My Last Castle Rant

Hey People,

So apparently I got the episodes mixed up, I thought it was 7th episode that the writers were talking about, but they were actually referring to the 8th episode titled "Mr. & Mrs. Castle". But it really doesn't matter because it still didn't solve my issues with this storyline.

I've had 2 weeks to think things through and I still stand by my decision of not coming back. The midseason finale did absolutely nothing for me. We still have problems:
  • Beckett still has an obsession
    • Beckett chose solving LokSat over being with Castle
    • Beckett will always put her cases before Castle
  • Her hiding the secret from Castle by breaking up with him was stupid
    • everyone knows they're married (Castle would have still been in danger regardless)
    • didn't stop Castle from sticking his nose in
    • Beckett could have just told Castle and did a fake break up
  • *NEW* Castle took her back so easily
The conversation basically went like this:

Castle: Why didn't you just tell me?
Beckett: I wanted to protect you.
Castle: By keeping me in the dark? We could have faked it all.
Beckett: Me not being with you has made me realize how much I've needed you. I still need you.
Castle: It's not that easy Kate. After everything you put me through, how can I accept you just like that?
Beckett: Will you?
Castle: Okay! All is forgiven!

What should have happened is this:

Castle: You broke up with me just to chase some case?
Beckett: I wanted to protect you.
Castle: Have you not noticed that people know that we're married? What makes you think if we break up, they won't come after me anymore? We're still married dumbass.
Beckett: Gee, I didn't think of that.
Castle: You basically chose a case over me.
Beckett: Yea, but don't think of it like that. Remember, I can't have sex with a case, but I can get some with you.
Castle: You knew I wouldn't give up on you and I followed you like a pup this whole time.
Beckett: So does that mean you'll accept me back?
Castle: Bye, Felicia. Divorce papers will be in your mailbox.

I know some people have said that no matter what fans would have been mad because if they prolonged them getting back together, we just would have been upset about that and your damn right I would have been. However, if the wait was worth it and it explained the nonsense Beckett has become, then it would have been worth the wait. I just can't watch a show that butchers characters so much that the characters no longer makes sense.

So instead I will just say this: Bye Felicia!

Why I Quit Castle & The Blacklist

Hey People,

Castle
I did what the writers said. I waited and watched up to the 7th episode and if there was a pay off, I didn't see it. I don't even know what they were referring to. The sex scene seemed random and made no fucking sense. Let's take a time out from our time out just enough time to have sex, then it's time out again. If anything, the writers only proved that Beckett is a horny cop who likes to hit it and quit it.

Seriously, what did this episode explain? It didn't explain why Beckett thinks pushing away Castle is a good idea because it seems like in every episode, random ass people know that they're married so the whole keeping Castle at a distance for his safety is a bunch of bullshit. I can't believe the writers would think a sex scene would solve everything for us. To the naysayers, who are arguing that the whole point of Beckett's break from Castle is because she doesn't want him involved with the case still doesn't change the fact that his life is still in danger because she's still working the case and more importantly she chose the case over Castle. She didn't have to work the case. She didn't have keep Castle in the dark. She made all those decisions on her own and to me, I will never understand why the writers wrote Beckett like this.

I said that I wasn't afraid to stop watching Castle by the 7th episode if things didn't start making sense and I have decided that I will quit the show. Castle is still acting like a lost pup. I don't even know why he feels the need to win her back. It should totally be the other way around and I have no idea why other people aren't getting on Beckett for ruining her marriage. They should be just as befuddled as Castle is.

In the future, if anyone asks me if they should watch Castle, I'll tell them sure, but only seasons 1-7 or even better seasons 1-7 and take out any of the episodes that involved Castle's abduction because even that plot was worse than LokSat. It's just that LokSat has a greater impact than the abduction. Just act like the 8th season never happened, except for the the 5th episode. That shit was hilarious.

P.S. Nothing against the actress, but what's the point of Hayley? She's added nothing to show. Ugh, whatever. I'm done anyway.

The Blacklist
I said I didn't need to watch the fall finale to know I wasn't returning and I was right. I decided to to watch the finale and it was good. The show is getting better, the thing is I was having the same problem with this show last year. I didn't think it was worth coming back to, but I came back and I got an amazing season finale and I thought this season would be different that it would somehow change the dynamic of the show and it has in some ways. We still get numbers, but it doesn't automatically mean the FBI are going to arrest the person in the end. It could be someone that is going to help Red and Liz for the week. But I thought it would focus more on Red teaching Liz how to stay alive. Instead, she just follows him around like a puppy and I sometimes I even forget that she's there.

I swear, the only episodes worth watching are the premieres and the finales. Everything else is basically just filler and it shouldn't be like that. I want to enjoy watching an episode every week, but lately it's been feeling like a chore to me and I can do without it.

I compare The Blacklist to Blindspot because they both revolve around the same plot--mystery. We don't know the relationship between Red and Liz is and you would think he would have told her by now because I don't see the reason to hold that back any longer. If it was because of the Cabal that is long gone now since the Cabal has been exposed. So why not just tell the audience the reason? It's at the point of being ridiculous. If Blindspot was pulling the same stunt in its 3rd season I would be complaining about it too, but it's not. It's in it's 1st and unlike The Blacklist, I look forward to Blindspot every week, more so than I ever did for The Blacklist. It took 2 seasons to flesh out the characters on The Blacklist, while Blindspot did it in 9 episodes. You definitely didn't know anything about the other characters on TBL in 9 episodes.

What it really comes down to is my time is precious because I don't have as much time to watch as I used to (this is my hobby after all), but what I have come to realize is having such a limited amount of time each week has made me realize which shows I look forward to the most. The Blacklist is at the bottom of the list. Granted, if my time was more flexible, I would probably keep watching, but it is what it is. Bye, The Blacklist.

Hey People,

S1 E3
Supergirl wants to be Supergirl and doesn't want Superman to come rescue her when she's in trouble. Fair enough. I mean you can't blame the girl for wanting to step out of her cousin's shadow. Speaking of her cousin, Supergirl let it slip during the interview with Cat that they were cousins. I didn't think it was a big deal, but everyone was in an uproar about it.

The villain of the week had a grudge against Superman because his wife died at a power plant that they both worked in. Superman saved millions of people, just not his wife. He got exposed to all the radiation, so in real life he would have been dead by now, not blowing power from his that could take down Supergirl, but whatever, I'll go with it. This is a show about an alien after all. Superman could barely handle this guy before and so Jimmy (I refuse to call him James) bat signaled Superman to come to the rescue. Supergirl was pissed, but in the end she took down the bad guy something Superman couldn't even do.

