Limitless Season 1 Finale Review

Hey People,

What a great season from start to finish. I don't usually do this but I'm giving out an award. Limitless wins for most consistent show of the year. There wasn't one episode that I didn't enjoy. Okay maybe the first episode, but in my defense, it was mediocre. I'm so glad it grew into its own. I can't see anyone playing Brian Finch other than Jake McDorman.

I have gotten a lot of predictions wrong on this show. I thought Brian's father would die in the finale. I thought Rebecca would grow feelings for Brian. I thought Boyle would take the pill. I thought Brian wouldn't tell Rebecca everything. I thought Brian wouldn't tell his father everything. I have just been wrong on so many levels with this show, but that's why I like it. I can never guess correctly. It's even better when I can't even guess at all. I'm still hoping Brian's father dies. I need something dramatic and also, I just don't like the guy.

Previously On Tuesday...

Hey People,

Catching up on some Limitless, which is never a bad thing so consider this recap a binge on Limitless.

S1 E16, E17, & E18
E16
Brian and Rebecca are working the same case, separately. Sands has to kill everyone a part of his crew back in the day including himself and Brain is brought along to help him find out where Sands's old boss is hiding so he doesn't have to kill any of his old team members (3/5 isn't so bad I guess). Rebecca is trying to solve the case of a missing child. How are they related? This child is Sands's biological child and his old boss has him and will kill the boy if Sands doesn't go through killing his old crew.

Now I really liked this episode because we got a bit of backstory with Sands. I still can't believe Sands was part of a rock band. But anyway, Sands got working for the UK military and they started smuggling. Once they were caught, the crew blamed it on the boss. At first, Sands wasn't down pinning it all on their boss, but Sands fell in love with a woman, who he believes was killed by his boss (women are a distraction) and that's what made him change his mind. Sands ended up working for Sen. Morra when one his crew members got him a job that he desparately needed. Morra said he had work for him and that worked entailed cleaning NZT from the streets--this includes, but not limited to, killing drug dealers and dug addicts. Rebecca's father was an addict. Make the connection. You can do it. Sands killed Rebecca's father. On top of that, Sands has a camera in Rebecca's apartment. Stalker much?

It was also Rebecca's birthday. She hates her birthday because one year her father promised he'd be there for it and he didn't show up. She wished he was dead and the next thing she knew he was dead. He was dead before the wish occurred, but he wasn't such a deadbeat dad like she thought. Funny thing is she was hating all the gifts for her birthday until Brian gave her his gift. Hmmmm, that's all I will say.

In other news, Ike slept with Brian's sister in his apartment. That's just wrong. You just don't do that shit at a siblings place. I would seriously want to live in another apartment if my brother did that to me and unlike Trump, I would get him to pay for it.

E17
Rebecca and Brian get in a big fight. Rebecca finds out Brian was lying to her by raiding his apartment and finding some pills. All she asked of Brian was not to lie to her, but Brian had to lie to keep her safe from Morra. Tough predicament if you ask me. But damn is Brian's sister a sell out. I mean I probably would have done the same thing to my brother, but the whole guy bleeding out on the table business, I probably would have left that out. Because Mike and Ike were in the room, they heard everything about Brian keeping extra pills and this mysterious FBI agent who was bleeding out in Brian's apartment.

Rebecca decides it's time for Brian to get a new handler and Brian decides to take some time off. He's heading to the girl that almost took out Sen. Morra--Piper. I guess he thinks if he can help her take out Morra, then he can stop lying to Rebecca about everything, but that also means he's a dead man since Morra is the only person with a cure.

Brian was kicked out of the family so all he has left is his pills. The battle with addiction. What Brian said to Rebecca was sort of true though. She needs him to take the pills so he can help her solve cases. In other words, if Brian is an addict, then Rebecca is his enabler and the FBI are the drug dealers. C'est la vie.

P.S. I really thought in the last episode they would keep the same title sequence. I'm sad right now.
P.P.S. So glad Rachel blew off Ike.

E18
Piper and Brian sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. I actually like Brian and Piper as a couple more than the inevitable Brian and Rebecca. Speaking of Rebecca, now that she knows Brian is helping out Sands, she'll connect that Brian is also working for Sen. Morra. So what does this mean? Piper has almost made the cure so soon Brian won't even need Sands/Morra anymore, but I doubt Rebecca could ever trust Brian again (well, at least for now).

I don't know what might happen next, but all I can think of saying is Brian is fucked.

P.S. Fun episode especially Henrietta. She will always be Henrietta to me.
P.P.S. Brian's father still sucks and I hope he dies by the end of the season especially now that Sands knows Piper is still alive.
P.P.P.S. Who the hell sent Sands that photo?
P.P.P.P.S. Rachel talks too much.

Previously On Tuesday...

Hey People,

I don't know why this didn't get released last week, but it was ready and for some reason I didn't have it set up. Anyway, consider me caught up for Tuesday. I'm hoping I can get all my shows caught up this week! Fingers crossed.

S1 E14 & E15
E14
The day they get computers to actually think is the day the human race is in trouble. That's all I'm going to say on the subject. Turns out the crazy ex did it, which is really sad considering how deep and to what great lengths the characters were going through to solve the case.

Now onto the important stuff. Rebecca was so close to figuring out Brian was behind the coats being switched if it weren't for Sands killing him. However, this only adds to Rebecca's suspicion that Sen. Morra is up to something.

