhile, Ms. Ives wanted to find peace and so Sir Malcolm took her to a place where he finds peace. Think soup kitchen except with cholera. There she meets Caliban or what he's now going by John Claire. Someone is now shipping Caliban and Vanessa together. Umm, no. I love how their stories are starting to intertwine and Caliban and Vanessa's conversation about religion, but that doesn't mean I'm going to ship them. I'll ship Caliban and Dorian before that and that would be a sight to see.

Speaking of Dorian Gray, called it. I thought her voice was very intriguing, but to me, it was also what gave her away. Dorian Gray is once again making the rounds, but is still clinging to Ms. Ives. I hope we get to see Angelique again.

I don't know what Mrs. Poole did to Sir Malcolm, but like it matters, she already has someone on the inside. I'm talking about you Mr. Lyle. Mr. Lyle flirting with Mr. Chandler and Mr. Chandler flirting right back made me think of Mr. Chandler and Mr. Gray. I'm still confused on what happened there last season. Anyway, Mrs. Poole has some photos of Mr. Lyle doing naughty things and is blackmailing him for information on our group.

We got to see a room of Mrs. Poole. Now usually I have no problem seeing dolls upon dolls. It's creepy, but nothing crazy. However, I draw the line at taking baby guts and putting them into dolls and then realizing that all the dolls she has must be of other baby guts and there were a lot! That's when you know this bitch is crazy. She took the baby's guts and put it in a doll that resembles Ms. Ives.

PENNY DREADFUL IS BACK!

I've been waiting for this show to come back for so long. It's like all the greats come back at the same time and they're all on the same night. It's a great night tonight folks.

I know there was an early viewing of the premiere tonight, but I haven't watched it yet. Been gaming a bit lately. I'll probably watch it before the premiere and do recaps for you.

Game of Thrones Recap S5 E1-E4 *SPOILERS*

So who is her? Damn it Cornell, why didn't you just say the name. Okay I know that I've been rooting for Dave to be the killer. He would have been a great killer, but since it's a woman my call goes to Abby. I still don't think it's Christy. I don't think she's capable of it and as violent as Jess is, I don't think she would hurt her child as her sister claims. Besides that talk between Ben and Abby about how she has to take responsibility really makes me think that she's missing to turn herself in.

Christy is a bitch. I can't stand women who won't let the baby daddys be a part of their children's lives. I wish Ben never slept with Jess. I thought he would deny her because of what Abby said and the way she was acting, but nope, man didn't even hold out a little. Turns out Jess is crazy without her meds, but would probably be really great at throwing daggers.

The season finale is tonight so don't miss it. There has been talk that S&L will be renewed, but probably won't feature the same people except for maybe Cornell. If it does comeback I'll definitely be watching if it is as good as this one.

The Affair S1 Finale Review

Hey People,

I know it's been awhile since I've written and I know this review is long overdue (been binging on shows I missed to see what to add to the list) so let's not waste anytime and let's get right down to it.

I've said it before and people have said as well. Why are their stories so drastically different especially when it comes to the important moments? Yes, I know people exaggerate and stories are seen and told differently for each person even if the event is the same, but seriously sometimes they are just totally out of sync I wonder if one of them was high and that's why they couldn't get the details of even the place correct. I mean seriously, how do you not know if Noah was beating up Scotty or not? Or even if one of them wanted to cover up that fact, why is the mother-in-law in one but not the other. This was my general complain for the season, I have a few more.

OMG, the worst character I thought was going to be Martin since the first time we meet him he faked a hanging. Seriously, who does that? But no he was not the worse, for someone passed him a long, long time ago in the season. Her name is Whitney. I don't how anyone can like Whitney. To me she is annoying as fuck. It wasn't the pregnancy, nor the abortion that bugged me. It was the fact that she said she loved him. Ugh, I wanted to throw her over the lighthouse when she said it and the fact that we all know Scotty doesn't give a shit just makes me want to smack her back into reality. I couldn't believe she went over to the Lockharts house. What was she planning to do over there? Become Scotty's wife? I thought I saw hope in her character when she asked Noah about her being a bad person. She isn't bad people, she's just stupid. I hope for next season she's the murder victim and anyone could be the killer because she's that annoying of a character. Hell, if she was killed, they shouldn't even bother finding the killer. He/She did everyone a favor.

Penny Dreadful Review

Hey People,

This holiday season I've been searching for something good to binge on and I found it. Penny Dreadful was amazing! Usually I stay away from dark shows like The Leftovers but for some reason I couldn't look away from this one. Let me explain.

Summary: It's Dracula from a different point of view and diverges from the original story.

Some may have rolled their eyes after reading Dracula, but I can guarantee you this show is not what you're thinking. I didn't even know this show was about Dracula until I read reviews. I didn't read Dracula as a kid, but I did read The Picture of Dorian Gray and seen Frankenstein. The main focus of the story might be Dracula, but other story characters show up as well. I wonder if there will be others in season 2.

I don't want to give much away because this show shouldn't be written about. It just wouldn't do it justice. Instead, it should be seen the way I saw it--binging. I don't know how people waited a week to see the next episode.