So what did we learn? That the Kardashians live in our universe and their universe (oh how I wish they were fake), Homeland is still a show, and some techie that works at CATCO knows Superman and Supergirl's secret. Honestly, why would they talk about their identity when they're at work? Don't they know the company can see all that you do on your company computer? They may be strong, but they're dumb when it comes to tech.

S2 E5
To all those that quit JtV because Jane chose Michael, aren't true fans of JtV. I would have still watched and I did watch. I hate that she chose Michael, but he's not a bad guy that is until this episode. Man, I didn't know Rafael got under Michael's skin so much to the point that he would push a guy carrying a baby. What the hell was he thinking?

No, Jane will not end up with Michael and I'm still pretty sure Michael will die. Let's not forget what the best narrator ever said before. He will love Jane until his last breath. That spews he's going to die. Why else would you say that? Anyway, Michael is out of the picture for now and he was taken by Nadine anyway. Since he just lost his job, it would be fitting for him to join Rose and Nadine. What else is he going to do? I don't think Jane will choose Rafael right away especially since he knows she didn't choose him and she didn't believe him so there is definitely stuff they have to work out.

Xiomara had a felony that will get expunged so she can be Alba's sponsor and Rogelio got over what Brittany Spears did to him (made him look stupid at a latin music award) because he called the paparazzi on Brittany when he was with her one time.

As for Petra, she got married to Milos, who is smuggling weapons to sell them. The marriage was doomed before it began.

P.S. Brittany did an okay job at acting the good thing about this show is you can over-exaggerate your lines so it worked out for her.

P.P.S. It was great to see Petra and Jane getting along. I look forward to seeing more of that.

S1 E8
So Mayfair is gay. Got to admit did not see that one coming. Anyway, she wasn't originally down with Daylight that's basically code for PRISM that the NSA uses. She rounded up bad guys using info received illegally and used it to put guys away masquerading it as if the bad guy we found in the woods was a CI giving her all the info. However, her girlfriend and that douche of a guy from the CIA talked her into it. Eventually, her girlfriend saw the error in their ways and ended her life because of it.

Weller doesn't trust Mayfair anymore or her decisions because she abused her power. He kept 2nd guessing her and just because they had a nice chat at the end doesn't mean to me that this conversation is over.

The tattoo of the week had our team trying to find cop killers and as it twist it turned out the killers were other cops. Sounds fitting to me. They were using their body-cameras to blackmail people. One of them being a closeted footballer. The pro said if he came out no one would want him. Yea, he could tour daytime shows but at the end of the day, he wouldn't be able to get signed. Here's what I think about that. If he is a good football player, I don't think anyone would give 2 shits. If anything, they'll just say how great you are at handling balls.

By the end of the episode, we got to see a girl's night out and I hope we get to see more of them in the future. Patterson is such a lightweight. Zapata gets a visit from douche face about the file she gave him. He blackmails her saying if she didn't provide more info, she can kiss her career goodbye. Oh Zapata, never make a deal with the devil and think it'll only be a one time thing.

GOOD NEWS: Blindspot has been renewed for a 2nd season! So it will definitely be back next year. At least I hope it'll be back next year. There has been rumors going around that their set isn't the happiest place on earth right now. Makeup artists and hairdressers are being fired. Jaimie Alexander (Jane) is being called difficult to work with, allegedly believes the tattoos on her body are toxic, and supposedly doesn't get along Sullivan Stapleton (Kurt Weller), and therefore tons of body-doubles are being used (I'll keep an eye out for them). Please tell me these rumors aren't true. The last thing I need is another diva on set ruining a good show (I'm talking about you, Julianna MarguLIES). As long as the story isn't influenced by the drama on set, I'll continue to watch. But just for the record, no one likes a bitch, no matter how good you are.

S8 E6
For the future, if they can't get Stana Katic to be in an episode, don't do an episode. It's just so weird to not have her in one. They should have just gone another week with a repeat. It just proves to everyone that the show may be named Castle, but Beckett is just as big of a part than he is. But it is what it is so let's get to it.

Castle reunites with Slaughter, who is being accused of killing the victim of the week. It turns out the victim was mentoring a kid that was a genius and could hack his way into any door and so the victim got the kid to hack into a building that was impregnable. Someone piggybacked off of their heist and stole money from a private bank to avoid taxes. This person turned out to be the guy in charge of the mentor program and he also had a grudge against the company.

The 1 thing I didn't care for in this episode was the police giving a shit about the rich guys money. Yes, it was stolen, but the man was hiding money to avoid taxes. I wouldn't give 2 shits about getting that money back for him.

Of course by the end of the episode someone had to tell Castle that Castle and Beckett were made for each other. Ugh, I'm just getting really sick of this. On the upside, Slaughter has a sensitive side.

Tonight is the night. It's do or die time for Castle. All Castle has to do is make sense of the reason why Beckett chose the case over her husband. The writers said everything would make sense by the end of tonight's episode and that's what I'm hoping for because if not, than I'm out for good and I'm going to act like this season didn't happen and that Castle ended on the last episode of season 7.

Hey People,

Wow just noticed the only network I'm not watching tonight is Fox. Welcome back Castle, maybe you can wake yourself up from the dead.

S1 E2
Supergirl has some corny moments, but I can't deny that I still find it charming, and therefore I am adding it to my list, probably because of nostalgia.

Anyway, it turns out you really can't become a superhero overnight. It takes practice. So Supergirl starts learning the ropes. It turns out in the baddie we saw in the premiere wasn't her mom, but her mom's twin sister, and she's trying to save the world like communists try to save the world--world dominance.

Supergirl learns that she can't do this alone and she can't rely on her superpowers to help save the day. You need experience.

Biggest surprise of the night, the guy in charge DEO is not human. I repeat, there is an alien among us. There is an alien among us!

S2 E4
I can't believe I forgot about Luisa and her kidnapping last recap. She thought Rose kidnapped her and it appears to be an enemy of Rose that has. At least, she was let go, probably because her kidnappers were sick of her demands and wasn't gaining anything from keeping her, but if I had to take a real guess, I would say it's because Rose made a deal with her enemy, which led to Luisa being set free. Oh the relationship between Rose and Luisa is crazy one, but somehow I still root for them anyway, even after Rose killed her father and kidnapped Jane's baby.

Jane has finally made a decision and she chose Michael. The sad thing is Rafael also knows who Jane has chosen and he won't be happy about it. I'm actually interested to see how he will handle the situation.

So Rogelio used to be a Scientologist. To each their own, but still... Anyway, Rafael made a lot of confessions and I think we all know Xiomara will get her hands on them and binge the shit out of them.