P.S. I really thought for a second that the Asian guy would be Spike. Then we would have all the colors of the rainbow. Funny part is they are still bleeping out their names.

E15
It's Tiana!

I just had to put that in there. It's been so long since I've seen her and when I imbd her it seems she's been working. Glad I recognized her.

Anyway back to the recap. Brian goes undercover with Tiana Lucy and ends up catching a killer who was part of a human trafficking hedge fund organization. Of course, Brian and Lucy have sex but did I get a hint of jelly on Rebecca's part? I thought I saw some gazing. Maybe it's just me.

Speaking of Rebecca, Sands did a real amateur move and tried to bribe Rebecca with money by working with Sen. Morra. She didn't take the deal and now she's even more suspicious of that Morra is using NZT.

P.S. I love how this show comes up with new ways to present cases. It's refreshing.

E9
S1 E9, E10, & E11
Will is an ass. I can't believe he resuscitated that girl. I seriously hope he loses his license. If that means he won't be in the show anymore, then I'm okay with that. I'm glad Natalie called him out on his shit. The love is now down the drain for those two.

Poor Reese. I'm glad she got the 10/10 from the hobo and I'm glad he died in a nice comfortable bed.

Rhodes will now switch from trauma to cardio and Choi is suffering from PTSD. Man is in great shape by the way.

E10
Will admitted he's an ass! The bad part is he kissed Natalie and she didn't cry or pull away. I'm totally not for them and think Natalie can do far better.

Did anyone else felt a moment between hockey player and Reese? I think the boy should come back to the show. Anyway, Reese decided that she doesn't want to specialize in emergencies, but instead pathology since in the emergency room, you patch them up and the patient can go back to what they were doing that landed them in the ER in the first place.

Rhodes is learning as much as he can from high Downey. He's high for a reason but still. I don't want Downey high when he's operating on me. I'm just saying.

Choi is still suffering from PTSD and needs to go to therapy. I think everyone needs therapy.

E11
Okay I will forgive Will for resuscitating that girl because he went after those parents that didn't vaccinate their kids. I think parents that don't vaccinate their kids and either their kid or another kid gets sick because they didn't should be jailed/sued for negligence. Something that can be prevented isn't because they don't want to put things foreign in their bodies. Well then what are doing in a hospital? If you truly believed that then you wouldn't take medicine at all. I swear people sometime.

Natalie gave Will a speech about how she isn't there yet in her life, which means there is still a chance for him which I'm pretty upset about.

April's brother is back on the screen and he still sucks as a doctor. He messed up an ear infection because the kid was allergic to a certain kind of medicine. April decided that if she wanted her brother to be a good doctor she needed to write him up so he could take responsibility. I'm just waiting for April to decide to go back to school to become a doctor because her brother becoming one just makes it seem that anyone can become one.

Reese got a doctor fired from the hospital. Not really fired, but he's no longer welcomed back there for misdiagnosing his patients as of late. If your business is going under and you can't keep up, it's time to think of going to another practice. Misdiagnosing is not an option and I think Charles should go to another doctor.

Rhodes and Choi had a bit of a confrontation, but to me, it's the same thing as not resuscitating someone. You take out his heart valve and when he starts crashing you don't revive him. Same thing except the only difference here is Rhodes actually listened to his patient unlike Will. Never mind I thought I was over what Will did and thought I could forgive him but I guess I'm not there yet (see what I did there?)

P.S. That flesh eating disease was all kinds of gross.

E14
S1 E14, E15, & E16
Chili is out! She got fired because she asked for help too late. Boden didn't have a choice so I don't blame him However, I am glad that Chili will finally seek help. Now the big question is will Chili be back or will we get a new paramedic for the time being. I hope its Rafferty. I always hope for that girl to come back, but something tells me that young boy who shows up in Chicago Med will come back. Never really took a shine to that kid though. I'm glad she called Severide. I forgot he went through his own addiction of drugs before.

Casey is running for office. I forget what office. Something I never heard of before. It must be one of those things that I just mark my political party to because I have no idea what the job is and don't know who the hell these people are.

P.S. Jimmy got knocked the fuck out! I couldn't help but laugh.

E15
Big up to Matt for not being a bought candidate and glad that Severide stood behind what Cruz saw. He's changed since the last time someone accused one of his friends of something.

There was a bit of a change this episode. Jimmy is the new Peter Mills and can dual in both truck and paramedics so now he's a paramedic and a new girl is on truck. It just so happens that the new girl is friends with Dawson. I'm actually glad there's another girl in the house that's a firefighter. Now I really wonder if Chili is out for good.

There seems to be another love triangle--Jimmy, Brett, and Otis. At first, I wanted Brett and Otis, but now I'm kind of rooting for Jimmy and Brett. I like Brett she deserves someone good in her life.

P.S. Did something happen between the new girl and Severide that Dawson isn't supposed to know about?

E16
Politics makes good people do bad things. I don't like that Casey made a deal with the devils, but it creates drama. I can only hope that he goes back on his word.

So Severide and Kidd (I like the name) had a huge misunderstanding. Casey thought she was single when she was totally taken. But the good thing is now she is single and I already like her so could this be finally the girl Severide and the audience agree with as end game?

Jimmy and Brett are making a great team together. I'm guessing this is a slow build until they get together and that's exactly when Chili will be back. DRAMA!

Finally, Mouch had his bachelor's party. Even I was scared that it would be totally lame, but I had a feeling that it would be more like The Hangover because that brother-in-law totally looked like that guy in that movie. I thought he was going to drug them all.

Hey People,

S1 E6 & E7 & E8
E6
There were just a bunch of deaths in the episode. It makes me think not to come to that hospital. There were 3 patient storylines 4 if you include Natalie. One little boy who got a death sentence--he'll die in 5 years which to him at the age of ten is a long time. It reminded me of One Liter of Tears. If you haven't seen it, don't. You will literally cry a liter of tears. A brother and sister who were stowaways on an airplane were thrown off the airplane as it landed. The brother died and the sister was taken after it was decided she was well enough to travel. Another boy was shot just after coming to the hospital for stitches because he fell off his bike. And finally, Natalie had her baby.

We learned that Natalie's mother-in-law feels threatened by Will and how close he is to Natalie when her son just died 7 months ago. I mean she should be. We all see this coming. Natalie called out his name when she was given birth. Sarah had to tell the parents that their 10 year old son is dying from an incurable disease. You know I kind of like this show for these subtle reasons. Usually, we see a doctor show where they have a patient figure out there problem and either the patient dies or lives in the end, but I'm glad this show took the time to see how hard it is for the doctor to tell the truth to their patient. We also get a little mystery in this show, which I was expecting. What did Rhodes' father do that made his mother kill herself. I'm going to go with a cliche and say he was sleeping with the maid. He was definitely sleeping with someone. I know that much.

P.S. I'm surprised we didn't see April's brother in the episode.

E7
Still no April's brother, but April did come to realize that all saint's might have just had stokes that made them so nice. Okay not all of them, just most of them. Her patient had a stroke that made him super generous and then he had another that made him super selfish. The mind is a crazy thing.

Will finally saw Natalie and Natalie's mother-in-law was super nice to him. Why? Because that bitch is selfish and wants Natalie to stay in Chicago instead of moving back home with her parents in Seattle. If she gets Will and Natalie together than she'll most likely stay with the baby. I am really hating this mother-in-law, especially when she's the fun mother-in-law in The Fosters.

Will also had a patient that almost killed 2 people on their first date, but the only reason he was hijacked the car in the first place was so he could go back to prison and get the state to pay for his treatment of cancer. Isn't that a sad realization? We treat our prisoners better than we treat people who haven't committed a crime. WAKE UP AMERICA!

To answer Rhodes question of do I think the couple on their first date would last, my answer is the same as his, no. They may share a death experience, but that doesn't mean they will have anything else in common. Speaking of Rhodes, him and Sam had a rough patch because she's bitching about the fact she can't operate for 2 weeks, but she gets over it by the end of the episode and they're back together. I really don't care about these 2.

Then there was the heartfelt patient that was waiting for a bone marrow transplant and because her brother was trying to do something nice for the donor, it was taken as a possible bribe by the hospital. Luckily, Sharon gives the go ahead for the operation even when she shouldn't have and the hospital doesn't fight it because who in their right mind would fight a girl who will have a life now that she got her transplant. End of discussion.

E8
I have to clear this up because it really bugged me in this episode. The VA has great service once you are in. Veterans that are in the VA say how great the service is. The problem with the VA is the wait time to get the service, but once you're in it's all good. That's what my problem with this episode was. It made it seem that the VA had bad service when it doesn't. The VA is slow to get in that's what the government needs to fix. The backlog is true but not to get CAT scans, but to actually get in. That's my announcement.

I can't believe that after only 1 month Natalie is back to work. In the US, you get at least 3 months of paid leave. So again, I say why the fuck is she back. That makes no sense and I'm surprised that her mother-in-law wasn't there or maybe she talked Natalie into coming back early so she can run off with the kid. I know, I know. I'm just creating more drama.

I'm shocked April is on a dating app when she's hooking up with Severide last time I checked. I don't know, I haven't watched Fire yet. But Sarah and Joey are cute together. I'm even sort of rooting for them. He even made the effort to get off the dating app. I wouldn't consider it cheating because they weren't exclusive. On the other hand, those 2 besties where one was pre-med and the other came in because she had Lyme Disease, well all I have to say to that is I'm glad the pre-med left her bestie because her boyfriend (hopefully ex) cheated on her with the best friend. I don't think she meant it when pre-med said she hopes her ex bestie gets a STD and dies because then most likely she would die of the same disease because they both slept with her boyfriend. We need to think these comebacks through when we say them. On a positive note, Sarah totally called it.

As for that daddy daughter relationship, it was all kinds of weird. I'm close with my father, but there was just something so off putting about their relationship. I'm glad it wasn't sexual because my mind was heading in that direction. Instead the girl made herself sick to get comforted by her father so her father wouldn't be so sad about her mother passing. Sometimes separation is a good thing and I don't feel bad about what the doctors did. They made the right call.

P.S. Why did Rhodes have to make tea? I hope that's explained in the next episode.

S4 E11 & E12 & E13
E11
Otis shaved his mustache! Finally that thing came off. He looked like Mario to me. This is just another step closer for him and Brett to get together now that Brett is single again.

Severide and that agent, really? I feel like that's where this is heading and I have to say someone needs to write Severide a steady girlfriend. I feel like his girlfriends are always random. Bring back his ex-wife. I miss her.