Milo is back in town and demanded Petra marry him. Maybe Petra and Rafael will get back together, not because Rafael loves her (he made that perfectly clear), but because he needs to make Jane jealous and Petra needs a way out of her marriage proposal. But JtV is too smart for that, right?

S1 E7
When I need a show to deliver, I look to Blindspot and it fills the void, unlike some other shows I can name right now. This time Jane's tattoos lead them to a treasure hunt. Damn the person who inked her planned out everything to the T. The team had to extract a man from the woods that couldn't be found for years. Along the way, Zapata breaks it down for Weller that he's more invested in Jane than needed and worse of it is that he doesn't know that he is. We also find out that Jane knows how to fly a helicopter, but doesn't like flying when someone else is in control.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I love the side characters in this show. Patterson following the clues with her boyfriend was super cute and I'm upset that they broke up. I don't hate on Patterson for putting her career first, but I hope this isn't the last we see of her boyfriend. I was hoping he would be hired as a consultant. They obviously work well together.

As for Mayfair, the lies have caught up to her and she'll finally have to disclose to Weller the truth about Daylight. Now can we find out about Daylight?

S8 E5
Okay they may still not be together, but let's put that to the side for now and just talk about how funny that episode was. We got an ass shot and fart. Juvenile, yes. Funny, hell yes.

For the record, I will always claim MadTV > SNL so when I saw Stephnie Weir was in this episode, I l knew it was going to be funny. I'm so glad she was in most of the episode because she was hilarious. She used her nose to sniff out the killer, but in the end, like always, it took Castle and Beckett to come together and solve the case. The case was pretty good too. A transporter stole a painting from another transporter, but then gave a fake painting to other transporter when he asked for it back. The transporter with the real painting was then going to give it to the family that it truly belonged to, but the brother of the transporter, who painted the fake, killed his own brother to sell the painting and settle his gambling debt. Sad really, but at least the Van Gogh ended up at a museum. But I really want Stephnie's character to stick around. Maybe she can be the Castle's assistant at his PI. Make it work writers. You have nothing going for you except for this episode so far.

Okay back to the mess of the season, Beckett came back to get her stuff and while she was there she sniffed Castle's shirt. When Castle returned to his studio, he saw a Beckett's shirt and decided to sniff it. Everyone was in a sniffing mood. I'll say it in every single recap. Bitch still does not make any sense and it's even worse to be reminded every episode how everyone keeps telling Castle that she's still madly in love with him when she says the things she says to him to push him away and he's there standing like an idiot and thinking of ways to get her back with the help of Lucy, who I think is fucking pointless to have around. Lucy can suck trash from a trash can because that's where she'll end up in my house. Bitch is annoying too, but mostly pointless.

Finally, let me take the time to say I told you so. Well, I didn't really completely tell you so, but I did guess right that one of the boys would become sergeant. I just guessed wrong on who it would be. Esposito is now officially Ryan's boss and I have to say I really wish it was the other way around. Ryan is more boss material (most of the time, in this episode he was just saying all the wrong things), he's more mature (again, most of the time), and he really needs the money. But there has only been a few things the writers have gotten right this year so I really shouldn't expect much. Now who's ready for session 1 of therapy?

2 more episodes to go until D-day.

P.S. Hayley was around, but really wasn't important to this episode. I like the actress, but can we switch her with nose girl?

Hey People,

I just realized I have 2 Janes I have to watch every night and I love them for different reasons.

S2 E2
Jane loves them both and I can see why. Like I always said, Michael is the safe bet and Rafael is the fantasy that could definitely come true. I always find myself rooting for Rafael so I guess I'm #TeamRafael but I wouldn't be upset if she ended up with Michael in the end. BTW, I loved bachelorette Jane. Annoying at times, but funny.

Surprisingly, Xiomara and Rogelio are getting the annulment even though they both confess they love each other. Xo wants to do it the right way this time.

Big news, Petra is pregnant and Rafael just found out about the sperm. His face was priceless as the best narrator in the world rewound and did a play-by-play. How is Jane going to react to this news? Will this be a way for Michael to worm his way back into being the man of the hour who doesn't have 2 baby mamas?

Just when Luisa was just going to be relevant to a meeting, she was up and taken by Rose's minion. Rose probably wants her back. Now Rick Lachlan can build a building blocking the gorgeous view. Well it was about time he won one battle between Rafael and Petra. Lachlan has been screwed over so many times by them as the narrator also pointed out. Have I mentioned how much I love the narrator?

P.S. Did anyone else cry when Alba did? I'm so glad she's going to get her green card. Fear is not a way to live.
P.P.S. Is there any point to give the executive assistant that promotion now since Rafael found out about the sperm anyway? Can they revoke it?

S1 E5
The tattoo-of-the-week involved a guy who was a CI for the CIA, but when the CIA didn't need him anymore the CI wasn't protected any longer and wanted to get back at the CIA, and so he created a dirty bomb. Our FBI team, of course, captures him, but the CIA wants to have even though it isn't within their jurisdiction. The CIA offer the FBI a deal: the CI for Jane. Mayfair says hell no to the idea because she knows what will happen to Jane if she gets handed over. Actually, the CI will probably get killed too because the CIA wasn't supposed to be torturing him on US soil. Mayfair had a decision to make: either let the CIA kill Jane or let the CIA kill the CI. The CIA are such murderous people. Mayfair chose to keep Jane and lost the chance to question CI about any other involvement he was in. She made the right choice.

I love how involved Zapata and Reade are in the show. Most secondaries aren't really involved in the show as much as they should be. They're there, but you don't really dig into their personal lives that much. We knew already that Zapata has a gambling problem, so it would make sense for her to get paid by the CIA to dish out intel on Jane. And then you have Reade, who hates Jane because she's making Weller lose focus and could potentially distract him out in the field. There is definitely something stirring between Jane and Weller and I don't know if I'm completely down for it yet. I think Jane and Weller are great on paper (met as toddlers, then one is taken away and they reunite 25 years later), but Weller is so closed off, I could even argue more so then Jane. I don't think anyone should be getting with anyone at the moment.

We find another piece of the puzzle with Jane. She remembers being taken into a room and filled with children in their beds. It reminded me of an orphanage really. Other than that girl is still a big ass mystery.

If I didn't mention it before, I want to mention it now. Congrats on Blindspot getting a full season order!