Herrmann is back! I wonder how long he was out because the man was stabbed. That's at least a few months to me but it seems like it was only last week. Cruz kept informing Herrmann about Freddie, but Herrmann just wanted to move on from the incident. Cruz ended up going to see Freddie and it was a great scene. Freddie apologized and I still don't think Cruz will forgive himself for letting Freddie in the house even after that. Time will tell.

Chili is not a psycho like I once thought. We finally know the reason of why she's been acting so weird lately--her sister died. I know she was very close to her so I'm guessing it really messed her up. I don't blame Brett for going to Boden, she was just looking out for her, but I hope Chili confesses to what's been going on with her.

P.S. Jimmy and Chili are officially over, but no one should be surprised by this.

E12
Did I tell you or did I tell you? The agent and Severide got together and they're ugh. Please give him a steady girlfriend even Mouch is eye rolling it.

The tornado that happened in the last episode was still an issue this episode. The shelter was going to close down because of funding, so Casey wanted to help out by speaking. They raised over $50,000 and not a dime went to the shelter. So where's the money? I hate politics. I really do.

Dawson laid it out for Chili that she needed to get her act together and Chili finally spilled the beans on her Jelly Bean. She was a CI for Antonio and Antonio got her out of drugs, but she just went back to it in the end and it killed her. Everyone has their own way of dealing with grief. I just hope it doesn't cost her her job.

Herrmann did the sweetest thing ever and gave Freddie a second chance not only for Freddie, but for himself as well. It gave him a chance to believe in faith again. I guess the call with suicidal kid (I'm surprised that PD didn't take this call) really hit him hard and I'm glad he met up with Freddie's father so he could explain why Freddie is the way he is. It was a tearful scene at least for me.

In other news, Otis fired Dawson to be in charge of his makeover.

E13
Well that was intense. It reminded me of Grey's Anatomy's famous episode of the grieving shooter except no one at 51 was shot or killed, which is probably why I didn't feel as emotional as Grey's. But I will say that it was still grim. Anyone who kills anyone for no reason always is.

Casey and that douchebag of a politician still have some business to do. Casey really should just go to media.

I'm glad the relationship or whatever it was with Severide and the agent is over. Felt no chemistry whatsoever. And I have to be super happy about Chili and Brett getting back together as friends people as friends. I didn't want one of them to leave, but if I had to choose, I'd choose Chili.

P.S. I'm glad they kept up with the tradition of the police vs the firehouse boxing match. Good luck Jimmy. I wonder who at PD will contend.

S1 E11
Was it just me and the fact that I just went to the dentist or could you not stop staring at the imaginary dinosaur's teeth either? I try not to make fun of actors' features, but his teeth looked a mess. I'm really hoping they were fake or he needs to go to a dentist stat!

Anyway, this episode was kind of fun and annoying at the same time. I really like and enjoy how this show takes a regular case and changes it up on you so you won't become bored with a regular case of the week. We had 2 stranglers huggers which Brian both caught. Quantico is nothing like Quantico that's for sure and that may be a good thing. 1 strangler was caught in the beginning of the episode and the other at the end when Brian figured out a doctor was getting paid for his research to cover up a rich guy's son's murder by implementing the murder in one of his patient's memories. Sick I know.

The real big story is Rebecca being very close to finding out about Eddie Morra. She's going to realize the coat was switched and once she does, she'll be that much closer to finding out about Brian.

Hey People,

S1 E12
HENRIETTA! NINA! FRINGE! There was a Fringe reunion, which, to me, was a far better reunion than Dexter on account of me liking Fringe a thousand times more than Dexter. I had to get that out of my system.

I didn't think Bradley Cooper would be in this show as much as he is. You know usually when they hype a show up because of a famous actor that's behind it, the actor shows up for a stunt and then bounces, but he's been recurring and I have to say I applaud his effort.

I thought this episode would focus more on Casey being killed but he was more like a bug on a windshield you just swipe away. Rebecca didn't seem too broken up about him and Boyle still thinks shooting Casey was the right call. Nothing has changed.

Instead, this episode focused on Morra and determining if Brian will stand by him or not. I knew right after the next scene of the subway tracks that Brian didn't kill Piper. He's not the killing type and if he did kill her I probably would have quit watching the show because that would have been cold blooded and totally against Brian's character. I knew he had to have planned everything and was glad by the end of the episode that I was right. I do believe Piper and think Morra is turning into an evil guy. "A man who strives for perfection is a man who won't accept imperfection" wow that is a great quote I just made up. So what happens to those that are imperfect? Will Morra get rid of them because they don't fit his utopia? There is a reason why men and women were created equally because for those who think they are higher than others think they can decide others' fates. Piper killing her boyfriend was a possibility, but we know for certain that she had a chance to kill Brian's family and she didn't. We also know Morra has threatened to kill Brian's family on numerous occasions and hasn't only to keep his control over Brian. So yes, I do believe Morra is a bigger threat.

Oh how I wish Piper could stick around. I do like her character. I just hope this isn't the last we see of this girl.

Limitless Midseason 1 Finale Review

Hey People,

Better late than never, but I will say that I did watch this awhile ago and just never got around to writing this review. Damn these holidays. Anyway, Limitless had probably one of the best midseason finales this fall. It kept me engaged the whole time through.

First of all, I love how they organized the episode by showing us the point of views of each character. Do I think we should do that all the time? No, but it was a great way to get to know the backgrounds of the characters a little more. I mean, we got to learn Ike's real name--Jason--but isn't it just as funny that they bleeped out their names towards the beginning of the episode?