Hey People,

Okay so I watched Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and even though I didn't like the premise, the trailer, and the actual name of the show, I decided to hold my judgment until I watched. I learned my lesson with Jane the Virgin to never judge a show before watching it and now that I've watched it, I can judge. I won't be adding this to my list. Even though I love the musical numbers, I just can't get behind this crazy bitch. I get she wasn't happy with her life, but to move to a place just to try to be with a guy to the point that she's stalking him is where I draw the line. I can't root or her. The bitch is crazy, funny, but crazy. And now back to our recap.

S2 E1
Before I start remember this? Did you know they do have a category for outstanding narration on a TV show for the Emmy Awards and Jane the Virgin lost? That is just ridiculous.

So I forgot to mention in the finale review that Rogelio and Xiomara got married, but Xo said last week that it would be annulled, but something tells me that it won't.

I knew Jane would blame herself for the kidnapping of her baby, but I'm glad they didn't spend half the season trying to get him back. Rose wanted her brooch and she got it back and in exchange, Jane got Mateo back.

Petra still wants Rafael back and because of Luisa's really bad advise, she inseminates Rafael's sperm. Something tells me it might have not been Rafael's but the sperm of Scott, the assistant. This is a telenovela after all.

I have no idea what's going to happen with this love triangle, but all I can say is this show still hasn't missed a beat yet.

S8 E3 & E4
E3
There are still not together and everything is just a repeat of what happened to Beckett in her mother's case. She has 2nd thoughts about taking the case on. Someone is there to tell her if she continues, it'll kill her. She goes through with it anyway. Same old, same old. The worse of it is Castle being there trying to win her back. PATHETIC!

Beckett: I will always love you, Rick.
Castle: So why can't we be together?
Beckett: I can't tell you. You'll just have to trust me.

Bitch you make no sense right now.

Anyway, the case-of-the-week was a throwback to Veronica Mars involving the inmates vs the prison guards psyche experiment. One of the inmates ended up killing another inmate after they escaped because she really did go crazy. I'm pretty sure she can plea insanity on this one.

Let's not forget about the 21 Jump Street fail Esposito and Ryan did. They weren't fooling anyone. But what surprised me the most is how much Castle pimped out his daughter. He was always against putting his daughter in trouble and now he doesn't mind using her for a case.

SMH to this whole episode.

E4
Yup, you guessed it, they are still not together yet.

Case-of-the-week: Castle and gang track down the killer of a pathological liar. We meet a blind priest (Ugly Betty!), who mismanaged funds which led said liar to city hall to switch not paid to paid, but during the switch finds out someone has been stealing money. But all of this doesn't matter because in the end, the wife killed the liar because he lied about being rich. The End. Even the cases are starting to suffer. Most of the episode was pointless because the slush fund had nothing to do with his death.

Esposito and Ryan are both taking the sergeant test and I think only one of them will pass (most likely Ryan), which will cause some tension for the two.

Beckett is still ignoring Castle and Castle is still trying to win her back. YUCK! How hasn't Alexis or Martha not try to beat the shit out of Beckett yet? That bitch still doesn't make any sense.

I still don't trust these writers and they haven't assured me of anything. Until the 7th episode, I said. That's all they get. And so far I don't trust that they will deliver.

S1 E3 & E4
E3
So Jane really is Taylor Shaw. I'm glad it really worked out this way because I would have been upset if it turned out to be not true. To tell her who she could have been and just take it away like that would have been too much for her. Besides, this gives Weller a connection with Jane now that is deeper than we first realize.

The tattoo of the week led us to a group that steals high end shit and when you get too greedy something bad always happens. In the end, all the team members die and one of them knew Jane. All Jane could get out of him before he died was Orion, which could be many things. Not very helpful dead man.

The big takeaway from this episode is Mayfair knows things. She is convinced that Jane's tattoos will lead to Daylight. We don't know what that is yet, but apparently only 3 people do. Mayfair would have killed Jane if it weren't for the fact it would draw more attention to the case. Damn it, Mayfair. I thought you were cool like that, but I guess not.

P.S. Jane gets to be on the team and carry a gun. No more wait in the car in her future.
P.P.S. Are will still going to keep calling her Jane or switch to Taylor? I need to know!

E4
Okay I take that back, she is not Taylor Shaw or maybe she is. Ahhh, I don't know!

Tattoo of the week: We find our team at the CDC trying to get a head start on a possible outbreak. It turns out, the head doctors that worked for the CDC were behind outbreaks in the previous years. They were behind the Ebola outbreak in Africa! Crazy! Anyway, the team stopped the deadliest of them all before it could spread.

Weller told Jane about his father being blamed for her kidnapping and Jane realized that Weller has blamed himself for her kidnapping for 25 years.

I like how we're getting to know Reade and Zapata, especially now that we know Zapata is in some major gambling debt. 40K? Damn, girl goes hard! We also find our Reade doesn't really hate Jane, he just doesn't like how Weller reacts when Jane's around. Can he sense that love is in their future like I can? Let's not forget Dr. Patterson's boyfriend. I hope we see more of him and Patterson solving the puzzle.

Theory
I do think she is Taylor Shaw because if she wasn't, then why would she remember bits and pieces of that night? So what about her tooth? I don't maybe they gave implemented false teeth into her, just to make it that much harder to identify her. That's all I got for now.

Hey People,

I checked out Minority Report to see if it would get better and it's still an alright show, but the ratings for it is anything but alright. I don't think it will last that much longer, but it was a nice try and I hope that Meagan Good can find a show that can actually last more than 5 episodes.

S8 E2
If you haven't read my rant yet, I highly suggest that you check it out.

The showrunners have suggested that fans wait until episode 7 titled "Mr. and Mrs. Castle" before judging. I think the damage has already been done, but since I've come this far, I might as well keep going, but I have my doubts. If by episode 7 I still think this season is a lost cause, I have no problem dropping Castle. The ratings aren't that great for it anymore anyways.

I read that Castle will basically try to win Beckett back and I have no idea why he has to grovel for her to stay. She's the one that just made a huge mistake, she's the one that should be begging for his forgiveness when she finally realizes how stupid she's being and even then I say Castle should still divorce her ass.

Someone suggested to me that Castle & Beckett should have gone into the P.I. business together, which would have definitely been better than the way this story is going.

S1 E2
So Jane Doe might be this Taylor Swift Shaw person that was kidnapped 25 years ago by Weller's father, allegedly. She's the right age and apparently has the right scar. There was a blood test taken and hopefully we get to see the results tonight.

Meanwhile, the tattoo-of-the-week (see what I did there?) led our team to who I think was a good guy. It just that he believed the ends justifies the means. A pilot wanted to stop a drone program that lead to innocent Americans being killed. He wanted to make it public so the program would be shut down, but he went about it the wrong way by killing the people behind the program with their own drone. Obviously, the team caught the guy in time before he blew up their own building and saved a little girl in the mix.