Hey People,

S1 E10
Well welcome back Limitless. Last time, I said Brian's father will die and I still kind of think that. My theory still stands, but damn did I hate his father in the last episode. He went from being an understanding father to a annoying person that needs to go away. Me thinks if he doesn't die then he's going to be a real pain in the ass later.

I liked this case of the week though. Arm-agedden, I thought it was funny. Anyway, robotic arms were being hacked and in the end they found the hacker, but he never programmed the arm to kill anyone. I turns out that Boyle's friend murdered his own wife, which is just sad really. Why didn't he just leave her?

Tonight is the season finale and I am excited. I feel like Rebecca and Brain have become really close since the premiere. I value their friendship, but I think we all know where this relationship is heading.

P.S. Where was Mike this episode? It's not the same if it's just Ike.

Hey People,

Fall Finales for both Chicago Fire & Chicago Med tonight! We'll see if I keep Chicago Med on my list.

S4 E7 & E8
E7
No one told me an Everwood reunion would be happening on Chicago Fire.

Severide spent his suspension thinking of whether he should drop a bomb on the Captain's lap that would ruin his career (something to do with his youth days). But in the end, Severide just proves he's not his father's son by not using the dirt he had on the Captain.

Brett and Otis is happening! I'm actually more excited about this than I thought I would be. At first I thought Otis didn't deserve Brett because he was such an ass last year with the whole Rice thing, but I need a couple to root for in this show and I've never been a fan of Casey and Dawson and Chili and Jimmy are cute, but it's doomed since Chili doesn't believe in lasting relationships so I've decided to root for Brett and Otis. Can I call Brotis? Sounds like a disease to me, but I'll take it. This will definitely cause some drama especially if Brett actually does end up falling for Otis instead of Cruz.

Speaking of Cruz, he helped his brother's friend get out from a gang. He is just saving thugs left and right.

Boden is still being accused of assault and if convicted he could be put away up to 30 years when you include the invasion of the home. I didn't think Dawson would be down with conspiracies. You would think Otis would be saying all this stuff. Anyway, Dawson came up with a theory that Boden's boss is setting him up as a way to get closer to commissioner. The Riddler likes to control his minions like every bad guy. Oye, this is getting crazy.

E8
No Boden No!!! Someone needs to save him. Boden had been arrested and it turns out Dawson's conspiracy was not so far-fetched. She just got the wrong guy. It all comes back to the man who burned down buildings so he could buy them cheaper. Maddox wants to discredit Boden so he doesn't testify against him. Everyone tries to help. Severide went back to that snotty ex who's representing Maddox, Gabriel tried with her cop brother, but no luck. The girl missing is just adding fumes to the fire.

Brett was asked out by a guy she saved, but it's not going to last because he just screams annoying. You got to be quicker than that Otis.

Something is going on with Chili. Alcoholic perhaps? I have no idea, but the fact that she's lying about it and came in half an hour late to shift is doing her no favors.

As for Cruz, his little project of ghetto turned into fab may be coming to an end. The Captain put a clock to it.

We shall see if Severide gets his rank back and more importantly what will happen to Boden.

S1 E3 & E4
E3
I still don't know anything about these people and that's the difference between this show and Fire. Chicago Fire is more character oriented than it is work oriented. Since doing these recaps, I've never really had to talk about what happened at work, but instead focus on the interactions with each other. That's not the case with Chicago Med. All I can think to write about is what happened in cases they had.

It's not like it can't be done. Grey's Anatomy always focused tremendously on characters and work. They've always have had a great balance. But what can I say? I focus on the characters than the cases.

I will also say this: that 14 year old did not plan to save that babies life. I don't think she was aiming for the hospital and I'm pretty sure the baby would have died from suffocation in that bag.

E4
So much better of an episode. We got to see actual character development. 2 thumbs up! One guy is like the son of Donald Trump. The father even has his personality. The newbie is afraid to stick people with needles. The conflict between Haldstead and the pregnant lady is now over. It started with the pregnant case and one thing lead to the other where Haldstead said she needs to stop thinking like a pregnant woman. I think everyone knows by now the pregnant woman lost her husband, who was a vet and that the Asain guy is also a vet.

While I like that we got character development in the episode, I'm now starting to wonder do I care about any of the characters on the show and so far I got nothing. Here's hoping a find a reason in the finale tonight.

P.S. The musician losing her hearing was quite deafening. Too soon? If Beethoven can do it, so can she and she has the advantage because at least she can remember what it sounded like, but then again you can't hate on something you never had.

Hey People,

S1 E1
I haven't added it to my list yet, but we still don't know much about these characters.

Halstead is a douche, which is sad because his brother is so cool. The pregnant girl's husband died in the military. The new guy is cool and cute looking guy. And everyone speaks Spanish.

As far as cases go, there was a train derailment. Someone got new lungs, a little girl and her father at another hospital were saved, and a surrogate and a baby was saved by the baby's parents by making the right decision to let doctors operate on her even though it would put the baby in jeopardy.

All in all, it was an okay episode. Everything wrapped up in a bow so I'm hoping it won't be for tonight's episode.

S4 E6
Severide has been suspended. He definitely made the right decision during the car accident, but he shouldn't be surprised about what the Captain is doing. No one wants their underling to show them up. But the Captain has to know that this isn't going to sit well with his squad. He is nothing without his squad.

Dawson and Casey are taking it slow, while Chili and Jimmy are taking it really fast, which makes me think it's not going to last as long as I thought it was. Plus, we already know Chili doesn't want any type of relationship so it really doesn't matter anyway.

Boden is in some deep shit. A crazy bitch moved in next door and she's already set her sights on Boden. She's the type to beat the shit out of herself just to frame a guy. Really sickening and this is just the beginning.

Otis, Casey, Mouch, and Herrmann went to a concert, but because the tickets were for backstage seats, Casey, Otis, and Herrmann left early. Luckily for Mouch, the guy who they saved earlier in a fire told Mouch he gave them the wrong tickets and Mouch got to be up close and personal to the front stage.

P.S. I can't believe a woman threw herself and her baby off the roof. That bitch is crazy.
P.P.S. Parents, remember to lock your guns and teach your kids to never touch such a thing in their life.

S1 E9
Brian wanted a headquarters and after nagging Naz
for weeks, she finally gives in, but only if he can complete what he said he could complete in 2 weeks and that is catching the top 10 most wanted.

I'm not going to even mention the silly name he came up with to call his team, but they do a fairly good job. 6 out of 10 guys caught and 1 found innocent of the crime he committed. Naz was so impress and so we're the people in DC that it is now an official task force.

Brian had his family over to his big huge apartment and his father wasn't impressed at all because he knows that Brian is keeping something from him. So Brian invites his father over and starts telling him about NZT. I bet his father is going to die in tonight's fall finale because Brian can't keep his mouth shut. There's always repercussions to our actions and this one may jeopardize someone's life. Just like in Spider-Man

Hey People,

S4 E5
I'm actually shocked that they moved the story on so quickly with Dawson. Not that I don't think she's fit enough to go back to work, but I thought they might want to sit on this plot for a while with her. We got one scene in the beginning and that was it. Not only that, but I thought it would create tension for Dawson and Casey and give them something to fight over because I don't ship them all. Although, that could still happen later down the road. I will tell you this though, I was mad as hell when the Riddler (I like the nickname) thought she should sit out until she's mentally stable even though she was cleared to get back to work. So glad that Dawson threatened him.

Severide is not getting his position back as head of the squad because he doesn't care for the politics (no one does at 51). But I hate how the Captain, went behind everyone's back just to suck up to the Riddler. First a 2nd there I thought Boden called in the press to save face with the Riddler, but it turned out to be Riddler's bitch that did and he took all the credit too. The Riddler is a lose lose situation. If they go after him, he'll just make their lives a living hell for losing the spot for commissioner, but if they don't, they would just be playing the same political game as the rest of them with no guarantee the Riddler will be off their back in the future.

Chili and the new candidate are already locking lips, but it was revealed that Chili isn't the type of girl that settles, but obviously the boy is. Can he change her mind. I doubt it, but we'll see. Don't say I didn't warn you kid. And who knew Brett could sing? The wedding was a great idea and dare I say better than what Boden got.

Congratulations Chicago Fire! You've already been renewed for a 5th Season. Well that was fast.

S1 E8

Naz has been paying terrorists to get back her kid. Ugh never negotiate with terrorists. Anyway, the Finch project is put on hold but Brian and Rebecca try to clear her name and get her nice back. We actually end up meeting Naz's who definitely wanted a kiss at the end of the episode and I sort of think Naz gave her blessing to Brian to date her daughter. Did not see that one coming.

In the end, the niece is safe, Naz is back at her desk and we find out Boyle van be a real team player. Let's not forget, Rebecca now knows about Brian's extra NZT. She's going to be asking some questions tonight.

P.S. Rose is alive! I repeat, Rose is alive! OITNB

Hey People,

S4 E4
I don't know what it was, but I was crying like crazy in this episode. Maybe it was the fact that Dawson lost her baby, but I knew that was going to happen (It's a firefighter show after all) and I still cried anyway. Just seeing Casey try to explain to her the 2nd time that she lost her baby. Damn that was sad. But what really got was Herrmann's confession about his first pregnancy being a miscarriage. It's crazy sad.

Another moment I cried was Severide meeting the kid he saved earlier in the episode. You could tell that kid looked up to him and I'm glad Severide told him he just made his day because he really could have been a bitch to the kid because of the day he was having, but he didn't. It was upsetting that the guy who acted like a 2nd father to him was behind the files be stolen. At least the case can be put to rest and Severide is single once again.

Bit you know who won't be single for long? Chili. I see romance in her future and his name is Candidate. I really should learn his name. But the new candidate did a solid for everyone when he helped saved Molly's from those evil Portland couple. He made Molly's an historical site so it can't be shut down. Eat that Portland couple! I hope they played that music twice as loud from now on. Again who moves close to a bar and then starts complaining? They are giving Portlanders a bad name.

S1 E7
I am going to admit this right now and I hope to not get killed for it but I hated Ferris Buller's Day Off. Only because I really hate people like that, who can get away with doing stuff like that and not get caught. I wanted him to get caught the whole time. Ugh Ferris Buller can go suck it in my book.

Anyway, We found Uncle Vernon from Empire and he's alive! But sadly still dies by the end of the episode. We find Brian trying to play hookey for work and gets abducted by the CIA. It was an off the book assignment so CIA agents could get paid, but people turned on each other and in the end, all 3 CIA agents end up dead and the guy they wanted to kill/turn in escaped. It's not clear if he was going to die, he was definitely hallucinating, but I think he survived. It's debatable.