Jane had another flashback of killing a nun, who I don't think was a nun at all. She questioned whether she was a good person in her previous life. Does your past define you? Can a good person do bad things? I don't think it's so easily explained by saying good people do good things and bad people do bad things. It's all about context people, but I think Weller put it best when he said all he's seen Jane do is good things and so it doesn't matter what she's done in the past because right now she's a good person.

Reasons Why Castle Is Ruined (RIP Caskett)

Hey People,

So I know this is a recap and all, but I'm totally going to use this space as a rant this time because I need to vent on Castle. I thought having new showrunners would do Castle some good, but that turned out to be a huge mistake. I think they're worse than the last ones because they broke the 1st commandment of Castle--Thou shall not mess with Caskett.
I chose S7 poster to show
how gloomy this situation really is.

Let's start out with the good (this may be a short paragraph). I actually loved how they shot the show--how they dived in and out of the past and present, so when we were looking at footage, it wasn't just us looking at a screen of a screen. I also liked how we got to see Beckett's view in all this. I thought we might not since Stana Katic was busy at the time with her movie. They also still managed to get Beckett and Castle to figure out something together. I also loved...nope that's it.

Onto the hating. I really didn't hate the episode that much. Overall, it was a good episode, until that ending. That ending seriously ruined Castle as a whole and here are the reasons why. But before I get to that can I just say that Castle's step-mom was so fucking random. I was like umm okay chick. It's nice that you saved Beckett and all, but you seriously came from left field. $10 she's behind it all. Will Beckett even tell Castle about his step-mom? No more secrets my ass. Okay, back to the hate list. By the end of the episode, Beckett chose to investigate further into LokSat and the only way for her to do that without putting Castle in harms way was to leave him.
  1. How is leaving going to solve anything? You're still married to the guy. Don't you think the people who are going to come after you can still see you're married and still threaten to kill Castle? They did the 1st time (with spiders I might add), what's to stop them a 2nd time?
  2. Why does Beckett still have an obsession? Didn't she get over this in the season 4 finale when she was hanging off the side of a rooftop? This makes no sense. Her mother's case was more close to home. If she could over that, then why is she hanging onto LokSat, something that she doesn't know shit about.
  3. Beckett chose LokSat over Castle. I don't care what she tells herself, she chose LokSat over Castle. No one was going to come after her or Castle anymore, but because of her "obsession" she can't let it go and so she chose LokSat. The ending conversation basically went like this:

    Beckett: I'm heading out.
    Castle: You're leaving me?
    Beckett: Do you trust me?
    Castle: Always.
Beckett: If I come back, I hope you will still accept me. If not, that's totally cool. I understand.
Castle: Why can't being my wife be enough for you?
    Beckett: Peace motherfucker!

Okay, it didn't go down like that at all, but that's how I perceived it in my head.
What irritates me the most is this: No matter what case comes along now, Castle will always be #2. There will always be another case and that's why Beckett getting over her mother's case was so important because if she can let go of that, then she can let go of any case. But if the "obsession" is still there, then what's the point of Castle sticking around when she'll just go run off to go solve another case. Castle doesn't deserve this, which is why I totally advocate for Caskett to officially breakup.

Like I said before, I was really intrigued to see how the writers would handle Caskett because they were in a tough position. They had to move the story forward which only meant 3 things--a baby or a promotion, or both. They went with promotion, which made sense at the time because they didn't know if the 7th season would be its last and we all know Beckett will be a senator one day so it would have been a nice ending for us to know the prophecy was coming true. Come season 8 premiere, they had to deal with their decision. Beckett chose to be a captain instead of a senator, which was fine because the show did this just in case they came back (Castle is a cop show, not a political one). The problem then becomes Beckett is desk bound and so how do we keep being a cop show with Beckett at her desk and Castle still by her side? Okay, I actually agree with what they did for this for the most part. I thought coming up with the Attorney General plot was genius because it is classified, which makes it justifiable that Beckett wouldn't tell Castle. However, I think instead of Beckett choosing to not run, she should have opted to run. That way, it would actually seem like Beckett was putting Castle 1st by not wanting any harm to come to him (even though it still will since it's public knowledge she's married to him), instead of her being a selfish bitch and choosing to solve a case. It could have been really cool to see Beckett on the run. They could have alternated the perspective each episode like they kinda did with these past two episodes.

Damn, they really should have just gone with the baby story.

P.S. Why can't drama writers write dramas where the couple don't go through a break-up? Comedy writers do it all the time.

Hey People,

If you want my quick reviews of The Blindspot and Minority Report, I suggest you click here. Otherwise, continue your reading of my post. It's great to be back with weekly recaps.

S8 E1
The premiere episode was like the new poster of Castle--I liked it and hated it at the same time. I like the poster and all, they look great, but it's just old-hashed photos from a previous season. Same with the season 8 premiere, they rehashed another story-line of a partner gone missing and didn't tell the other partner anything. Like what most people are bringing up, why do they keep hiding huge secrets from each other?

I thought it was the most out there plot, but then I realized that nothing can compare to last year's plot with Castle MIA and someway, somehow saved thousands of lives. So it doesn't win the crazy plot award; however, I must admit that I didn't know Stana Katic couldn't be in the show as much for a few episodes because she's working on a movie. I kept on wondering why she was missing so much on the show. This movie better be good because the plot is suffering on Castle.

I don't want to be all negative so let me just say this plot does have potential to be great depending on how they present the reason behind Beckett's current mystery. We're still not sure why Beckett kept it a secret. All we know is that Beckett's team from when she worked as a special investigator are all dead now and she's the last survivor. We don't know why people are after her, we don't know why she's hanging out with some guy, and we don't know why she has to be in hiding and not tell anyone why she's hiding. As long as the story makes sense, I don't mind taking the journey and it seems like it will if they continue down the path I think they're going. It would explain why Beckett had to keep everything a secret because of her time working for the Attorney General, so I'll just wait to see what happens tonight to make my final decision on this.

In other news, Alexis is now solving cases by herself, which means she'll be daddy's little helper at his PI business. Speaking of helper, Hayley Shipton looks like she'll be Castle's new crime solving partner. Some people already hate her, but as of right now, I don't mind her. She can't be Beckett-like because then people would think she's a Beckett substitute or worse that Castle will eventually cheat on Beckett, which was what most people were worrying about over the summer (I didn't feel any sexual chemistry between them). But, they went with the opposite type of characteristics, a person who bends the rules and believes the ends justifies the means, as to Beckett's straight by the book. I mean she is a Beckett substitute anyway since Beckett is now the captain and will be working at her desk than out in the field. I feel like the writers couldn't avoid this bad situation. They needed to progress the story, but that meant that Castle and Beckett couldn't be crime partners anymore since a promotion for Beckett meant desk bound. I wouldn't know how to write this season since the two leads won't be around each other as much. Although, I always found it hard to believe that anyone would want to be around their spouse 24/7 like they are. So I'm looking forward to this season just to see where they take things. We have new show leaders than last year (thank god) and I have to say, I really enjoyed the action from last week. Let's hope they keep it up tonight.