Brian saw a lot of things that he isn't used to and Rebecca wants to make sure the new life Brian has stumbled on doesn't harden him as a person.

Every time I begin a recap, I tell myself I'm going to write it down, but I end up forgetting so let me say it now. Limitless has been given a full season order! In case you missed it.

Hey People,

Coming to you midday from my desk.

S4 E3
Why can't Severide just find a nice girl? No, he has to always go for the bad girls and this bad girl just so happens to be the lawyer of the guy who's an arsonist. Dawson found out arsonist behind that fire in the horrible neighborhood, but it seems like all the files she had on him are missing. So this arsonist, who has a hot lawyer could not walk, but that's the least of Dawson's worry since it looks like she may have some pregnancy problems. That baby won't see the light of day.

The house got over that horrible neighborhood when they had to return to the same neighborhood to help save a husband's leg. The leg couldn't be saved, but at least the house was when the wife came forward with a video her son took that showed our firefighters not slow walking the call.

Brett finally got over her baby hump by locating the father and telling him how great the baby. The father ended up taking the baby in the end.

As for the new candidate (eventually I'll learn his name), he's staying put.

S1 E6
Rebecca actually takes the news nicely about her father. Who would have thunk it? Brian and her come up with a plan to get more info on Rebecca's father. This leads them to a doctor that treated him in rehab. The guy didn't know anything so it was all a waste of time anyway. I mean, he gets blown up by the end of the episode. Pointless, but it brings our leads closer together.

Brian was dealing with the effects of NZT. He needed another shot and Sands told him he could only get it if he sets up Rebecca with the files he gave her on her father to get her fired and sent to jail. Brain refuses to do that to her and then we get a cameo from Bradley Cooper. He said he needed to know what type of person Brain was. I think that was a total bullshitted lie and he just wanted to kill the doctor in case he knew too much, but that's just me.

Meanwhile, Naz finds out Rebecca knows about her father being involved with the experiment the Feds were doing to people and she claims she was always going to tell her but didn't because she didn't have a high enough clearance for it, which is why she's so focused on getting Rebecca to move up the ladder.

Hey People,

S4 E2
I'm glad that Dawson went to arson (hey, that rhymed) to separate Dawson and Casey from each other. It would be too nauseating to see them together all the time. However, when Dawson left I thought we wouldn't be seeing her for awhile, but nope they just stick us with some Dawson investigation skills as she tries to help her old House out with their lawsuit problem. So the neighbors are suing and they aren't saying a damn word about what really happened. What the hell is wrong with this neighborhood? Obviously, they are slow to begin with because you just don't burn a house filled with drugs. They probably all flunked chemistry. Anyway, I get that they are mad about no one doing anything about the drugs in their neighborhood, but they are taking it out on the wrong people. Take that shit out on the police, not the firefighters. One government, different entities.

I didn't hate on the new captain until he revealed his true colors. Why does he have to be up in Severides ass for? He was just trying to help. The captain is too controlling and that's never a good thing.

Is anyone else rooting for Brett and Chilli to get together? Maybe I'm just missing the lesbian in the group. RIP Shay! Anyway, at least they should try co-parenting first because I'm pretty sure either Brett is going to steal that baby or she's going to adopt it. It would be a cool story if she stole it, but I'm leaning more towards adoption.

I guess the moral of the season so far is neighbors suck and they suck hard. The Portland couple can go kick rocks. I can't believe how calm Herrmann kept. I seriously might have threatened to beat the shit out of her. She moved next to bar. You knew what you were getting yourself into when you did that. That's her damn fault. Viva la Panama City!

P.S. Pretty funny how long Dawson and Casey kept their pregnancy a secret.
P.P.S. When someone says clear, you clear! That means no touching. It would have been funny, but sad, but mostly funny if she ended up dead and he survived.

S1 E5
Let's start with that case-of-the-week. I was tearing up at the end there. The younger brother tried to save his older brother from creating a dirty bomb (what's with the dirty bomb plot going around networks?) and in the end, the younger brother gets shot and dies, while the older brother lives on in jail for the rest of his life. Even on NZT, Brian couldn't predict what was going to happen.

There was a Dexter reunion on Limitless and it seems like there will be more in the future. The same 2 people are dating again. I didn't like them together on Dexter and I don't like them together now. Some things never change. But this does make me want to write a Dexter review. I'll think about it.

Anyway, Brian was fighting with his NZT self on whether they should tell Rebecca the truth about her father. I still think he made the wrong call, but whatever. He told Rebecca what he found on her father and for her not to ask where he got the information. I get why he did it. It's better to know, then never know, but now he's totally going to die by a giant boot. RIP Brian.

I hear Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) will be returning on the show tonight. Probably to give Brian the boot. See what I did there?

Hey People.

S4 E1
Remember this? Because I didn't, but I'm so glad they came up with a new poster. It really wouldn't have made sense if they kept the last one. Onward with the recap.

So Casey's situation with the strip club was wrapped up pretty quickly, at least for now. I don't think it's over yet, especially with Nesbitt playing both the FEDs and the mobsters. He can't be touched by the cops because he's an informant and he still makes money with his illegal business. I'm actually shocked he's not dead yet because you would think the mob would have a hitman come after him. Anyway, with the close call Dawson had with the fire, Casey finally realized what was important to him so when he confessed Dawson was still important to him, Dawson confessed that she was pregnant. Is it wrong for me to hope that it's a false positive? Because I really want that to happen right now.

Out of nowhere Severide loses his rank. He is no longer a lieutenant. Yes, there has been a lot of turnovers, but that's not Severide's fault. Now you have this captain come in to take his place and I'm not hating on the captain because it's not his fault, but damn does this situation suck. And to make matters worse, Severide has to go train in management. Yet, it seems like it won't last long since he's quitting, but we all know he'll be back in the game sooner or later.

Brett and Chilli were emotional wrecks this week as they dealt with a lost of a girl who died under their care. They made the right call. You can't save them all and at least they baby survived.

I like the new recruit Jimmy (Great to see Steven R. McQueen away from the trainwreck The Vampire Diaries), hopefully he'll stick around longer than originally intended. I saw a spark between Jimmy and Chilli. If Chilli and Brett were gay, I would totally be rooting for them to get together, but it is what it is though.

As for Boden receiving that bogus letter informing him that their fire department was too slow on the call, that was a bunch of bullshit and I'm pretty sure it'll get thrown out.

P.S. The Portland couple shouldn't be bitching about Molly's. They moved next to a bar. They got no one to complain to but themselves. What idiots!

S1 E3 & E4
E3
Case-of-the-week: Brian and Co track down a person who was behind killing an FBI agent. It turns out not to be the over 6'5 person they were looking for, but a task force of NYPD that was behind it all. Not really interesting.

But what was really interesting was Shauna. I liked her and in a matter of seconds she was taken away from me. I get that Brian wants to keep her safe from the Sandman, but still...I'm going to miss her. Speaking of Mr. Sands, I wonder what sort of assignment he will give Brian.

E4
Again, the case-of-the-week was pointless. It started out great with cartons and stuff, but then turned into #whothefuckcares by the middle. There were actually 3 cases going on simultaneously. 1) selling government secrets 2) the mouse and inheritance 3) stealing the NZT file from Naz. 1) It turned out to be exactly who they thought it was and caught both guys involved 2) the lawyer was blackmailing the rich guy's kids so he could get a cut 3) Brian originally made up a file for Sands, but then Sands noticed and threatened Brian by making his dad sick so then Brian had to really steal the files and he found out that Rebecca's father was part of the experiment and the FBI knows.

I'm just glad Rebecca and Brian are becoming closer buds. It's just really sad that he has to lie to her about Morra blackmailing him.

Hey People,

S1 E2
Limitless is finally on my list officially.

So Brian thought working for the FBI would make him James Bond, but instead he's put on in a room and just watched all day. However, by the end of the episode, Harris realizes how much of an asset he is on the field that she talks her boss into letting him come with her from now on.

Case-of-the-week: a CEO created a biochemical weapon to attack Genghis Khan trait. Turns out this head honcho army guy was going to vote no to giving a biochemical company more money and since the company's only client is the army, the CEO would have been screwed if he lost them as a client. Hence, the plan to kill the no voter, who would then be replaced with a yes voter.

I added Limitless to my list because I do enjoy the chemistry between Brian and Harris. Even though it may not be sexual (doesn't all shows like this end that way?), I still like them working together. Plus, I think Jake McDorman has great comedic timing. He could just as easily work in a sitcom.

Hey People,

OMG, I watched Scream Queens and I want my 2 hours back. I'm not a huge fan of satire in general so I shouldn't be judging and I will admit it did have its moments when I laughed, but most of the time I was just screaming how ridiculous the show is, which I'm pretty sure is its intention. Text murder anyone? Anyway, I just wanted to say that I did watch it and there is no way in hell that I'll watch another episode of it, but I will say Emma Roberts is amazing in it as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. I also watched The Muppets and enjoyed it as well. The Miss Piggy and Kermit breakup scene had me tearing up. It was sad y'all! But I comment on dramas and not comedy, so let's get on with the recap, shall we?

S1 E1
I did a back to back with Limitless. I first watched the movie and then went directly to the series. You don't have to watch the movie to understand the show, but it does help to give you a background to the story. Bradly Cooper made an appearance (he is an executive producer) and I suspect that he will return to make another appearance. The show didn't really deviate away from the movie all that much. The lead characters are both roughly the same type of personalities and get to the same type of situation. The only difference is the show will dive into the question of who, as in, who created the drug. The movie never answered the question, so movie people don't know more than TV bingers.

Because the movie has turned into a series, CBS just had to make it a procedural. I'm hoping it'll become more serial later on. The deal is Brain Finch (I am really missing Person of Interest right now, especially since this show took its spot for now) will now be studied by the FBI to enhance NZT and while they're doing that Finch will work as an consultant for the FBI and help them with cases working with Rebecca Harris (Jennifer Carpenter seems to like playing a cop) as the handler.

I like how the show tied in the movie and didn't treat it like it didn't happen or had a one off mention about it, but it definitely has room to grow. Before I watched, I heard some people commenting that this was better than Blindspot, but I have to disagree with that one. It wasn't bad, but Limitless needs to step it up a notch. They have a similar premise, so I doubt this will be the last comparison you see of them.

Like I've stated before, I don't have as much time as I used to so I have to be real picky about what I choose to watch this year, so Limitless has to get real smart and quick if they want me to stick around until the end of the season. I think some viewers feel the same because as far as ratings go, it started off in the okay field.