P.S. I don't see how spiders are psychological torture unless they were poisonous which they weren't. Does Castle have arachnophobia? It's a common phobia, but still the scene was stupid to me. He should have let the girl use her knife. BTW, I'm gong to miss that girl. She was hardcore and I liked it.
P.P.S. Funny story, I just watched The Player and saw the girl again, but she just ends up dead, again. Or does she?

S1 E1
If you haven't seen Blindspot, I highly suggest you give it a try because it is definitely worth your time.

I wrote a short review for it over the summer. It was definitely my favorite leaked show by a mile. It premiered very well last week, so there will be no quick to cancellation for it.

I loved it and can't wait to see more tonight.

Castle Season 7 Finale Review

Hey People,

The Wire! I know I've been doing this a lot, but I can't help it. It's just great seeing people from The Wire on other shows, but I'll get to that in a little bit. Well wasn't this a pleasant surprise. No cliffhanger. I kid you not, they said they were going to leave us hanging with one, but because of the uncertainty of next season, they wrapped up the story, so it turned out to be a regular case-of-the-week, but at the same time it wasn't.

I kind of hated how they sprung this out of nowhere story of Castle almost dying by the hands of a maniac, who likes to kill people who won't be missed. Umm...okay, random. However, I'll forgive the show because it was far better than that horrible story-line of Castle missing. Oh how I wish they would have switch those stories around. I wish this episode was the arc-story and the missing story was a one off. Anyway, Castle remembers his first dead body and always wondered who the woman was and who killed her. He said that's what made him want to be a mystery writer. Wait a minute, I thought he wanted to be a writer to make up for cheating in high school. It was kind of strange for the episode to focus on the message of what made you who you are and where you will go when they can't even remember why Castle became a writer.

Hey People,

S1 E21
Well done Jane! She used a basic mean girl trick and got what she wanted. Does that mean for people to get what they want we have to stoop to the levels of the mean spirited? Because that's what the moral of the story is in last week's episode. I'm just saying if you were thinking Jane was going to take the high ground, you would have been totally wrong. It is something to ponder though.

So Jane tricked Petra into making her mother confess to pushing Alba by using the fact that she knows Petra is still in love with Rafael. It was a genius plan and well executed one by Rafael. I wasn't surprised by this. I knew once we saw that flashback of Jane in the classroom that it would end like this. By the way, I loved those flashbacks and love it anytime Jane's conscious talks to her. I just recently went to my 5 year reunion (like Jane did), but I showed up late, actually if you must know the truth, I crashed it. I totally forgot that it was that night (no one was surprised I forgot). By the time I got there, everyone was already drunk. Great times. If you want to know the details I would happily share it.

Anyway, Xo and Rogelio will try to be good friends. We learned that Rogelio is afraid of heights and Xo told the director that it was her who was afraid of heights so Rogelio wouldn't come off as being difficult to work with. This may be the start of a beautiful friendship, which will probably lead them back down the road of lovers, eventually.

So now Petra's mother is in jail and she's still trying to get back with Rafael even though Rafael will probably never get back with her. Rafael still has not told Jane why he broke up with her, but it seems like it may be too late. Michael is already moving in position and has Jane's heart fluttered. I like both Michael and Rafael, I wouldn't know who to choose either. Michael is sweet, but impulsive and Rafael is daring, but stupid. I'm just so confused. This is how you write a love-triangle people and remember people E.G.O.T.

Theory:
Season finale is tonight and the baby is coming. There is apparently a huge twist and I have no idea what it could be other than maybe Michael and Rafael are half brothers. His mother did remarry and she said she has a son. Could it be Michael?

S7 E22
People have said this episode was better than most recent episodes, but I don't agree. I totally think the plane episode was better than this one.

Case-of-the-week: Caskett solves the murder of Lorne Michaels the owner, who owns SNL SNT (Saturday Night Tonight). Turns out his right hand man did it because he was embezzling and the owner found out.

I only liked this episode because Jaleel White (Steve Urkel) was in it. I haven't seen White in a long time and he's still cute as ever. I can't believe they didn't put a "Did I do that" in his dialogue. Random as ever Carly Rae Jepsen showed up out of the blue. Seriously that was really really really really really really really random and I'm not a fan of her latest song.

I know there is a cliffhanger for the finale so I'm prepared for it. I'm still waiting for Katic to sign on for another season. It doesn't even have to be the full season, I just want her story to be wrapped up so we're not left hanging.

Hey People,

Games are taking over my life.

S1 E20
Jane wants full custody! That's just harsh. I know Rafael broke her heart and all, but seeking sole custody is just too much. I worry that Jane will become a totally different person now. I like loving, fun, believes in fairy tales Jane. I don't want her to change.

I really hope Luisa is a main character next year. When she comes in, it's like a breath of fresh air. She's a scene stealer. Although she can leave her girlfriend at the door. Juicy really? Anytime I hear that name, I cringe. Hopefully that sibling talk talked some sense into Rafael and made him realize he made a mistake in lying to Jane by telling her he didn't love her. But it may be too late because chick has gone off the deep end.

Xo and Rogelio are still broken up and I don't blame Rogelio for sticking to is guns. Obviously this isn't what he wanted, but at least he has his old job back with producer credit. As for Alba, well chick is getting her groove on with a priest. I'm surprised at myself for wanting to see where this story goes.

I don't see why anyone can't explain to Jane that family lie for each other just like she would do for her family. So how can she hate on Petra for doing the same and asking Rafael to fire her, which is impossible. He got her mother fired. Why can't she give him some credit for that. Petra still wants Rafael so she's playing nice for now. I'm just hoping this show doesn't revert back to the beginning of the series before their season ends because that looks like where everything is heading. Jane with Michael, Rafael with Petra, and Jane suing someone and still knocked up. But I trust these writers because so far they've been doing a great job their first run unlike another show I watch.

S7 E21
I enjoyed last week's episode for the most part, but I think Castle is having a problem with creating good red herrings. An ISIS wannabe, but it turns out it was his brother who wanted to be part of the group, but the guy wanted to go back home to Syria to visit his sick mother so he stole a passport to get on a flight. How the hell did he steal a black guy's passport and get away with boarding a plan? Why the hell did Castle and friends think there might be a bomb on the plan? Don't you think they would check luggage for those sort of things? The story was solid as a whole though. Oh and that girlfriend setup was a bunch of crap. Castle writers, you can do better than this.

Case-of-the-week: Castle meets Snakes on a Plane (I still need to watch that movie). Castle and Alexis solves a case in midair about a flight attendant who stole a $13 million watch because cheap bastards don't want to pay tax on importing/exporting shit. She had it all planned out, but the air marshal was onto her and so she killed him.

Anyway I enjoyed the beginning and the end. I just hated the middle. I hope in the future there can be a Beckett and Alexis case they can solve together. I'm still looking for those mother and daughter moments.

Hey People,

Sorry for the lateness, had errands to run.

S1 E19
I love how Jane goes through the 7 or should I say 8 stages of grief. At least Rafael and Jane tried to work on things, but in the end, Rafael was right to break up with Jane. He is in a dark place and as we have seen in the past, he would just bring Jane down with him. Jane wouldn't be able to give up on Rafael if he didn't say he didn't love her, but I still feel bad about it. Now Michael thinks this is his chance to get back with Jane so he breaks up with Andie. I hope we still see Andie in the future. Michael also had to deal with finding out his partner was being blackmailed by Sin Rostro and has been working for her and derailing the case, but Michael being Michael gave her a head start before he notified his superior.

Xo finally told Rogelio the truth about kissing Marco and Rogelio dumped her for it. It's Rogelio. He's very prideful. Maybe Xo will take Jane's advice and go see a therapist.

Petra killed Roman. I feel bad for her. She has no one in her life and because she's so desperate she called her mother, which led Alba to see who pushed her off the stairs. I hope we find out whatever happened between Alba and the priest.

I love how this show works. So planned from the beginning and everything works so well. I wish more shows could be like this one.

S7 E20
I'm not going to lie to you people, I totally zoned out of this episode. There was no case of the week, instead Castle's abduction was in play. His 2 months absence has really gotten so crazy I kind of don't even want to talk about it because it got so ridiculous that I was rolling my eyes constantly. The story is crazy.

Castle starts remembering some things from when he was missing and so Beckett suggests seeing a therapist. I don't know why when all the therapist did was tell him to close his eyes and think of what happened. Did he really need to pay a crap load of money for that? He is rich so it really doesn't matter. Anyway, Castle starts remembering people and everyone thinks he's just remembering Chuck Norris movies. Hell, even I thought the guy looked like Chuck Norris before they mentioned his name. What I still can't stand is how Esposito treats Castle like he's making all this shit up. What an ass Espo can be. Anyway, it all turns out to be true and Castle finds out his memories were altered a bit so his friend in high school would be forgotten. His friend ended up working for Al-Qaeda, but later defected and was an informant for the CIA and someway, somehow Castle saved thousands of people. This is some fucking bullshit. You might as well have called it The Hangover 4.

The story isn't over yet because there are still things Castle doesn't know about and still can't count for his whereabouts, but I say #whothefuckcares I'm sick of this story-line. It's way too crazy and contrived. Hopefully, this episode tonight can bring us back to Earth.

Hey People,

S1 E18
Ahh! Usually it's easy to see who's in the right and who's in the wrong, but I have to say when it comes to Jane and Rafael, I can't tell. Jane was in the wrong because she doubted Rafael so many times that even though she stopped doubting him, he started to believe her doubts, which led to their break up. Rafael is in the wrong because he values leaving something for the baby over actually being there for the baby. They have different parenting styles. I wonder how it's going to work now. I'm glad it was Rafael who ended it and not Jane. If Jane broke it off, I would start thinking she's indecisive and doesn't know what she wants.

I would think Jane would go running back to Michael, but Michael seems like he's in a good place now and I still like Andie even if she lied.

Xo found out that the reason why Rogelio's mother always hated her is because she thought denied Rogelio the opportunity to be a father to Jane, but all was cleared in the end. However, I doubt Xo will become friends with that woman anytime soon. To me, Rogelio's mother made sense. Xo and Rogelio didn't talk about having kids. They really didn't talk about anything before they moved in. Children are a deal breaker. Either you want them or you don't. There is no compromise and that might be the reason why they end things. Xo really does know how to sabotage herself. I mean, I like the other guy too, but damn, she'll eventually have to come clean about that one.

I knew Petra was right about Aaron being Roman and now she's in some hot shit. As for Alba and her priest, I wonder if she didn't ask him out correctly. Like maybe, he didn't take it as a date because of the way Alba asked. One thing is for sure though, Alba sure knows how to pick them.

S6 E19
Well that was a long break. Last time, we had a fun episode and the best part was all the extras guest stars regulars starred in it.

Case-of-the-week: An injury lawyer, who used to work or a law firm that protected a made-up motor company was murdered for not taking advantage of a situation. You see, there was something wrong with a model of a car and the motor company thought it would be a waste of too much money if they did a recall so instead they tried to cover it up. The injury lawyer wanted to right the wrong, but he needed proof, a dummy that would show the results of what happened when the car gets into an accident. Another injury lawyer also knew and instead of holding the motor company countable, he wanted to blackmail him into giving him money. The injury lawyers got into a heated argument and one of them killed the other. THE END, but great story.

So there was a fun wager going on between Castle and Ryan and Esposito. They all bet on who would win the cop talent show Castle and Beckett or Ryan and Esposito. Castle wasn't even eligible until Jimmy Kimmel dropped out at the last minute to be the star of the show and they asked Castle to step in. It's always fun when they're in their competitive spirit; however, Beckett was freaking out the whole time because she has stage fright and didn't want Castle to think less of her. In the end, Ryspo won for the 3rd time in a row, but only because Castle called Kimmel and told him to do the show. Beckett put two and two together and figured out Castle did it for her and they shared a nice shower (clearly not the actors) scene of them practicing their routine. I liked it even though it wasn't really them, but so many people thought it was corny and stupid. Oh well, can't win everyone over.

Tonight hopefully they'll put to rest the story of Castle missing. I am not looking forward to this episode, I only look forward to us moving on from this story.

Hey People,

S7 E18
It's always nice to have Ryan at the center because his cases are so interesting. But seriously where is Lanie? I don't even remember the last episode she was in.

Case-of-the-week: A politician and a woman about pure water were gunned down with only the politician surviving. Turns out the politician and the woman were lovers, but don't feel bad for the wife, she had a mistress too. I wanted to high-five her. Anyway, the politician's right hand woman was the killer because she wanted to be there when he ran for president, but pure water lady didn't think she was worthy of her spot.

I don't know if we knew this before, but Ryan has a sister and her husband was played by David Conrad (Ghost Whisperer).

We also found out Beckett is studying for the Captain Exam. Does this mean bye-bye to Captain Gates? Politics were also thrown into the mix, but maybe Beckett should make Captain before going down that road.

Fans Deserve Better, Castle

Hey People,

Okay, so anytime I check my Google Now there is always an article about Castle and how neither Nathan Fillion, nor Stana Katic have signed a contract with ABC to extend their run for the show. In other words, there may not be a season 8.

Now I think 7 seasons are a lot and if the actors feel like it's time for them to go, I wouldn't hate on that; however, what I will hate on is if they left while their character's story isn't over. Beckett's story with her mother (that's been going on since the 1st season) was wrapped up and so was the 3XK story (that started in the 3rd season and ended recently), but Castle's MIA story just started at the end of the 6th season. If they wrapped that up this season, I wouldn't have any problems with them not coming back next fall. But they're not and what's even worse is they're starting a new mythology for Beckett by the end of this season and are ending it on a cliffhanger.

I just want to make sure that I get this straight. They'll have two unfinished stories that they just started recently and they'll end on a cliffhanger this season. I'm not going to lie to you people. I'm frickin' pissed. I spent 7 years watching this show and for them to end it like this even though they know they may not return for another season is a slap in the face.

I'm kind of upset with both parties. I'm upset with the writers that wrote this story without considering they may not be back next year and I'm upset with the actors because they know how this season will end and they might fuck their fans over. But I'm still holding out hope for Fillion and Katic to renew their contracts. They truly love their fans. Fillion will be Browncoat until the day he dies, no matter how much I dislike Firefly.

It's really sad that a show that has gone on for so long may not get an ending. To me, there is no point of watching a show if there's no end.

Luv ya,
           Diva

P.S. It's funny how Chuck, who was always in danger of cancellation, wrote their season finales as series finales and when they announced their 5th season would be their last, they ended up writing probably the worst series finale out of all of them. But at least I can say Chuck is complete and had an end, even if I didn't like it.

Hey People,

S2 E20
I don't know how I got this wrong. How is Monte not gay? She is sending the biggest gay vibe towards Lena I've ever seen. She did say she should try with woman so it's not like its impossible.

The recap starts...now. We find out Callie has been a victim of credit card theft and since time is of the essence (EMANCIPATION), she needs to get this squared away. Stef does her cop thing and it leads back to Mr. Pervert, Callies ex-foster brother. He could have gotten away with it to if it weren't for Stef and Callie's meddling. He took credit cards out on his new foster sister and when she found out, she spilled the beans on everything. Mr. Pervert is going away for a long time on charges of identity theft and his sexual activities with a minor.

Brandon how to teach the twins how to drive (people are going to die if they get on the road). But the biggest takeaway last week for him was Lou isn't talking to him ever since he chose to go to camp for the summer.

Mariana had an issue with Emma since she quit the dance team because she doesn't believe women can be smart and sexy (I have you know I am both of those things and more ;) but it seems Mariana has figured out a way for Emma to have it all. We just know what it is yet. Hopefully she doesn't do something crazy (even though secretly I want her to do something crazy).

Seems like another person is moving into the house. How many rooms does that place have? Ana is moving and even though she made her decision to give the baby to the moms, I'm thinking there will be a custody battle for it between the moms and the grandparents. I think grandparents are too old to be raising a baby by choice. They did their time, why do extra? I think that letter Ana wrote to them that Mariana delivered will want them to adopt. We'll see if I'm right. It was nice to see an Ugly Betty vet though.

Oh Jonnor is such a beautiful thing. Connor ended up getting shot in the foot (although I don't know how since he was running away from shooter, not towards him). The father shouldn't have a gun if he was aiming to kill. He shouldn't have gun since he didn't look to see who it was in the 1st place. Anyway Connor came out to his father and his father had forbid him to see Jude. Honestly, I don't know why the father would play childish games and lie about the whole thing. Instead of telling Jude's parents he doesn't want Jude around Connor because Connor is attracted to Jude, he puts all the blame on Jude and tell his moms Jude is a bad influence on his son. You can't stop love.

I was reading a comment section and people were arguing about their kids watching Jonnor and how they are a bad influence because they are so young. Jonnor is the youngest gay pairing ever on TV and I have to say the way they are writing them is beautiful. Out of all the romantic relationships formed on The Fosters, Jonnor has to be the best written so far. I'm not including Stef and Lena because they've been together throughout the entire show. I think the people who have a problem with Jonnor are the same people who think being gay is sexual and can't be as innocent as a boy and a girl. If a boy and a girl can kiss when they're 14 and everyone finds it cute, then why can't a boy and a boy kiss at the same age and everyone find it cute? Think about it.

Tonight is the season finale so make sure you watch because there won't be a new one for quite some time.

"You cannot leave behind what is always at your side." That is a really nice quote. Someone had to have said that before.

Beckett thinks she's fallen behind career-wise and it doesn't help that a beautiful, inspector, and wife comes in to help solve a case. Beckett is envious and even jealous of her life. She has the job and the family. She has it all. She has balance. But that was just all a lie. She's separated from her husband and all she has is her job now. This girl is barely making it. In the end, it seems like Beckett is the one with the perfect life or should I say the perfect balance to life.

The case-of-the-week was actually really sad and I felt bad for the killer. I think this may be the first time I felt bad for the killer on Castle. I could be wrong though. A man was killed for helping an immigrant get out of her deal with the human smuggler by setting up a guy so he would go to jail. The thing was the immigrant's friend wasn't part of the deal and she didn't want to left all alone while her friend earned her freedom, and so she killed the victim so she wouldn't lose her friend.

I want to end on a happy note so let's talk about Beckett's list. Beckett made a list of what she wants for her future. Kids is definitely on the list, but I'm guessing so is being a senator. Think about it. Morgan (he will always be Morgan to me from Chuck) said Beckett was a senator in the future and in this episode Beckett isn't satisfied with just being a detective anymore. She wants to climb mountains. She thinks there is something more she could be doing. A senator fits that perfectly. Maybe future Morgan was right or crazy.

I just want to add when Castle said he's had experience with marriage since this is his 3rd wife, did anyone else say, "Obviously you didn't learn anything since this is your 3rd wife"?

Tonight I hear will be a Ryan-centric episode. The last time we had one of those, it was amazing. I'm hoping they can top themselves tonight.

Luv ya,
